About 4 Years ago, I was fresh out of service and had purchased my first BB with my payoff from my PPA. I was jobless at the time so I joined one of those BBM group to keep busy. I added one of the more outspoken ladies in the group and we got talking.

A Fulani girl, She was just there, nothing spectacular about her (at least that was what the blurry pix she sent me showed at the time), but what endeared me to her was her Simple unassuming nature, her very liberal views and great sense of humor. We chatted alot and finally decided to meet up a month later since we were both in the same town.

On the D-day I cleaned up real good and got to the venue (One of those Café’s littered all over Abuja) much earlier than planned, got comfortable and waited. About 30 mins later one of the “freshest” & most beautiful ladies I have ever seen walked in. She was drop dead gorgeous! You know how those rich Fulani ladies Arabian blood are, Very fragile and delicate. My jaw was literally on the floor and I wasn't alone cos most of the convo around me stopped. it was so surreal that I couldn't believe what I was looking at.

She glided up to my table and ask if she could sit, I gladly oblige her completely forgetting that I was waiting for someone. There I sat already scheming of ways to start up a conversation with this angel when she said “sorry to have kept you waiting Aje….”. It didn't register at first because I felt she had mistaken me for someone else but then again I just heard my name.

My disbelieve must have been very obvious because she took one look at me and started laughing and then went on to apologize for sending me pictures of someone else. At that point in time, I could have forgiving her for murder.

It took me a while to get over the initial shock but then we went on to have the time of our lives. Her father was one of those money bags in the north. She was funny, witty and fun to be with and before we knew it, 3hrs had passed and we had to call it a day. We left the place and before I could say anything, she gave me a hug and hopped into her Range Rover Sport. Chai! Na there my head scatter. grin grin grin

Fast forward a few days later and we were in each other’s arms in a posh hotel she paid for. The sex was out of this world (you know how mad Hausa/Fulani chics can be behind closed doors). We just couldn't get enough of each other. our tryst continued for months all over town until I got a job and left Abj for good. We've remained good friends ever since. She’s long married (Society wedding and all) but not before helping me settle in when I got my apartment.

She’s one of the best people I know till date and I still miss her like mad. cry

Computers / HOW TO AVOID ONLINE BANKING FRAUD by Ajekpako(m): 11:09am On Oct 20, 2013
In general, bankers who take advantage of online banking services should be aware that technology, the Internet, and networks are not totally safe. Online banking is a great and convenient service, however those who use it must always be alert and aware of their financial accounts and possible hacking attempts.

• Create a “strong” password with at least 8 characters that includes a combination of mixed case letters, numbers, and special characters.

• Users must change their password after the first log-in for online banking. Besides, keep changing your password at regular intervals. Needless to say, don't disclose your password to anyone, not even the banking staff.

• Avoid using the Internet banking facility from cyber cafes, libraries or from systems installed in public places. But in case it is an absolute necessity, you must clear the browser cache and delete the temporary files on the PC you've accessed the Internet from.

• Avoid using your date of birth, telephone number, address or name in your password. This practice makes your account more vulnerable to being hacked as your password can be easily guessed by just about anyone. Besides, do not leave your computer unattended while you are logged in to the bank site.

• Never let your computer remember your passwords, names, etc. Always disable the browser's option of storing user names and passwords.

• Make it a thumb rule not to send credit card or account details via e-mail to anybody, or in response to an e-mail.

• While shopping online, please wait for a second and check if the website is an established one and a reputed name in the online shopping domain. Always check if the shopping site has a well-established permanent address.

• Always log off after Internet banking once you are done with it. You need to log out from the website and do not shut off the window in order to log off from the session

• While making online payments, check whether the website is secure or not by looking for, i) a padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser, and ii) an 's' added to http in the URL. It should then be https.

• Whenever you make a transaction, immediately check your account and see if the right amount has been deducted or added to it. In case there is any misappropriation, inform the concerned bank immediately.

• Always reject any e-mail that asks you to follow a link to the website of your bank. You may end up revealing your personal details on a fake bank website, from which hackers steal information.

• You must not open multiple browsers/tabs during Internet banking. Also equip your system with an up-to-date anti-virus software and have a firewall installed in it.

• Do not keep documents and receipts related to your online translations. They usually carry confidential personal financial information. You had better destroy or shred such documents or receipts to stop them from falling into the wrong hands.

