ElPhoche: Your analogy of a carpenter is absolute trash. Lemme tell you, do you know the countless times I have donated blood for my patients right from student days (FYI, I am a voluntary and regular blood donor), how many times I have had to help pay for a patient drugs or investigations? You breath trash from your high moral throne and think that I/we don't go out of our way to help people. Even if some don't, I do. I have countless patients that I have treated who still contact me uptill today, to just greet. I bet you, if an Ebola person enters your street, you would not come outside for one month, but we were expected to work without a good protective kit during the Lassa fever. We were given just an just facemasks AND WE WORKED. I watched a colleague die right in my face of Lassa, and you are there telling me rubbish about a Carpenter sawing off his hand. You stand there and talk rubbish. Is it when I die and after having put my life on the line for so long that you would be happy? Do you think I don't have parents, brothers and sister and relatives who depend on me? Lemme tell you, HUMANITARIAN duty does not put food on the table, neither does it pay for your children's school fees. I go out of my way to ensure that I render my best to people who I have been privileged to attend to, but don't think at the end of the day, that I don't have needs to meet. Chairman, leave these guys o jare. That was how one guy was arguing on a thread that living as a bank manager in Nigeria is better than doing menial jobs in US. People just bring out crazily insane topics this days. They think its only money they've gone abroad to earn. what about d serene environment, availability of basic amenities, economic stability, security. etc |

Pidgin2: Everything about them is money money money, its a shame that Nigerian doctors are not taught to have reguard for human life I don't know why you've been ranting here. Take it or leave it, the profession is indisputably inevitable. Ur resentment is just uncalled for. Do u know how much d senators are making on sitting down, debating and opposing? Diseases are either infectious or noninfectious. Noninfectious can be through accident, malnutrition, all these categories of diseases can be prevented if there are good roads, proper living standards, which our leaders are to provide. I am not a medical student, but a final yr student(animal science) and believe me m nursing my dreams to jet out of this country during NYSC for Msc and better standard of living. Ur bitterness towards these guys might be as a result of loosing a loved one through them. If this is true, m sorry for ur loss. if not congrats. I lost a loved one at UCH sometimes ago. The Doc in charge is a young bright man. He tried everything but no proper diagnosis at d right time, and d way d system works in d hospital doesn't guarantee quick treatment. They are not God, but they do their best to save patients, even though it might not be easy, and in conducive procedure. Saving is 50:50, and d percentage of ppl that are being saved/treated in d hospitals is still high. If u make it out of d sickness, thank ur God. Imagine ppl dying of snake bite, cos of scarcity of anti venom drugs in d society. Is it d Doc that will buy such drugs for d govt, or he will suck out d venom with mouth out if the patients blood stream? please stop being ridiculous, and let's face reality. lastly, I know of friends studying Vet medicine, I know how challenging and exhausting it is to study d course. conversely, d pay abroad is much more better than Nigeria. how much more should medicine be? Docs in d house, I hail u oo jare... My family Doc(young and bright) told me he knows how much his colleagues (resident docs) in Canada, US etc while he is here making peanuts. If ur jealousy won't make u see things d way dey truly are, Abeg go do jamb, apply to UI for medicine.. I drop my pen here |

How exactly did Chisom serve her the water, that made her say that? If she had said "please, why didn't you put the water in a glass cup," or "can you please pour the water in a bigger cup for me?" it might have been clearer. Just my 2 cents. I'm new on this thread. Please I need information as regards to graduate studies in Germany for fall, 2018.
I graduated with a cgpa of 4.80 Agricultural Economics and Extension in 2016, currently doing NYSC and rounding up in December, 2017.
Any idea of school in Germany that offers full scholarship ? Do I need to write any English proficiency exam to be accepted? Any choice of school that offer such and what's the admission application like?
I would be glad if someone can direct me on the forum.
Many thanks bro's u don reach here. saw u on d Canada thread. U nd this ur 4.8 thingy. Anyway u r now on d best path. wishing u best of luck bro. shalom |

