For those who recently did passport submission at VFS, what other documents are required asides PPR letter & Passport.

Note that biometric is still valid based on previous application and as such, no BVL was issued.

Is Walk-in still allowed or i have to book an appointment for submission?

We stated 4k CAD (father and mothers' financial statements were submitted).

I used the new portal (I have always used the new portal).

TRV for my baby. (Father and mother have TRV- before he was born).

Application submission: August 23rd, 2025
Biometrics: Not applicable
PPR: September 24th, 2025
Validity: expiration of passport.

First application in July was refused for lack of assets and financial capability (must be AI- because I answered 0 CAD in how much you are spending personally for the trip).

Do you mean after the biometrics or before?

After biometrics.
I wanted to confirm if my wife was given the appropriate sticker.
I reached out (email) to VAC and they explained. According to them, it’s a small rectangular sticker attached to one’s passport biodata page (photocopy) after biometrics. My wife has the sticker.

Congratulations! You can submit your passport for the visa in Nigeria. I applied while in the U.S, and I got PPR while in (Lagos) Nigeria. I sent my passport and necessary docs, including transmission payment, to Abuja via DHL (return service), and I got my passport back in a few days.

This is just a language institute, my cousins take Chinese classes there while also studying for their bachelor's degrees at Unizik. In today's world, being multi lingual is so important especially for careers in commerce and journalism. What you're seeing is a sendoff ceremony so the students were making cultural displays of the Chinese people and language. I wonder what's wrong with that.

God bless you abundantly oo. It's like offering German or French as elective courses in the University. Ignorance is truly a disease!!! The benefit in the program is immense. Once, these students excel in their HSK exams, they can easily go to China on scholarship for further programs. There are Confucius institutes and exchange programs in Australia, South Africa and Europe. Our people just jump in to issues without understanding subject matter.

Bottom line is that he was infected with the virus and also infectious, it is likely he infected other persons with the virus and not his underlying ailments; some who get infected may not have any underlying issues or may be managing them successfully until this new invasive infection aggravates their existing issues and knocks them down or out! No need to downplay the severity of this virus...
