The sidechic - Especially as they grow older Will prefer to be a legal 2nd wife, get full benefits of the relationship, As sidechic, she cant even get pregnant openly and have kids for the man even though she is servicing the man, She cant be seen outside with the man. SO she is burning the remaining part of her youth for a man that can discard her at any time without anything to hang onto

The wife - She prefers to be the only legal one for obvious reasons. Though she will prefer the husband not to have a side, but if he has a side, as long as she isn't legalized or have a baby into the mix that will compete for the husbands resources. No woman will want their husband to have a side, never mind marrying legally. They will do anything possible to avoid that

The husband - Gets the best of both world, he gets the benefit from the sidechic and no long term commitment. Your forefathers would have married these sidechics and provided for them long term but nowadays you show up as 1 wife but have multiple woman servicing you

I absolutely recommend over polygamy. If possible, better to even avoid side chicks and stick with OS as a married man.

Side chicks are too much trouble and stress.

I have seen multiple women tolerate polygamy tho. The hard reality is that in Nigeria women don't have that many options so they suck it up.

Also why so many marriages scatter when couples move abroad where women are empowered and don't have to tolerate anything.

True to a large extent.

Compared to knowing the husband has a side chick, polygamy is still a much steeper hill to climb for most Nigerian women. Even for those who are muslims.

Most Nigerian women tolerate their husbands cheating. They don't necessarily like it but they are able to live with it.

Its only on social media I see women who threaten to leave if their husbands cheat. In reality, they almost never leave especially when kids are involved.

Polygamy on the other hand is a different ball game. Except you're very rich or a muslim, most of them will never tolerate polygamy. So if your marriage means anything to you, understand that polygamy will almost certainly destroy it.

Any candidate who promises to bring back subsidy has my vote in 2027.

This was insightful. He pretty much confirmed the fact that drugs transit through Nigeria and then Ghana in his case before the final destination.

According to the NDLEA, the cocaine arrives Nigeria from South America before it gets shipped to UK and Europe.

Nigeria is a transit hub. It appears that its easier to sneak it into Europe from Nigeria than it is from South America.

Before now, July and August were completely booked, but currently, interview slots appear to be available on most working days across both months.

With this development, there may now be a higher possibility that the ban could be lifted before the end of June.

The slots could be opened for non Nigerian nationals residing in Nigeria, people with dual passports or the few visa categories not under ban.

The fact they are consolidating consular offices is sign they expect the footwall at Lagos embassy to remain low. Which means they expect the ban to remain.

The probability of lifting the temporary ban is clear and obvious. Go to US Abuja/Lagos website and click on news . You will discover that both U.S and Nigeria has a very good continuous relationship.

That being said. Nigerians are traveling to and fro right from the beginning of the temporary ban and to be honest without sugar coating i know many i mean many Nigerians who have being going in and out without any issue.

Nigeria is almost a muslim majority country ( i stand to be corrected) and the terrorists are hiding under islam jihad. The United States knows this and what they can do to curb the inflow of Nigerians is to create a psychological fear cum rigorous visa application vetting.

What i mean by the above is that 75% of all the visa applicants are holding back under the fear of they will deny my visa or my mrv would be gone. But the truth is that if you have a genuine reason to travel to the United States your visa would be granted.

We might wait for ever if we are waiting for the announcement day. Schools are giving admission. First bank is selling MRV and the appointment page is open. Let us reason together.

That appears to be the most likely outcome.

I'll put the chances of non immigrant visa ban getting lifted at 40%

Chances of complete lift is near zero.

Nigeria and the US are already working on the presence of radical armed groups, but I have not seen any information on information sharing, and I think that is very important. I hope we can improve information sharing without compromising ourselves as a sovereign nation.

There has to be some form of information sharing for them to work together.

As for overstay rate, I dont think it's much of an issue. Ghana has an even higher overstay rate and is not on the ban list.

There's also one video I saw where Trump acknowledges that smaller universities will suffer without foreign students.

I have to say the situation looks better compared to when I posted this

The US cannot on one hand say they banned Nigerians from travelling due to insecurity and on the other hand celebrate helping Nigeria fight insecurity.

I am positive that the ban will be likely be relaxed for some categories like F1.

Me Personally I don't like third party in my space/home, so the idea of maids is not something I really fancy.

It's only normal for someone like me to actively assist madam with chores and some errands which a maid would've done.

The third party thing is my biggest problem with maids as well.

The best I will do is have someone come in once or twice a week and go once she's done.

One time we didnt have light in the compound and couldn't pump, I saw my neighbours wife carrying one bucket of water on her head and the other on her hand while the husband strolled majestically behind her.

When they got to the staircase, he now collected the smaller bucket on her hand. They live on the third floor.

Seeing how comfortable he was doing that in the open, only God knows what that woman goes through in the house.

Then Oga and Madam can chill all they want. If I was in Nigeria I will definitely have domestic help. Even abroad wey I dey I still employ people to cut my lawn and do deep cleaning like one time a quarter or every 6 months

It is not as easy as you think. I've seen people change 5, 6 maids till they got tired and stopped hiring.

I've also seen maids invite the security man to the master bedroom when the man and the wife are not home.

Cctv helps but where's the money to install it, the light to power it or even the time to review it daily if you have a busy schedule.

I've seen maids who maltreat kids, steal things from the house or outrightly kidnap kids.

Some people are also not comfortable having a third party permanently live with them in the house. For someone like me who likes to fling my clothes once I come in, I can't do that if the help is female.

And how long does this phase even last? 10-12 years. By that time, your first child is old enough to assist with most chores. And the years run by faster than you can imagine.

What kind of man marries such a woman? Then sits behind a screen like the rest of us to watch another man describe how he used to knack his wife.

Either the woman is very lucky with simps or guy man is hustling for his own green card. It just has to be the latter.

The interesting thing is, if this video somehow gets to US Twitter and it blows up, she may lose that green card. The current administration is ruthless with immigration fraud.

And another man still thought a woman who has been divorced twice and has never been pregnant is the best he can get.

No, they don't sell panels. You will have to buy yours. I used two 400w panels connected in series(I believe)

You may want to reconsider buying because mine has stopped charging from the solar input due to a failed MPPT.

To be fair, they have asked that I return it so they fix it without cost to me since it's still under warranty but I decided to wait till the rainy season when I won't need it as much.

It still charges from the AC input and works well without issues.

For those like me with full funding and are hoping to make it by fall, it is highly unlikely Trump will lift the ban except a miracle happens. The only country (Turkmenistan) that was lifted off non immigrant ban between June and December, their president met with Trump at the White House during the Central Asia US Summit. I suspect it came up as part of their discussions.

I am not seeing any sign of seriousness from the Nigerian government.


Our only hope of making it by fall IMO will come from the courts.
