Before one goes to any hospital (in Nigeria or abroad) for check up, it means they are sickly. The presence of a hospital will not make you not sick. Obasanjo appears to be growing old in good health.
you don't have to be sick to visit hospitals, regular check up is a normal process in western countries, especially when you are over 50,their are special insurance that cater only 50 yrs plus, the reason is that in a certain age you need a regular check ups mostly for those that smoke or drink when they were younger,i have a friend his dad had a stroke in Nigeria and the doctors were treating it as cancer to the point that this the man cant talk or move anymore,A big man too,we advised him to fly him to London ASAP.

Do you know that when they arrived in heath-row airport, he has to carry the man in his back as they were coming out from the airport,he was rush straight to a private hospital in BUSHY did a scan in his head and the doctors rushed him in the theater cut his  head open and suck out the blood clout in his head. that was it,they said if he remain one more week in Nigeria he will die.

before they went back the man was walking talking again, some times is stress that trigger strokes.

I understand what you mean but how would an improved health sector make him not be ill? The man is getting old and with that comes all sorts of poor health issues. If we have good hospitals in Nigeria, he will still have to go to them ''every 3 months for treatment''.
hw old is IBB?compare to OBJ,if the hospitals were there since early 90s, he will be going there for regular check up,so they can dictate any organ failure in early stage b/4 it get worst,i have seen old white men/women in their 90s going for shoppings, holidays and all that cos of regular check ups they live longer.

PoliticsRe: Ibb's Health Troubles North by ak47mann(m): 8:17pm On Dec 20, 2011
they should have improved the health sector when they have the chance, looting and stashing away in foreign accounts is not a clever thing, and IBB was the spare head of corruption in Nigeria, and now he has to fly to abroad every 3 months for treatment ,sad really,
greed is a bad thing,

Yep!! It is working!!! Somehow, they never knew that the supplies they got would spill their blood!! More in the works.
The benefit of this strategy is that it sows seeds of mistrust between the terrorist and their suppliers.
When next someone signs up for Bombmaking 101, he knows he is not likely to come out alive.

It's called intelligence peeps!! The Mossad is here!!

PoliticsChristmas: Traffic Builds Up On Niger Bridge: by ak47mann(op): 5:11pm On Dec 20, 2011
Asaba—WITH few days to Christmas, gridlock is gradually building up at the Niger Bridge as traffic on Asaba-Benin highway increases by the day.

Traders making last minute shopping at the popular Onitsha market and holiday makers are having hectic time passing through the bridge, although men of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, have increased their patrol.

A visit there yesterday showed that the snail movement on the bridge was compounded by police check points at both the Asaba and Onitsha ends of the bridge.

The Federal Government had on August 3, 2005, awarded a contract for the rehabilitation of the bridge at a cost of N2.4 billion, while former President Olusegun Obasanjo shortly before leaving office, flagged off N58.6bn Second Niger Bridge.

Enugu still remains the most liveable city in Igboland followed by Owerri and probably Asaba. Even port-hacourt is not that liveable. It's unfortunate that someone like Chiono who's known for his anti-Anambra remarks, who, instead of burying his head in shame because of what Anambra has become despite that high level of human and natural resources at it's disposal is taking jabs at Enugu, the most forward looking city in the east. Despite the fact that just about every important Igbo personality has a house in Enugu and most of them call Enugu home.

On the other hand, BanditC talks as if it's because of Nkanu people that Enugu is the way it is. Anambra people were integral to the development of the coal city. Anybody that thinks otherwise is just lieing to himself. Enugu is the home for all Igbos and Nigerians at large.

what is this fool talking about?nothing go happen, the governor made a very good decision, what have they done to improve our schools in anambra state?most schools in onicha was build-by missionaries in 1850s,they should mind their business foolish people, those schools will be well looked after by churches, and they are talking about secular states.

Nigeria is not a secular state, some state i cant worship freely or be treated the same as the indigenous, the funds for the maintenance of those schools are already handed over to churches, and is gonna stay that way,

Contrary to what you may believe, Ebonyi bu ''nwene'' and our destiny is tied together more than any other eastern state. They are quite humble too and do not bark like mad dogs over invisible achievements.

PoliticsNigeria’s Domestic Debt Too High — Obi by ak47mann(op): 2:02pm On Dec 18, 2011
The Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has said Nigeria could collapse as a result of the huge domestic debt that government is progressively accumulating.

Obi, who spoke while hosting the National Executive Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Awka on Saturday, is the honorary Special Adviser on Finance to President Goodluck Jonathan.

Although he did not give an idea of how much the domestic debt is, Obi said the situation was alarming.

Nigeria is said to owe an external debt of about $40bn.

He said, "The level of domestic debt is high. Domestic debt is more dangerous than external debt. You owe your own people and they see you every day. That means they can take their frustrations on you."

Obi, who boasted that his government had been able to run for five years without taking a loan, warned against the tendency of borrowing money and raising of bonds to support budgets by some state governors.

He said, "Each time they issue bonds to support a budget, they are starting a crisis. You cannot borrow money to fund consumption. Where are they going to raise the money to pay back the loan?

"When you increase the cost of governance, you increase the size of greed. When you raise the cost of governance, people in government will become lazy because they are looking at money, not service. When the money is not there they won’t be able to work."

He recalled how he had to borrow five bullet-proof cars from Delta State free of charge when the President visited Anambra State recently to save the state the millions of naira that it would have cost to buy the cars.

Also speaking at the event, the President of the NUJ, Mr. Mohammed Garba, urged the governor to help build a befitting press centre for journalists in the state, while the Vice-President, South East, Mr. Ambrose Nwachukwu, asked the governor to prevail on his colleagues in the zone to improve on the conditions of service of journalists in their employ.

When i send goods to Nigeria, after i cleared my container from Lagos port i take it straight to oladikpo, pay for space to off load my goods, there is one boy from enugu state call nnamdi, he was the one that market my goods for me i stand their with him and watch how he sold the goods and what he makes on each kits is almost the same profit i was making and i am the importer, everthing went well and other traders were telling me what to buy for next consignment,  what i did was i meet some big top shooters in the market they gave me list of what they sell and how much they will buy from me.

When i went back to abroad i did more resarch on the products,i end up purchasing those products the traders want,as am buying it am calling them to tell them what am purchasing for them and i bumped up the price and for my surprise they agree on the price.

When my goods arrived my boy nnamdi wasn't happy cos the product is not his line and i said to him look is business, i didn't travel to abroad to purchase these goods for you,we are not in business partnership.I then asked him how many times i called you from oversea and ask you about some product for you to simple do resarch for me end of the day you are the one that will sell it,but you never gave me a positive answer.

I then travel to onicha meet one of my old friend he runs a big merchandise, i told him what am selling and all that, and the price  i was shocked cos it-was like extra 50% profit margin from Lagos guys, i now switch to him, for my surprise when my next consignment came to Nigeria i invited him to Lagos as i was off loading those marketers were coming one by one pricing my goods i ignored eveyrboby finish off loading, then i called those top shooters in oladikpo and i ask them what are you paying for this item? they will tell me their price and my man was sitting their quietly and i ask him his own price his price is like 50 percent profit extra from what the oladikpo guys were pricing.

Then i turn to oladikpo guys and tell them look this other guy is taking the whole thing, they were angry one of them then asked me, were is these guy from?i said onitsha they all kept quiet.

since then, for the past 2yrs my consignment goes straight to onitsha cool
