In a recent interview with Saturday Sun, when asked about sex before marriage, Jodie had a lot to say about remaining a virgin.

‘The question of sex and virginity is a private one…Now – to the crux, there are many people out there who don’t know who they are or where they are going. Forget the media hype and paparazzi: if people would truthfully bare their inner thoughts, no one wants to stay with someone who is ‘the national cake,’ she said. Speaking even further, she added:

‘Forget all that ‘new age’ or ‘modern’ talk on sex and virginity. It may look ‘cool’ to be a sexually loose person on Television or magazines, but in real life, people actually respect those who have self control. After a study claimed couples who went to bed starkers are more likely to stay together, we look at other ‘magic formulas’ for a lasting relationship

They say the couple who play together, stay together but now researchers say the best way to keep a happy marriage is to sleep Unclad.

A recent study of more than 1,000 Britons found 57% of those who go to bed starkers said they were happy in their relationship compared to 48% who wore pyjamas.

“Bedding can feel extremely soft against the skin, encouraging openness and intimacy between couples and ultimately increasing happiness,” says Stephanie Thiers-Ratcliffe, who worked on the poll.

And they’re not the only ones who think they have the recipe for lasting and happy marriage. From separate beds and bathrooms to arguing and sex, everyone has their own theory…

Double dating
It seems double dating could equal double the happiness after scientists found the key to a long and happy marriage is having another couple to share it with.

It certainly worked for the Goods and Leadbetters in 70s TV hit The Good Life, starring Richard Briers, Felicity Kendal, Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington.

Psychologists at the University of Maryland, in the US, found double dating helps couples interact and even learn more about themselves. Study chief Professor Geoffrey Greif said: “Couples with couple friends seem to have happier relationships and longer and happier marriages.”

But double dating does have its perils. Professor Greif added: “We interviewed a few people where couple friends ended up having an affair.”

Separate bathrooms
Actress Joan Collins has been married five times so she’s something on an expert on the subject.

The 81-year-old says: “There are rules for living with Joan Collins, but I’m sure there are rules for living with anyone. We’re never in the bathroom together. In fact, I think it’s important to have separate bathrooms.”

And she also advises couples not to interfere with each other’s lives. On fifth husband Percy Gibson, she says: “He never interferes with my social calendar. I never interfere with his financial work. I occasionally give him advice on how he looks, but he’s the least vain man I’ve ever known.”

What with duvet hogging and snoring, it’s no surprise sleeping in separate beds is key to a good night’s sleep but it could also work wonders on your marriage.

Dr Neil Stanley, who runs a sleep laboratory at the University of Surrey, says: “We’ve been sold a myth that we have to share a bed or else our marriage is doomed. But people who are more tired are more miserable and have a higher rate of divorce.”

Movie director Tim Burton and his actress wife Helena Bonham Carter are among the one in ten British couples who don’t sleep in the same bed. The famous couple even live in separate adjoining houses because Burton is said to snore.

For my Naira account, it will take serious work as I have a lot of inward and outward flow, Monthly contributions, some personal business deals like web design, advertising, paying for a land mortgage, I sold my old car and bought my new car e.t.c.

I need your advise,

When I applied for a study visit to the UK, I used the instructions on the below link as a guide for supporting documents, and I tried my best to be as detailed as possible, I was refused at the end. This is my second refusal, the first one was in February, a business visit in the Uk for the company I was working for back then.

I provided three personal bank accounts which I've been running for over three years (NGN, USD and EUR). I produced print outs from my Google Adsense publisher account which reflects all my publisher earnings to match the deposits made in my bank account - a balance of 10,945 Euros. I also provided my employment status, I recently joined Vserv and my monthly salary is 3,400 USD excluding reimbursements. I also presented my NGN account with a total of 336,215 NGN which is where majority of my account activities takes place. I also provided proof that before I joined Vserv, I was working with Ad Dynamo since January 15, 2013 and I was earning 250,000 NGN, excluding sales commission.

I thought with this, I've been able to prove that I have more than enough to support a one week trip and that I have reasons to come back to my country. I do not intend to stay an extra working day as I'm currently employed. My reasons for applying for the "Digital marketing and social media" executive program at LSBF (London School of Business and Finance) was because I needed to add more knowledge to my experience and the course was just perfect for my career. I do not intend to stay in the UK.

I remember noting that it was mentioned on the document guideline that - you shouldn’t pay for accommodation or travel until you get your visa. I had booked for 7 nights at Hotel Meridiana, Camden, London via booking.com and I was emailed that "Thanks, Tunde! Your reservation is now confirmed". Before I registered, I was not told that I will be charged for the booking bearing in mind that the instruction says that I shouldn't pay for accommodation until I get my visa. it was after I submitted my documents I noticed that booking.com tried to charge my account and since my card is tied to my GT Bank current account, it wasn't automatically approved. I had planned to get my visa before re-authorizing that transaction but in the end, it was one of the reasons I got denied.

Please advise on the best course of action for me to take.

I've emailed LSBF my visa application progress that there may be a need to defer my admission to the next intake so on Friday, 7th of November 2014, my admission has been deferred to March 2015. I would still love to go for the course in March but I just don't want another refusal strike

My 2007 camry LE is 11 months now and it's still a joy to behold. the parts are readily available and I haven't had cause to change much except brake pads and stabiliser linkages. maintenance cost is moderate. Whether it's LE, SE or even XLE, just make sure you do your home work well before surrendering your cash, cos owning a car is enough liability, talk more of getting a bad one... Good luck!