• You shouldn't give your e-mail address at websites without knowing how it will be used. Besides, do not share your personal information like date of birth, etc, on the Internet unnecessarily because it can be used by others to unlock or generate your account password.

• Whenever possible, use Bill Pay instead of checks to limit account number dissemination exposure and to obtain better electronic record keeping.

• Take advantage of and regularly view system alerts; examples include: Balance alerts, Transfer alerts, Password change alerts

• Do not use account numbers or other account or personal information when creating account nicknames or other titles.

• Never leave a computer unattended while using Personal Online Banking.

• Always type your bank’s address into your web browser – never follow a link in an email and then enter personal details.

• When making a payment, always double check that you have entered the correct account number and sort code.

• Be wary of any unexpected or suspicious looking ‘pop-up’ windows that appear during your online banking session.

• Stop and think about the process you normally go through to make a payment to someone – be suspicious if it differs from the last time you used it.

• Fraudsters sometimes try to trick people into making a real payment by claiming “it’s just a test”.

• Monitor your accounts regularly, paying attention to all transactions over the past few months.

Romance / Re: Girls Regretting Not Giving Their Phone Number To A Guy At The First Place by Ajekpako(m): 3:26pm On Oct 16, 2013
Well the funny thing is women erroneously believe that holding out on a guy & doing the initial shakara instantly purifies them and increases their self worth grin

but like my very wise friend would say, "a skank is a skank no matter how fast/slow she puts out"

After sex, then what? your personality is all you've got left and if it's a shitty one holding out as long as mother Theresa wont do a thing for you.

what most girls don't get is that people generally get mad when they "pay" so much for an over-hyped product only to finally realize its not worth much hence the vicious cycle of hurt & abuse ladies experience in relationships these days

i once knew a guy who spent 1yr chasing one "supposedly" good girl, the day he finally got her to sleep with him was the same day he threw her out of his room naked & when i asked why, he replied "i wasted my time on a goddam LovePeddler!". Obviously the 1yr didn't purify the girl much cheesy

i also know another guy who slept with a girl the first day he met her and spent the next one year trying to date her, she refused cos she wasn't interested in dating him. They are happily married with kids now.

There's something alluring about women who knows exactly what they want and ain't afraid to go after it!

Reminds me of a girl who did all the usual shakara before releasing her contact details, sad thing was i had long lost interest. Was only going through the motion cos i hate leaving things unfinished.

Well i never bothered to call and after waiting endlessly, she now inquired why i collected her number without calling.

with a straight face i told her "Oh sorry i'm collecting random numbers to sell on the internet for advert purpose, Never meant to call"

She stalked off angrily grin

Now she's blinding me with green light but once a girl starts forming all that crap, i'm done.

Slept with my current girlfriend a day after i met her, No forming or whatever cos she's straightforward with an amazing personality. The issue of being cheap didn't come up cos she knows what she's worth, carries herself well & knows her dignity does not lie between her legs.

You'd have to be off your mind to see/interact with her and think her cheap. Infact i still believe i don't deserve her & that it's all a dream, Cant see myself with any other lady.

Hoping to seal the deal next year! Planning the white wedding to coincide with her birthday (she doesn't know all this yet) cool

Not all guys have time for those silly/childish games, i only have pity for the matured ladies who wont act their age but would rather go about playing cat & mouse game. No time!

Health / What Happens To Our Body After Drinking Coca Cola? by Ajekpako(m): 4:49pm On Oct 02, 2013
Have you ever wondered what exactly Coca Cola is?

After 10 minutes: Ten tea spoons of sugar contained in a glass of Cola, cause devastating “strike” on the organism and the only cause, by reason of not vomiting, is the phosphoric acid which inhibits the action of sugar.

After 20 minutes: A leap of insulin levels in bloodstream occurs. The liver converts all the sugar into fat.

After 40 minutes: Ingestion of caffeine is finally completed. The eye pupils are expanding. Blood pressure rises, because the liver disposes more sugar into bloodstream. The adenosine receptors get blocked, thereby preventing drowsiness.

After 45 minutes: Body raises production of dopamine hormone, which stimulates the brain pleasure center. Heroin has the same principle of operation.

After 1 hour: Phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in the gastrointestinal tract, which supercharges metabolism. Releasing of calcium through urine also rises.

After more than 1 hour: Diuretic effect of the drink enters in “the game”. The calcium, magnesium and zinc are removed out of the organism, which are a part of our bones, as well as sodium. At this time we have already become irritable or subdued. The whole quantity of water, contained in a coca cola, is removed by the urine.

