The are 100% the same. The same people who did not like Obi may have gotten better information about his tenure and changed their minds. There are Yorubas who made dangerous comments against Asiwaju before his presidency but today, he is the best President and a 2nd term is not negotiable. The two scenarios of Obi and Tinubu are not the same. Those that changed their position on Tinubu may have 1 or 2 things he has done as President that convinced them. What can those that changed position on Obi, point at that made them change their minds when he hasn't held any position since he left Anambra? Obi never held any position after he left office to inform the strange metamorphosis

Mark, you see, this is where I will push back and will not stop.

Anyone is welcome to banter Obi, question his integrity, personality, performance as a Governor or any held position and I will have absolutely no problem. Infact, you can banter and ridicule his voice, shoe, wrist watch, it is all part of the game and as a politician Obi should expect it, he put himself out there like every other politician.

However, on a personal level, I will not tolerate or accommodate any attempt to ridicule Obi because he is "Igbo" or any agenda narrative around his tribe, whether hidden or obvious. The last time I checked, Obi is a candidate of a National Party with National following and is well within his constitutional right to vie for that office. Obidients do not represent the Igbo cause, they represent their own political ideology. This is the same way I have pushed back on the idea that IPOB represent Igbos and our collective cause.

Once again, let me be very clear, I don't care about Agendas against Obi nor Asiwaju nor Atiku, but please, refrain from making this about Obi being Igbo because we know where it will go and rest assured I will take PTO days for it and not back down.

Check that line you highlighted and I believe my using many Obidients before it, clears your concerns about my position. Not all Obidients are pushing this agenda but those that after cursing Obi for failing in Anambra and now he is the Messiah, have questions to answer. Plus those who after seeing proofs of his woeful performance as Governor and his lies and gimmicks, still defending him because he is from their tribe.

I will rather become mute than promoting Fayose to become the President as he is in the same category of deceptive leaders like Obi, in my eyes.
