In any case, 'in the middle' does not contradict my 'continuum' point of view...if you understand what I was trying to say.

If I say Negroid-Cushitic(Aethiopid)-Caucasoid form a continuum, what I mean is Cushitic kind of is a 'middle' or 'intermediate look in a continuum of looks, without neccessarily being a mixture of Negroid and Caucasoid.