What Happens To Our Body After Drinking Coca Cola?Actually, when having a cold bottle of Coke and enjoying its undeniable freshness, do we know what chemical “cocktail” we pour into our throats?

The active ingredient of Coca-Cola is orthophosphoric acid. Due to its high acidity, cisterns used for transporting of the concentrate have to be equipped with special reservoirs designed for highly corrosive materials.

Let's have a look at “the anatomy” of one of the most advertised products of “Coca-Cola Co.” – Coca-Cola Light without caffeine. This drink contains Aqua Carbonated, E150D, E952, E951, E338, E330, Aromas, E211.

Aqua Carbonated – this is sparkling water. It stirs gastric secretion, increases the acidity of the gastric juice and provokes flatulency – plenty evolution of gases. Furthermore, spring water is not used, but is used regular filtered water.

E150D – food coloring, obtained through the processing of sugar at specified temperatures, with or without addition of chemical reagents. In the case with coca-cola, ammonium sulfate is added.

E952 – Sodium Cyclamate is a sugar substitute. Cyclamate is a synthetic chemical, has sweet taste, which is 200 times sweeter than sugar, and is used as an artificial sweetener. In 1969 it was banned by FDA, since it as well as saccharin and aspartame, caused cancer in rats' urinary bladder. In 1975, prohibition seized also Japan, South Korea and Singapore. In 1979, WHO (World Health Organization), “who knows why?” rehabilitated cyclamates and recognizing them as safe.

E950 – Acesulfame Potassium. 200 times sweeter than sugar, containing methyl ether, where it aggravates the operation of the cardiovascular system. Likewise, it contains asparaginic acid which can also cause excitant effect on our nervous system and in time it can lead to addiction. Acesulfame is badly dissolved and is not recommended for use by children and pregnant women.

E951 – Aspartame. A sugar substitute for diabetics and is chemically unstable: at elevated temperature it breaks down into methanol and phenylalanine. Methanol is very dangerous: 5-10ml can cause destruction of the optic nerve and irreversible blindness. In warm soft drinks, aspartame transforms into formaldehyde which is very strong carcinogen. Some number of cases with aspartame poisoning include: unconsciousness, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, weight gain, irritability, anxiety, memory loss, blurry vision, fainting, joint pains, depression, fertility, hearing loss and etc. Aspartame can also provoke the following diseases: brain tumors, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), epilepsy, Graves' disease, chronic fatigue, Alzheimer's, diabetes, mental deficiency and tuberculosis.

E338 – Orthophosphoric Acid. This can cause irritation of skin and eyes. It is used for production of phosphoric acid salts of ammonia, sodium, calcium, aluminum and also in organic synthesis for production of charcoal and film tapes, for production of refractory materials, ceramics, glass, fertilizers, synthetic detergents, medicine, metalworking, and textile and oil industries. Food orthophosphoric acid is used in the production of carbonated water and for preparation of ingredients in pastry. It is known that orthophosphoric acid interfere with the absorption of calcium and iron from the body, which can cause weakening of bones and osteoporosis. Other side effects are thirst and skin rashes.

E330 – Citric Acid. It is widely spread in nature and is used in pharmaceutical and food industries. Salts of citric acid (citrates) are used in food industry as acids, preservatives, stabilizers, and in medical fields – for preserving blood.

Aromas – unknown aromatic additives

E211 – Sodium Benzoate. It is used in production of some food products, as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. These products refer to jams, fruit juices and fruit yoghurts. It's not recommended for use by asthmatics and people who are sensitive to aspirin. A study conducted by Peter Piper at the Sheffield University in Britain, found that this compound causes significant damage to DNA. According to his words, sodium benzoate which is an active component in preservatives doesn't destroy DNA, but deactivating it. This can lead to cirrhosis and degenerative diseases like Parkinson's disease.

So, what turns out? Well, it turns out that “the secret recipe” of coca-cola is just one advertising play. What kind of secret may be there, when it's well known to us that this is a weak solution of cocaine with preservatives, colorants, stabilizers and etc. I.e., this is legalized cocaine addiction plus pure poison. Diet Coke is even worse, because the aspartame in it, replaces sugar, becoming pure neurotoxic poison.