jnyuwa02: First of all congrats over your admission and full scholarship. I have full scholarship from the University of Saskatchewan too. It's like they have much money to give out to international students.
All jokes aside, you do not need to worry about any gaps in your education as long as you explain what you were up to in those time gaps. I observed they are very keen on gaps, I had a gap of two months from when I returned back to Nigeria and did nothing, but just chilling and catching up on family life. The VAC staff would tolerate no gaps left blank and made me refill my form twice accounting for those gaps and what I was doing. That is one of the benefits of doing paperoute than online application. You get guidance, while online there is no guidance, you are left susceptible to your own whims and caprice.
A second masters instead of a PHD always brings concern about purpose of study to the VOs. But I am confident that as a fully funded prospective student, you can demonstrate to the VO your passion for studies and what made you choose a second masters instead of PHD. Do not try to feign an excuse, come out clean. Tell them why you have chosen the field of study, why in Canada and how what you are studying will be an investment in the future of our country. Abeg Sir, can I have ur email? want to ask some questions. Thanks |

Secondly, what d tofel for? U can get an exemption of English language from ur school just to cut cost. Unless ur preferred uni insist on it.
Wish u lucky in ur dream bro. Thanks bro. the TOEFL is just to have more chances of gaining admission. I know about d exemption letter.. |

salford: Well. You can only work 20hrs per week on a student visa while schooling. You can work full time for around 4months in a year when schools are on summer break. When you complete say your masters, you could get a 3 year post graduate work permit which enables you to work full time for 3 years. Hopefully, before the end of year 3, you might qualify to apply for permanent residence through the pnp or federal immigration programs. can I apply for work visa first, to work and save money then apply for work and study visa for MSC in Canada? cos my dad can't afford paying that kind of exorbitant school fees |

Streamsyjd: i will strongly advice you to go for your msc in canada. my husband now, my boyfriend then had this same opportunity and i supported him in 2015, that was like 2 years of relationship. of course i had a mixed feeling cos you never know what will happen but we ddnt do anything like introduction cos of uncertainty though we were committed. he came back for the wedding in 2016 and he applied for me spousal open work permit. infact they gave me they my visa four month to the expiry of his visa. if we got married before he left i would have joined him probably last year. As MSC student, you have automatic 3 years work permit once the school give you a letter you have completed your degree, after one year of working you can apply for permanent residence. i got to canada in May 2017 and i am working at the moment. please did you just say you are still considering staying in Nigeria. you wont understand until you get here! even your bosses will not think about this twice! please I'm planning to come to Canada after my degree to work and then do post graduate studies , how feasible is this? Thanks |

IlekeHD: This is so dumb, but watch Nigerians celebrate this ediocy.
1. Did Satan approach Eve for sexual satisfaction?
2. Does he mean that any man that approaches another for manipulative purposes is homosexual?
3. Was Adam homosexual?
4. The Bible was written by King James and his cronies.
5. Christianity is not an African religion.
This man should invest his energy on developing African economically.
@the miscreants quoting me, do you know your fore father's gods? Your native religion? Did Jesus ever step into Nigeria? Did your forefathers record any disciples in Africa? So finally the crusaders came with their guns and bible to tell you about this "God" while they took the rich resources in your land. This is not a Christian |

Bomoobacom: the exorbitant fee has caused most people living around the school to move into town, when calculated the hostel fee around the school is much more than living in town and also paying T.fare. Although where you live in town determines the amnt you spend on t.fare. Oke-Oyo, Gedu, Odeta are still ok cos you wont be the only one coming so it also reduces the T.fare. Is it everytime u come to skul with everyone? When osunkeye or akinduro tells u to come by 7 will u be searching for sumone whom u can come with? Or can u trek to skul at that tym? When u a little bit broke is it easy to trek to school from town, I even heard that they r bringing d house rent down but what matters most is what u like none of it is bad |
