I studied in the uk too but my agent adviced to take an English test regardless.
That’s your Choice now bros ur agent advised you and you choose to do it notwithstanding the fact that you studied in the UK before .probably u weren’t sure it already counts for exemption however for those who did not do it and also studied abroad there’s no need to worry much about the exam in light of the embassy’s response which is evident for all to see.

So I mailed the Abuja office about ielts having had a masters degree in the UK and here is their reply.
This was the point I was trying to make earlier with respect to those who have a previous degree from the Uk that it should count for exemption coupled with a further explanation from the respective institutions.

Please don't mislead people online cos you won't be there to console them. It is very important to take English test as many have been refused visa based on that
Did u read my write up ? U can see my point was in respect to an individuals peculiar case ooo I no tell any body make dem no do test Biko I only suggested that for those whose uni specifically told dem they don’t need the test the uni should support what they say with documentation n I gave a scenario I know of. Abeg test is a must ooo am reiterating

It's compulsory for visa.. Am going g to NCI January also ad Wana pay my school fees and visa this month end..
My personal opinion bro if NCI says u don’t need it I guess u don’t need it then. That been said in your letter of acceptance they should write a statement saying they have made an assessement of your English Lang ability to satisfactory. I know of an individual who also dint do the test however the guy gave them reasons as to why he feels he doesn’t have to plus he studied in the UK too and made reference to all his previous studies in Nigeria to be taught in English and that of his degree in the Uk, bros they gave him his visa.
Pls this is not to dissuade any applicant from doing the test ooo better safe than sorry am just saying an initial study experience in the UK or any English speaking country should suffice along with a statement from the respective institution in respect to the exam.
It’s just a shame our govt does nothing with the way this guys bully us lol a lot of dem sef we saving the English pass dem as if na Latin we use they study for niger after dem go say brits colonise us so what’s the point . Lmao

Definitely Yes if they can get every refusal reason sorted correctly or adequately.
**Professional advice though, if the school has the program available for Jan, let them appeal before the 2 month window lapses and get an offer for Jan. This will give them more time to sort out all paper works.

Refusal reasons have ranged from people thinking IELTS/PTE/TOEFL is not a requirement to some as trivial as WAEC Certificate (***This answers the person who mentioned they intend making a visa application without their transcripts) not been included to 3rd parties making Tuition fee payment on behalf of the applicant especially when this is different from the sponsor.

Try and cover all bases before submitting an appeal. But then, we can't rule out the supernatural favour of God sha, so all the best everyone
Appeal takes minimum of 72 hours to 5 weeks or more or exceptional cases.
Guys I want to urge you all to be optimistic knowing fully well that your case is different ijn.Gods unmerited favour and grace will speak for for us all. All this saddening and unpleasant reports from our mates this week will change and I can assure you all IT WILL ALL END IN PRAISE.

They will deny your visa because you refuse to tell them the truth better mail them explain yourself before they they explain themselves to you. Send the refusal page to thru email and let them know you forgot because they share the same database better late than never
Thanks for the advice I will do as advised but I do not have the refusal letter at hand, I never imagined I’d still need it after such a long time considering I was still granted a visa a few months after the Russel to the same country. Yh I know both countries exchange intel like you rightly pointed and I felt if they dig it up they will find out i was refused bk then because I submitted late cos shey all applications ought to be treated based on its merit ! So I thought ooo Ireland visa n it’s complexities

Hi everyone, am new here and I’d appreciate your prompt response esp for those who have gotten their Irish visas. I submitted my application since the 23rd of July and am still not able to track the progress as the page keeps telling me invalid reference. Also I honestly forgot to mention I had been refused a study visa for the Uk bk in 2010 be refusal reason was as a result of late submission of my application.however I got my study visa subsequently and I did my undergraduate study in the Uk which I signed off in 2016, will this omission affect my chances of being issued visa and what can I possibly do to salvage the situation as I had already submitted before it occurred to me Should I email the embassy and escalate the omission or chill? More so I did not include English Lang test in my application will this also be a big deal pls ? Ur response will be highly appreciated

Hi @ laajiblik I understand why u might think my info is flaud ryt but go check and read Tru the appendix C of the immigration rule and evaluate it critically.like I said earlier it says the money must be available in the manner specified n dat the funds will remain available in such manner unless used to pay for course fee n accommodation.now u saying it says it must be available for ones use while in the UK is ryt oo,but ask urself how it's gonna be available in the UK if u do not transfer it to the UK abi but go travel leave the money for naija furthermore "must have been held is in plain English meaning at some point u must have had d funds in ur account cos if that's not the case the rule wouldn't give the grace of using the statement at least up to a month or so after uv printed it out.i guess u need to revisit the rules u read and have a rationalistic approach bro before u accuse someone of misinformation.personally I av been asked if I had d money in an interview before by an ECO and I told I'm no cos I had sent the money abroad which is within the confines of the maintenance rules and I got my visa ooo.and who told u they ask if uv got money in d account sef when they inquire
cos dey don't have d ryt aside confirming d genuity of what u submitted and ur other details.anyways I was jus trying to calm a fellow dude down cos he was tensed unnecessarily having said that we are entitled to our opinion.

LaaJiblik:
HOW CONVENIENT FOR YOU TO TRY TO JUSTIFY ILLEGALITY AND EVEN TRYING TO HOODWINK FOLKS HERE BY SAYING THE RULES WERE WRITTEN IN THE PAST TENSE FORMAT.

YOU DECIDED TO IGNORE THE PART OF THE RULE WHICH SAYS THE MAINTENANCE MONEY MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR USE WHILE IN THE UK.

Please, my brother/sister: Stop propagating illegality and misinformation here.

Thank you.

@justwis,@mimilyrics and to all the guys here pls I'd like to know what u think about using a loan letter from the bank as evidence of funds for Tier4 student maintenance where all tuition fee has been payed already if it's acceptable or not ?cos the bnk said they need to see proof of visa before the loan can be released, further more if it's possible will the loan letter alone suffice or it needs to be attached with some other documents e.g affirmative letter from a local govt etc.

Hi everyone,
Please I'd like to know if one can pay for the UK application fee and ihs fee using a UK credit or debit card without having any issues as I was told the payments are made in dollar equivalent and what's the likely hood of been able to have an appointment slot 2days after paying for the application online e.g say I pay online on Wednesday what's the chance of been able to book an appointment on Thursday or Friday to those who have applied recently pls i'd appreciate your prompt response thanks

Hi guys,
Pls I'd like to note that am new to this just in case am not posting this via the right platform.i'd like to get ur views asap pls with respect to my Tier4 visa application
I want to know if it's ok or if anyone here has applied for visa whose date of application exchange rate on oanda is a bit higher than what he/she had in thier account during the 28day period.
I have already done my funding which was above the rates on oanda through out the 28day period, however I had to send the statement to my uni for verification cos they asked before they could send my cas, I was planning to pay for my application on the 2nd of August but unfortunately the rates peaked and up till today been the 7th of Aug it hasn't dropped and am a bit skeptical if it's gonna drop soon cos it's #470 to £1 at the moment and the rate I used was#450 to £1 at the time I commenced my funding.
Pls I need ur advice guys if I should submit cos my statement is about 2weeks now since I printed it out and I don't have any money to top up o. My tuition
