'PartOne

We all have done  foolish things one time or the other in our lives...
Have actually done lot of foolish things, yeah lot of stupid things indeed...
Way back 2010/2011, was yet to gain admission, done with secondary education, somehow I got myself entangled in a lesbo relationship not because I was a lesbian ,out of curiosity after reading and seeing pornographic videos/images of girls making out,I just had this deep urge to have a feel of what it's like.‎ Well my foolish dream came true when somehow I actually got entangled in what I had always been curious to have. Just this once in my life,a video was made, well it felt good and seem sane to me then. Sometime in late August/mid September this year ominiaho whom I actually met through the babe who did the video,he did threatened  to release the video online, way back 6years ago he did ask me out which I never did accepted and I never will,i simply wasn't interested. All of a sudden he popped up this year, calling, asking to see me,saying he's got a job for me and all that, asking to see me,fixed a date and all that which I didn't turn up to anyways, when he saw his plans to have me wasn't working he decided to threaten me with the video which happened like way back  6years ago. How he got the video I dont know? If he actually do have the video I don't know either!

I spoke to Drea who made the video today on my way back from church, just to clear the air even tho we haven't seen nor communicate in like years and she was shocked stating she doesn't have the video, she deleted it a long time ago and she's sure @ominiaho doesn't have the video, but still i'll drop this here.‎ Am I scared? YES! Did I make a mistake? YES,i did made a nasty mistake!! Have I moved on,YES I have!!!...I don't want to be another Chidinma Okeke, seeing chidinma okeke case I have no other choice but to voice out now. Am not going to lie or claim it was photoshopped, I did something stupid and am way over it and have moved on,but just incase one day something pops up,its all in the past!'

'PartTwo

Have moved away from there,am in my future, a better place, working towards been a better person and making sure all my dreams/visions/ambitions become a reality and till I die i'll keep appreciating God grace who brought me out of Darkness into his marvelous light, i'll continously appreciate praisefowowe whom God used as an instrument to bring me out of my mess unto God marvelous light.

Been celibate for a long time,I was so close to having sex two weeks ago but when I remember how far have come, how far It took me to build my relationship with God,i don't want to ruin/destroy what have buildt with God by engaging in premarital sex and thus starting afresh to build my relationship with him (God) again. I know as Christians when you fall you get back up again and keep moving...I really don't wanna fall nor fail God.

Foreign AffairsRussia Threatens U.S. Over Syria Read More At: Http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/ by akinszz(op): 2:20am On Oct 08, 2016
As tension mounts among the actors in Syrian crisis, Russia has warned it will shoot down US warplanes flying over Syria. There had been uneasy calm between Russia and the West over America’s incursions into Syrian Army. Russia’s PutinRussia’s Putin Moscow military bosses said they have set up sophisticated anti-aircraft missile systems in the war-torn country that may be a “surprise” to unidentified planes and helicopters.

According to Oriental Times, no-nonsense Vladimir Putin of Russia has ordered the deployment of the high-tech S-300 and S-400 units in order to protect Russian troops on the ground. “Any missile or air strikes on the territory controlled by the Syrian government will create a clear threat to Russian servicemen,’’ Russian Defence Ministry spokesperson General Igor Konashenkov, said on Friday.

“Russian air defense system crews are unlikely to have time to determine in a ‘straight line’ the exact flight paths of missiles and then who the warheads belong to. “And all the illusions of amateurs about the existence of ‘invisible’ jets will face a disappointing reality.” Fears of a confrontation in Syria between the US and Russia’s troops have increased following the coalition bombing of Russian-backed Syrian government soldiers last month.

The strike, which the US claimed was an accident, reportedly killed 83 of Bashar al-Assad’s men. But the Russian foreign ministry swiftly hit back, accusing the US of “supporting” terror cult Islamic State. The incident occurred shortly before peace talks between Washington and Moscow in Geneva collapsed on Monday.