So, if you can't imagine a life without coca-cola, take advantage of the following recommendations:

- Many distributors of coca-cola in U.S use this drink for cleaning their truck engines.
- Many police officers in U.S have bottles of coca-cola in their cars and when a car accident happens, they wash the blood out of the road with it.
- Coca-Cola is a great tool for removing rusty stains on chrome surfaces of cars. To remove corrosion from car battery, pour it with Coke and the corrosion will disappear.
- To unscrew a rusty screw, dip a cloth in coca-cola and wrap around it for several minutes.
- To clean stains from clothes – pour coca-cola on dirty clothes, add washing powder and run the washing machine as usual. You will be surprised of the results.
- In India, some farmers use coca-cola instead of pesticides for pest extermination, because it's cheaper and the effect is completely satisfying.

So, coca-cola undeniably is a very useful product. The key is to be used for intended purposes, but not for drinking!

manny4life: This is ridiculous, I think registration and operation aren't differentiated. There's a limitation for how long a "visiting" aircraft is allowed to stay and once the limitation expire, they pay FEES. .

its a tricky one as all they have to do to evade the the time limit of a visiting aircraft is fly it to Ghana and back which is what they've been doing all along.

Don't blame them, doing business in Nigeria isn't exactly a walk in the park.
Computers / TECH SUPPORT JOKES TO EASE OFF THE PRESSURE AT WORK! by Ajekpako(m): 3:59pm On Sep 05, 2013
Got a call from a woman said that her laser printer was having problems, the bottom half of her printed sheets were coming out blurry. It seemed strange that the printer was smearing only the bottom half. I walked her through the basics, then went over and printed out a test sheet. It printed fine. I asked her to print a sheet, so she sent a job to the printer. As the paper started coming out, she yanked it out and showed it to me. I told her to wait until the paper came out on its own. Problem solved.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had been doing Tech Support for Hewlett-Packard's DeskJet division for about a month when I had a customer call with a problem I just couldn't solve. She could not print yellow. All the other colors would print fine, which truly baffled me because the only true colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow. For instance, green is a combination of cyan and yellow, but green printed fine. Every color of the rainbow printed fine except for yellow. I had the customer change ink cartridges. I had the customer delete and reinstall the drivers. Nothing worked. I asked my coworkers for help; they offered no new ideas. After over two hours of troubleshooting, I was about to tell the customer to send the printer in to us for repair when she asked quietly, "Should I try printing on a piece of white paper instead of this yellow paper?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A man attempting to set up his new printer called the printer's tech support number, complaining about the error message: "Can't find the printer." On the phone, the man said he even held the printer up in front of the screen, but the computer still couldn't find it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And another user was all confused about why the cursor always moved in the opposite direction from the movement of the mouse. She also complained that the buttons were difficult to depress. She was very embarrassed when we asked her to rotate the mouse so the tail pointed away from her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For a computer programming class, I sat directly across from someone, and our computers were facing away from each other. A few minutes into the class, she got up to leave the room. I reached between our computers and switched the inputs for the keyboards. She came back and started typing and immediately got a distressed look on her face. She called the tutor over and explained that no matter what she typed, nothing would happen. The tutor tried everything. By this time I was hiding behind my monitor and quaking red-faced.
I typed, "Leave me alone!" They both jumped back as this appeared on their screen.
"What the..." the tutor said.
I typed, "I said leave me alone!"
The kid got real upset. "I didn't do anything to it, I swear!"
It was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud. The conversation between them and HAL 2000 went on for an amazing five minutes.
Me: "Don't touch me!"
Her: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hit your keys that hard."
Me: "Who do you think you are anyway?!"
Etc.
Finally, I couldn't contain myself any longer, and fell out of my chair laughing. After they had realized what I had done, they both turned beet red. Funny, I never got more than a C- in that class.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This guy calls in to complain that he gets an "Access Denied" message every time he logs in. It turned out he was typing his username and password in capital letters.
Tech Support: "OK, let's try once more, but use lower case letters."
Customer: "Uh, I only have capital letters on my keyboard."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Email from a friend:
"CanYouFixTheSpaceBarOnMyKeyboard?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My friend was on duty in the main lab on a quiet afternoon. He noticed a young woman sitting in front of one of the workstations with her arms crossed across her chest, staring at the screen. After about 15 minutes he noticed that she was still in the same position, only now she was impatiently tapping her foot.
He asked if she needed help and she replied, "It's about time! I pressed the F1 button over twenty minutes ago!"
