There was a time when those who are now Alshabaaab ran the government and were called the Islamic courts, their agenda is no different than the one being pursued by the Somali government.


If you look at the current Somali governments policies such as introducing Arabic as a second official language, signing deals with egypt for military partnership, receiving aid and infrastructure help form Turkey, and sending thousands of young Somalis who will be future leaders into Arab Universities, all this points the current governments long term plan, which it would not put into place without support from the people.

Sit down, and worry about jungle politics in Ebola ridden Bantu countries.

Nope. The current Somali Government owes the AMISOM troops a huge debt of gratitude. Face facts Al-Shabaab and the Somali government don't have the same agenda. They don't like each other and they both want each other dead. End of story!

Alshabaab and The Government has the same agenda. They want all Somalis to be in the same country meaning they want Ogadenia and Northern Kenya. They want closer ties to Muslim countries, and less ties to AU. This is a fact as anyone will tell you. The only difference is the current government has people who have suits instead of Islamic attire. It's called Somali nationalism, the same policies were pursued by even the uber liberal military government that held power from 1969-1991 who went to war with Ethiopia to get Ogadenia.

There are 3 types of Somalis.

1. Religious Somalis, who would like closer ties to the Middle East and to be away from the West. These people hate African Union and non Muslims. They believe that it is the duty of Somalis to spread Islam and take Ethiopia and Kenya.

2. Liberal Somalis who are Nationalistic. These Somalis too dislike Bantus and like me understand the uniqueness of Somalis in Africa and want nothing to do with Niggggggggers. We would like to use our strategic location to benefit us while getting as much allies against Ethiopia and Kenya so those lands can become par of Somalia once again.

3. Traditional Somalis who are loyal to their clan. These are the most racist, and only care about being Somali, Muslim, and their tribe. Like all Somalis they would never want Somalia to have any Bantu. These are our rednecks as the Americans say.


At the end of the Day, All Somalis have the same goals. And all Somalis dislike Bantus weather for religious reasons, or simply cause of political reasons.

Amisom came to somalia in 2006 not the 1990's. Somalis have been doing well for thousands of years. And there were turks and Arabs in Somalia doing charity work for hundreds of years including 1990's.

History has been written. It will only play out. Every Somali is extremely upset that Amisom Niggggggers are in Somalia, even the government hates it.


Somalia's history and fate is tied with Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa and has been for thousands of years way before Bantus came out of the jungle to be enslaved by Whites.

On a side note. When Somalis were lined up with horses and soldiers like a professional standing military who went up against and defeated Ethiopia and Portugal combined, Bantus were being arrested in their own country and being shipped off on boats as slaves.

You should stick to facts. Your own article states that this new state is autonomous, just like Puntland and Somaliland. The only reason why the government is 'bitching' is because Kenya has troops in that state and gives the appearance of undue influence. Regardless that region is the area my mom hails from and her clans supports that region becoming a state so that it can collect revenue and build infrastructure rather than waiting on Mogadishu for everything.

What you fail to realize is the North Region of Kenya is Somali and the same clans that live in the south of Somalia live in Northern Kenya. Its the other way around, Somalis are trying to take Kenya's norther region rather than Kenya taking Somalia's southern region.

^ this slowpoke doesnt know that Somalia is made up of several states, the south has been one state but the current president in somalia was there to be several states in the south. The president was elected with the purpose to federate the country into states so that each region could function without the capital's help. But they are still part of Somalia.


Before 1991, Somalia had a centrally controlled government where all the power was in mogadishu, so now the states get some power. Its a system based on the USA model.


Like your own article states, those regions are autonomous just like states within the USA. I support this system, because it means if there is a problem in Mogadishu then the rest of the country can continue to function. This is the main reason why Somaliland and Puntland, the only states in Somalia before 2014, had semblance of peace and order for the past 23 years while The south was in chaos.