EducationGunmen Hit Lagos School, Student Narrates Narrowly Escape by akinszz(op): 2:13am On Oct 08, 2016
By Evelyn Usman, Olasunkanmi Akoni & Bose Adelaja

LAGOS—Gunmen suspected to be militants, yesterday, stormed Lagos State Model College, Igbonla in Eredo Local Council Development Area, Epe, Lagos State, abducting six persons, including the school’s Vice Principal, a teacher and four students. However, two of the students were later rescued by policemen who immediately arrived the scene. The gunmen, numbering over 10, it was gathered, came through the waterways in three speed boats. They were said to have positioned themselves strategically, around the school building , while about six of them gained entrance into the school premises through a collapsed fence.

They made straight for the school hall, where the assembly was being held. LAGOS MODEL COLLEGE, IGBONLA-EPELAGOS MODEL COLLEGE, IGBONLA-EPE Their presence caused commotion as the students ran in different directions for safety. The school guards were helpless; they also ran for cover into adjoining buildings. In the process, the Vice Principal of the Junior Secondary School, whose identity was given simply as Oyesola and the teacher, identified as Lukman Oyerinde, as well as four students, all in the Junior Secondary School, JSS, were abducted. . The names of the two kidnapped students were given as Isaac Adebii and Okonkwo, all in JSS1.

The gunmen were said to have abducted the students first and later went after the vice principal and the teacher, who attempted to free the students from the invaders. The abducted persons were, thereafter, whisked away into their waiting speed boats, as they headed towards Ogere in Ogun State. One of the teachers, said to have sustained injury, was rushed to an undisclosed hospital. Help on the way While the students and teachers ran helter skelter, a male student was said to have collected a mobile phone from one of his teachers and intimated his father, who is a security agent. The father, Vanguard learned, contacted the necessary security agencies, who were immediately deployed to the scene. At about 10am, a combined team of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Army, Marine Police and local security groups were at the scene, combing the entire area for the students.

There was also aerial patrol of the waterways. Parents storm school When news of the invasion filtered out, apprehensive parents stormed the school to pick their children, majority of who live in the boarding house. A parent, Mrs Chukwuma, who spoke with Vanguard, said: “We live in Ikorodu area of Lagos and my child is a boarder. It is a mixed gender school. My daughter is still in shock because she said one of the abducted students that was later freed was her classmate. “She said the gunmen fired warning shots into the air when the whole place was in disarray. From all indications, it was obvious that they wanted to abduct more than that number but the screams and quick telephone calls to the necessary agencies stalled that.

Parents and students gather at Government Model, College, Igbonla, Epe, Lagos yesterday. Parents and students gather at Government Model, College, Igbonla, Epe, Lagos yesterday. “My daughter also said that one of the gunmen, suspected to be the leader, instructed them to leave immediately when others were going to get more students. One of the kidnappers took one person each according to her. She said they pointed their weapons at the teachers and threatened to shoot if any of them tried to play smart.” How I narrowly escaped —student A Junior Secondary School student, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Vanguard on phone how she escaped being abducted. She said: “I narrowly escaped being a victim. As I was running, when they came, one of them told me to stop.

In my confused state, I did because I was afraid he would shoot. About five of us stood at the same position. But as he approached us, I summoned courage and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. “My action prompted others to run as well. But unfortunately, one of them was among those abducted.” Another JSS 1 student who cried as he begged his parents to take him back home, said they ran to neighbourhood to alert residents. He said: “Our teachers tried to safeguard us but they could not do much. Some of us ran to the neighborhood to spread the information.” A parent, who has three children in the school, was seen wailing, yesterday, that she was yet to see one of her children. She said: “I have three students in this school but I am still searching for my daughter who alerted me on phone while on my way to work.

Unfortunately, I can’t reach her as the phone was switched off before my arrival and I am yet to locate her.” Olu of Epe speaks The Olu of Epe Kingdom, Oba Sefiu Olatunji, expressed displeasure at the incident, saying the culprits must not go unpunished. The Oba, who just returned from his visit to the school, assured that necessary steps would be taken to unravel the situation the traditional way.

