Get admission for summer that you can defer to Winter! If appointment comes middle of the year, submit you admission letter with your deferrment letter. Embassy will process it but will give you approval Mail close to Winter requesting for your passport.

Once you have a visa you can tavel anytime before the visa expires. They asked for your intended travel and not a must travel date! Book flight to when it suites you and you start of programme best🙏👍

I have a quick question, I recently interviewed at the German embassy for a student visa (on Friday) with a sponsorship letter.

However, the sponsorship letter Is expired. I am now been given 2 weeks deadline to submit a sponsorship letter.

Can I at this stage switch to Blocked account since this is much faster than waiting for a new sponsorship letter ?

Note that the visa officer already collected the expired sponsorship letter

Every Semester Application you pay €75 for the 1st course and €30 for additional courses. So know when to apply so you dont loose money due to appointment with Embassy Lagos not due...all the best

Go for the Interview. Tell them your proof of funds will be available in April. If they dont accept then they will give you 2weeks to provide it. Then you decide on what to do

Only Primary certificate. The others are your university requirement and not embassy. The list of required documents are on the Germany embassy Lagos Website too!

I got admission for Ma in a private university in germany. The tuition fee is a monthly instalment of 492euro. So, I emailed German embassy in UAE asking them how best to show POF for my tuition. The reply was, they will make the decision according to the deal I have with the school. That they have know standard for it. Guys how best do you think I navigate this?.

I dont think you should mention that fee aspect because it will not be written on your admission letter. Just do normal block Account.

My spouse has her family reunion appointment next month, but her passport is currently being held at Belgian embassy because she applied for visa to go on a training. the Belgian embassy is not responding to her mails to retrieve the passport even though the travel schedule is past due.
Does anyone know if she can attend the family reunion visa appointment at the German embassy with a colored copy of her passport, or will she have to postpone the appointment?

Was she not expecting Appointment this period? why play with her passport by sending it to a 3rd party...
you did not state the date next month but if it is about a month from now i will advice she wait 2wks to the date and apply for express passport renewal under lost of item. I believe that if you cancel your appointment you have to wait more than one year for a new one.

I got a message on d 6th of Dec 2021 I got approval to submit my passport n insurance also for d kids which I did on the 8th and the mail says our travel date must not be earlier than 14days which was d exact date we picked but to my surprise we are yet to receive our visas from them. Note that I sent an empty courier already. Call them severally but no cogent reasom.
Pls what could be the cause of this

Try tracking your envelope...did you go to submit the passport yourself? choosing exact 14days and the courier delivers to the embassy into the 14days is contradictory to the request...you should have given a month or at least 3wks...just be patient as this happened during the holidays when most offices staff take holidays.

I submitted tourist Application for UK on the same 8th dec. and did my biomectrics same morning in germany here, is being more than 15 working days but nothing from them.

So sometmyz u wldnt entirely blame d embassy, even though they even derive "joy" in d delay as they dnt wnt blacks especially Nigerians in their country because we don turn "see finish" . Even getting appiontment to register in d foregin offices in dis cities once u enter Germany is another story ,sometmyz ur 3mnths visa elapses b4 u get an appointment . Jst b strong. They cn only delay bt NEVER deny u ur ryt because once ur spouse is legally here and u both hv provided EVERY document needed, den u hv every ryt to join ur spouse for d purpose of family reunion .

other nationals are going through this delays too...i am on a facebook group and some middle east countries take longer than nig

I think it is to confirm your living space , they already have your data.

I called embassy today and they said spouse will wait at the gate...since applicant is not a minor and not going for medical tourism...lol

I am new here but are you going to keep your rent running why you are away...your living space is required and if you are in nigeria for the interview...you should return after the lawyer's verification to handle abh correspondence. then when you are done with abh you can choose to go back to nigeria...i dont really know but this guys here can use post like yesterday

The interview questions are not hard. In my case, I was asked about my spouse. How, where and when we met. The last time he came to Nigeria and when last we saw. How often our communication is and which means. (Phone call or text messages) why it took us a little after 5 years before we married. Basically, it was questions about my spouse to show that our marriage is legit and not arranged.
I wasn't asked any Deutsch question but I learnt they ask some people.


And for verification, every single document you submit would be verified.

Make sure you are truthful in all. They just want to know the truth. They will juxtapose your interview with the forms you submitted.
