As for graphics, you have what you need, talking in terms of Photoshop and Corel. But for web graphics you need a whole lot more, ranging from Adobe Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash or Swishmax. Then you also need the coding aspects to create real websites HTML, CSS, JavaScript and what have you. There are loadz of resources online that might be helpful to you. Check the official World Wide Web consortium page at www.w3schools.com, you can also check tizag.com, sixrevisions.com or check out my page for advise and some tuts at www.blog.araonline.com ...Goodluck to you.

ADOBE FIREWORKS, formerly MACROMEDIA FIREWORKS, is one powerful tool for website prototyping, logo creation and image editing. As a web developer, this, I'd say is my best application so far ( am shy to say this though). So here I want us to discuss this strengths and weaknesses of this application. Which do you prefer? FIREWORKS, PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR or errrmm...(clears throat)COREL DRAW ...And ofcourse, Tutorials, Cheat sheets, and Free resources for users.

No student??

Akay_47's here! who needs help?

Table of contents: Html, Dreamweaver, CSS bla bla bla, lemme not bother you with boring unimportant details. Let's get straight on shall we??,

I'm Akay47, a young Nigerian, who just wants to set things straight for his future. Then I discovered the internet and the huge potential in it. Then I got curious, confused, challenged and frustrated. The same things that almost everyone experienced or is experiencing. CURIOUS: I wondered what's making this Internet such a huge thing that everyone is talking about?? Etc. CONFUSED: I couldn't figure out what all the sanity in all those terms, HTML, Pdf, Joomla, w3schools, protocol, domain name, Ip, like What the f*ck! Wtf are you talking about??!!, CHALLENGED: But there are people, nigerians like me who understand this sh*ts. How did they manage?? How did one Seun Osewa managed to create the 'World Famous Nairaland.com'? Then I've got to know about these things, after all 'If I can dream it, then I can do it' (Milo Advert), So that's how journey started, After a lot of free blog creations, tons of sign ups, registration of unlimited emails, bravenet, freewebs, etc I struck gold! I joined Nairaland.com. So that's how I started my web development learning process, That's CHAPTER ONE of this tutorial, Now let's get to business.

As the title above implies, i'm gonna be using my own personal experience as a young net-preneur. I'll share pdfs, software, sites i visited, codes i wrote, and every important stuffs i did to become a 'Web Developer'.

Note also that I'll give you links to download some Very Important files and/or softwares that we might need.
At this junction, i'd like to implore all other gurus to keep check of this post and point out any fault that may arise, after all, nobody is an Island of Wisdom. Learners should also be patient and they should try and indicate any areas that they might not comprehend, so that my self and other pros will try and to them. Thanks. Akay47.

lets join hands to checkmate this menace affecting the NIGERIAN SOCIETY. If this kids are not protected now, they might later constitute nuissance to the society of those that are well brought up cuz thats what the situation is now. The ones that were not well taken care of back then are the political thugs, armed robbers, assasins etc that we have now. So its a task for everybody to join hands to checkmate the menace of child abuse. Report any cases of child abuse around you to CGCI and other appropriate authority. Spreading the news is also vital. Thanks, God bless Nigeria.

The incessant occurrence and increasing number of child abuse cases has assumed unpleasant dimension which should not be under-estimated. This is a reflection of a serious dysfunctional society, one that wastes its future in the hands of neglected children.
The dream of establishment of CGCI was therefore borne out of the founder's passion emancipation, survival and sustainability of the underprivileged, orphans, displaced, disadvantaged and vulnerable children in the society.

DO YOU KNOW THAT:
**Thousands of children are undergoing one form of abuse or another in the country everyday!
**A good number of supposedly 'future leaders' roam about the street homeless!
**Child abuse is an offence punishable under the Child Rights Law in Nigeria.
**Parents who cannot afford to take proper care of their children can give them up for ADOPTION by VOLUNTARY SUBMISSION TO GOVERNMENT. It is not a crime but a worthwhile gesture to better the future of such a child.

STOP CHILD ABUSE!
Report any cases of child abuse to the law enforcement agencies.
Inform CGCI for necessary assistance and mainly to protect the victims and ensure that Justice is done

Goals of CGCI

**Promote and facilitate the creation of enabling environment for emancipation, survival and sustainability of the Orphans and Vulnerable Children's growth and development
**Propagate and protect Child's Rights and its implementation at all levels of the society
**Provide rapid response to abandoned and neglected children
**Facilitate and support Child Adoption process

Yea, it has to be short, and we can decentralize instead of using toroise only, we can develop a story, kinda animal kingdom ΐ.e it'll involve all the animals, buh ofcourse tortoise is gonn be taking active parts cause it seems the african tales use it more

Let's try to get people on board first and let's invite peeps to the topic, itz an interesting one, then we decide what to do. Buh ΐ prefer sumthing really african, like a cartoon of tales of moonlight, sumfin lyk dat, or watcha fink??