Efforts on to rescue them —Police Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Mr Fatai Owoseni, said efforts were in top gear to rescue the abducted persons. Speaking with journalists at the command headquarters, Ikeja, yesterday, Owoseni said the command had swung into action, adding that it was being assisted by the Nigerian Navy. “We are monitoring the movement. The Marine Police and our counterpart from the Navy are at work. We hope to rescue them in the shortest possible time,” Owoseni assured. Owoseni assured parents and families of the victims that the rescue operation already launched would be the shortest in the history of the command and solicited their support.

The police commissioner, who noted that security agencies were already in custody of useful leads, said: “All I just want to say for now is that you have to work with us. What we also need from you is your prayers. We will seek your understanding and for now, I will not reveal much because as we speak, there are agents of the kidnappers here and they will reveal whatever we say here to them. “We have a government in Lagos State that is ready to go all out and I can assure you that this will be the shortest rescue operation that we will carry out. We will do everything we need to do to secure release of the victims, as there is a strong hope of rescuing them.” Lagos govt condemns act Meanwhile, Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Idiat Adebule, visited the college yesterday, accompanied by top government functionaries and heads of security agencies.

She condemned the act, but pleaded with parents and families of the victims to cooperate with government and security agencies to ensure prompt rescue of the victims. Adebule admonished parents, who rushed to the school to pick their children, advising that such action would not help the situation. She said panicking would further compound the situation. Adebule said: “It is true that in the last 29 years that this school was established, we have never experienced such a thing as this. But now that it has happened and it is confronting us, we must come together to find a lasting solution to it. “We, as a government, parents, the school and security agencies, must remain united to solve this problem. “I know you are angry, worried and agitated, but we must look for solution. I, therefore, plead for the understanding of parents in this matter.

I know how traumatic it could be, I know how emotional the issue we are discussing could be but the best we can do is to handle it with care and with utmost wisdom that God can give us.” Also reacting to the incident, yesterday, the House of Representatives called on security agencies in the country to intensify rescue efforts for the kidnapped students and their teachers.

The House’s resolution followed a motion by Wale Raji, a lawmaker from the state, under matters of urgent national importance. The House heard from Raji, how some suspected kidnappers attacked Government Model, College, Igbonla, Epe, yesterday morning to carry out the abduction. Raji said he was told about the development shortly after the House resumed plenary yesterday, adding that he was compelled to bring it to the attention of the House and, by extension, the country.

PoliticsN255m Armoured Cars: Court Refuses To Stop Oduah’s Arrest by akinszz(op): 1:12am On Oct 06, 2016
Ade Adesomoju, Abuja

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday dismissed an application by a former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, asking ‎for an order stopping the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the police from arresting her with respect to ongoing investigation into corruption allegation against her.

Oduah had filed the fundamental rights enforcement suit, asking the court to prohibit the Attorney-General of the Federation’s office, the EFCC, and the police from “inviting, arresting, investigating or prosecuting” her over the purchase of two armoured BMW vehicles at a cost of N255m by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority under her watch as the Aviation Minister in 2013.

A similar fundamental human rights enforcement suit filed by the former minister, who is now a Senator representing Anambra North, was earlier struck out by Justice Okon Abang, then sitting in the Lagos Division, on February 17, 2016, for want of territorial jurisdiction.

Justice Abdu Kafarati in his judgment on Wednesday, upheld the objection raised by the respondents, to the effect that the court lacked the requisite jurisdiction to hear the case because the prayer sought in it was outside the ambit Chapter 4 of the Constitution which captured enforceable rights of persons.

He held that that no court had the power to stop security agencies from carrying out their duty of investigation.

He also said such prayer could not constitute a fundamental rights action.

He said it was in the interest of a person suspected of crimes to be invited by the investigating agency so that the suspect could give his or her own side of the story.

He added that the suit did not disclose any reasonable cause of action.

He said, “It is not grantable by this court because the court cannot stop security agencies from carrying out their duties. There is no way a person can be investigated without being invited by (the) body charged with the responsibility of investigation.

“In most cases, the invitation is even in the interest of the invitee because he or she will have the opportunity of giving his or her side of the story.

