since i finished vice city, my laptop has just become boring. I want to play gta 4 and 5 before 6 comes in 2018 or 2020.. I saw it works on your laptop.

My system is a quad core core i3-4005U @ 1.7Ghz. 4gb ram on a single chip. Vram at 128MB. Im assuming it has an intel HD 4OOO/4400 (it just shows intel hd family when i run dxdiag). Its an HP pavilion 15-n209eia.


will i be able to play the gta 4 and 5?

Do i need to do anything about my vram and directX?

Akbliv010, please, is there a reason you didnt try out those two games?

My laptop only uses a 2nd generation Intel CPU which I class is really under powered to run those titles being they are quite demanding on hardware.

Screen : Check for dead LCD pixels using this link and follow the instructions. It's a red screen and dead pixels will show as black dots- http://www.checkpixels.com/ ( can be used on smartphones too)

Battery: You can create a battery report in Windows by doing the following an example of report below
a. Hit Windows Button + X and select Command Prompt (Admin). This is the quickest way to open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
b. Type in and enter: powercfg /batteryreport ( report saved at C:\Windows\system32\battery-report.html)
c. Open the Battery report HTML file to view it.

Honestly, the low framerate hurts my eyes..it felt like watching micro stutters playing AC-Syndicate.
For many console gamers who haven't experienced high framerates when playing FPS, TPS or RPG, it's difficult to explain it. They just have to see for themselves.
