X6 is a chinco phone too, na your budget go determine.. my friend had maximum 55k for phone he just want 4GB Ram, the rest is nothing to him, just want to move from 2GB ram to 4GB ram Phone and doesn't want to break bank.

I suggested RN5AI, which was brought by noobody, he got to Gsm arena, suggested, similar phone was X6, he saw Jumia ads for 54K 6GB RAM, he declined the offer from noobody, said he wants the X6 regardless of the wait time.

So download the one shown in the pix below (redmi note 5 latest global)

You have no business with redmi note 5a, it's entirely different phone. Better still google those devices

since you claim to be a newbie I would suggest you gain more knowledge about xiaomi bootloader unlock, android root, flashing of custom recovery & ROM, bootlooping, soft & hard brick if it worth it before you decide wether to proceed or not.
because this thing you desire usually come with a price if something goes wrong and it can only be overcome if you have knowledge about it and prepare to face the negative aspect of it not by biting the finger of, had I known rather than taking it in good fate.

I've always against those discouraging people wanting to exploring their device by flashing and tweaking their phone in order to get the best out of it, but i most concede, it's quite annoying to see how people cry/complain over minor issue like bootloop/soft brick when flashing or tweaking which I believe is the most common thing one should be prepare for when you choose to tweak your phone.

I wonder how some will react when they end up with the bad hard brick (no fastboot, no recovery, no bootloader just a black screen)

My advice is, take your time and research about your phone on how to do and how to revive it, incase something goes wrong.

maku una teach folks how to use edl mode unbrick now, this issue is becoming a concern already

guy the procedure is kinda tricky now, u have to open the back cover of the phone in order to boot into edo mode.

Gone are those days when one can easily boot into edl mode through the use of some customize USB cable, adb command or bootloader interface, though then there's nothing like unlocking of bootloader in order to root or flash custom recovery on ur phone.

If u know ur way around u can unbrick xiaomi phone that suffer any form of hard brick

Google is the best place to get solution to whatever situation u found urself (either hard or soft brick) because we've had people all over the world who has either experienced or suffered same fate as u and still get to fix their phone through the help of google

if your phone happens to suffer softbrick, you can get it back working if your bootloader is unlocked. If your bootloader is locked and you brick your phone, it's usually goodbye to the phone.

Request Permission from Xiaomi to Unlock the Bootloader

Sign in with the email address you use on the device( the one that is associated with the mi account be for it got brick) and apply for unlocking http://en.miui.com/unlock

You have to give a reason for requesting to unlock the bootloader.

Tell them exactly what happen to your phone, maybe they might fasten the unlocking permit.

sorry couldn't find a guide that will enable you to boot your device into EDL mode by pressing some combination of buttons on recent xiaomi devices unlike their previous devices which one can easily access EDL mode by pressing combination of buttons ( volume button & power button)

The only way one can boot xiaomi phone into EDL mode is via test point by following the guide below

Instead of you going through all those trouble kindly apply for bootloader unlock to unlock the bootloader and flash new ROM via fastboot mode

If your bootloader is unlock, kindly flash a fastboot ROM to revive your rom

But if your bootloader is lock, you have 2 option;

First option, request for bootloader unlock from mi, if granted, unlock the bootloader (with mi bootloader unlock tool) and flash fastboot ROM via fastboot mode.

Second option, flashing of fastboot ROM via EDL mode

if ur device is whyred (redmi note 5 ai), u can try unofficial lineage 16( by subhrajyoti sen)
Smooth, snappy, good battery backup and cool.

Note: the ROM is base on pie firmware and pie recovery (latest orangefox recovery for pie fw to be precise)

go to the downloads app, then settings, then set to unlimited

Find "Downloads" app in Tools folder -> click on the 3 dots on right upper corner Downloading using mobile data (set the data limit here).

Please how can I stabilize the signal from NIGCOMSAT in Lagos? Quite a number of guys have tried to do if for me to no avail, it will be stabilized for some days and start misbehaving again. It will even go off for days only to show again some other days. I am using a 1m dish. ensure you are hitting maximum signal quality and ensure your dish is firmly install.

Check the dish if its firmly install by moving it left right and up down if it move, meaning you have to retighten it after hitting maximum guality.

You can also check the lnb or replace it with another and check if the signal guality increase compare to the previous lnb.