“I therefore hold that the application seeking to stop security agencies from inviting, investigating, arresting and/or prosecuting any person suspected to have committed an offence does not constitute a fundamental right action.”

Oduah had argued that the criminal allegations leveled against her as minister had been investigated by the EFCC and the House of Representatives’ Committee on Aviation, which both absolved her of any wrong doing.

She had maintained that the investigation was going to be used as tool for political persecution against her.

PoliticsSenate Rejects MTN Bid To Sack Workers by akinszz(op): 1:04am On Oct 06, 2016
By Henry Umoru ABUJA –

THE Senate said Wednesday that it would reject moves by Mobile Telephone Network, MTN to sack Nigerians working in the telecommunication industry without recourse to global rules and practices.

Speaking to journalists today, when confronted with media report that MTN Nigeria Limited recently sacked over five hundred staff, Chairman, Senate Committee on Communications, Senator Gilbert Nnaji, said, ” as the representatives of the people we cannot fold our alms and watch our constituents being oppressed by employers of labour.

We cannot in any way tolerate such. At the same time, we shall ensure that our foreign investors are not unduly threatened. When my attention was drawn to this ugly development I immediately contacted the Managing Director of the company.”

Although he said that facts were somehow misrepresented in the report he still admitted that it was only the short-term contract staff who work in the call centres that were affected.

He said, “I then let him know that it would be proper for him to review the action especially in view of the biting economy in the country. It is only when that option fails that the committee and by extension, Senate, would take a position to protect our people”.

“MTN has since denied the report. This is the second time in one week that the South African telecoms giant making public denial.

Just last Wednesday it denied an allegation that it had illegally repatriated 13.92 billion dollars from Nigeria, saying the claim was without merit.”

HealthWhy You Must Stop Shaving Pubic Hair – Expert Warns by akinszz(op): 12:54am On Oct 06, 2016
Contrary to well acclaimed hygienic practice, a medical expert has warned of the dangers in completely shaving the pubic hair. Dr Arikawe Adeolu, an Abuja-based medical expert, advised that it is safer to trim the hair rather than shaving it off completely. He said that complete shaving of the hair could cause infection. Adeolu told our correspondent on Tuesday that shaving or waxing of the hair around the pubic could cause cracks and expose the skin to bacterial infection.

He added that the pubic hair served a major purpose of providing some level of cushioning for the individual, especially during sexual activity, preventing the skin from rubbing against another and causing abrasion. He explained that if the skin around the pubic region was completely shaved and the individual’s skin came into contact with another person’s skin, friction would be increased due to the skin to skin contact.

He advised that individuals who were worried about the lack of hygiene due to untended pubic hair should consider trimming rather than complete shaving or waxing of the hair. “When you completely shave the pubic hair, it re-grows in a slanted fashion with the tip sometimes growing into the pubic skin, which can crack open the skin. “It is usually a small crack which cannot be seen with the naked eyes but due to this crack and loss of integrity of the skin at that level, there is increased risk of getting infection. “Complete shaving can also cause boil to develop in that region.

This is because when you shave, you cause some level of abrasion in the area which opens up the skin. “These small openings cannot be seen with the eye but they are big enough for the micro organisms to get into the body. “Also, because the pubic area is always moist, this serves as breeding ground for organisms like bacteria.”

Adeolu said that trimming the pubic hair would also help to reduce the risk of contacting Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), which could also be contacted when fluid from an infected partner’s Instruments came into contact with the pubic area. According to him, if the partner is already infected, the virus in the semen or body fluid can easily penetrate the skin of the other to infect the individual.

He said that this infection was mostly caused by a virus known as ‘Molluscum contagiosum’, adding that there had been significant increase in incidences of such infection in hospitals. “It is a viral infection that is also categorised as an STI. It affects the skin and does not need treatment; usually after a couple of weeks or months, the symptoms go away by themselves. “You also have an increased risk of contacting other STIs such as HIV, Hepatitis, genital warts by complete shaving of the pubic hair,’’ Adeolu said.
