People forget so soon that they have been friends for a very long time. Politics will come and go! |
There is little info on this matter. 1) The boy automatically have a 'leave' in UK by virtue of being born and staying there. 2) Once, the Mum obtain Nigeria passport for him, there may be problem. Without passport, he cannot be deported to anywhere. 3) The boy is NOT British neither does he have permanent residency. 4) Without her Mum's messy application(s), the boy could have gotten permanent residency in 2 years time. |
Busybody2:Thats not true. |
musiwa94:1) Are you sure about that? 2) I can get people who live there then. What was the question? |
I dont know why there is so much unnecessary noise about this certificate issue. The requirement is minimum of school certificate or equivalent. The fact is he does NOT need to write WAEC at all. I knew the followin facts that in the '80s 1) A certificate is given to pupils who NEVER write primary 6 exam but were in primary 6 with us. I think they call it primary school leaving certificate even though those guys chose NOT to proceed. 2) Some people stop school in form 3(mid secondary school) and they get a certificate for that. Not the present JS3 exam. 3) Others were in Form 5(final year) but NEVER write WAEC, they were also given a certificate. In those days, people used such certificates to further their education in technical school etc and even to procure jobs(low level one) The aforementioned are the equivalent that is required for Nigeria's NO1 position. I am 100% sure Buhari have at least equivalent. |
soe:You are correct but how do an average Easterner view APC? They are Jonathanmania. But we all know they will be used and dump as usual. |
Adminisher:It was Dr Onaolapo Soleye(IBB's finance minister) that recommend her to OBJ http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/sunday/index.php/the-arts/4284-akunyili-and-her-war-against-counterfeit-medicines http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/06/dora-akunyilis-last-dance/ |
I can remember very well in the early years of Nairaland, he was made Governor of the year by members here. Even though, the daughter is somehow 'innocent' in looting the treasury but moraly, she does NOT qualify to aspire to ANY office in Nigeria. Her Dad disgraces not only himself but family and our dear country. Pre- 1980's she wont even try to vie for anything in Nigeria. What can we do when morality is at zero level? |
So so ashamed to be a Nigerian because of this party stupidity. What happen in Ekiti and House of Rep is so bad. |
miqos02:At the moment, they are NOT best of friends but they used to be very very close years ago. I think he fell out with Oyedepo when he published a particular book which contents appear to show some apostasy against Christ. He used to call Orisajatfor great evangelist of God but they toe different line in the last 4 years.. |
I am proud to be a Christian ANYDAY. No amount of propaganda will stop me in vote Buhari. Buhari that i know in 1984 remain the same Buhari today. A man of high integrity! Leadership has nothing to do with religion. Nigeria can never be islamized or Christianize by ANYONE |
I was very happy on the day FOI bill was passed. If properly implemented, Corruption could have reduced drastically in our country.... Too bad, Today's Judges are part and parcel of the menace |
chukwudi44:This is non-existing. Even Abacha will not spend £50m on 2 beds |
Any online link to watch this? Thanks |
Difficult one i think! Hazard was the most fouled player in the premiership last season Di Maria is more experienced though. |
Hmmm! Fayose at Deeper Life? Baba Kumuyi may not like this. He hardly hob-nob with Politicians. |
dayokanu:Hey Dayo, I still dey come here oooooo We love NL so much |
Make up on Children? This generation sha! |
Well done girl! Dont mind 'side talks' on NL. Gather as much academic achievement you can have now. As per sex, you will be fed up of it when you get married. |
Too bad! Bedtime Now. It will be very difficult for Mikel to be in this position again as a defensive midfielder. Yaya is in another level. Can win it again and again. |
I am seriously tensed Now. Please bring on King Mikel Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. |
Ironi: There are many better players who fit the bill than Mikel. If i may ask, who are these players? |
Having observed how this award is given over the last 20 years. Its a 50-50 situation. I will be delighted if Mikel win it because he deserved it but i have been disappointed on a number of occasion on this award. For me, Yayah is the best player in the premiership in the last 2 years. He can do just anything with the ball. |
Interesting! 1) He is FORMERLY a Roman Catholic. Ok .. Alright. Was he a christian? Another debate for another day 2) I remember vividly how Nzeribe fooled the whole Northern muslim years ago of his conversion including Sultan only to make a fool of them on the celebrated day 3) I have so many Bangladeshi as Pal and i know their muslimness well |
This is sad. Prior to the names being mentioned, my initial thought was Bangladesh, Malaysians and Nigerians(whether UK born, bred or immigrant). I begin to do permutations. Do we have Malaysians and Bangladesh in our league? This is no cricket! One Hakeem Ogunlade came up and NOW Sodjes. Too bad ! Maybe people are too desperate for money. I cant just understand. |
How on earth could those girls be called Christians! Total Nonsense! All those madness were promoted by Pentecostal madness in Nigeria Only fools will be following those girls. |
Mutiu Adepoju played for their Junior team at that time.Castilla i think!. He was even on his way into the A team. He travelled with the First team on pre-season but was dropped for other reason. Definitely NOT football reason. Mutiu left in anger and make sure he scored against Real madrid consecutively for 8 seasons. |
[quote author=sammy329 A person contesting as a governor that could not win his polling unit and local government[/quote]In 1999, OBJ lost his polling booth and every single state in yorubaland YET he was elected. |
@Kuroji Agreed @All Tinubu may come with Integration agenda. He and many of us who understand the sophistication of ondo people knew they can NEVER be bought by ''external''forces. Lets wait and see as events unfolds....... |
Omofranca: Most Nigerian politicians are sore losers - it was obvious right from the start that Mimiko was the people's choice. They are sore losers because our elections are hardly free and fair. From second republic till today, i can only count 2 elections that are free and probably fair. Only 2! 1) June 12 presidential election and 2) Edo state governorship election [ People just vote enmasse for comrade NOT because he's in ACN or good guy, they were just tired of PDP nonsense for years ] Imagine the last presidential election in the south east where GEJ won by 99% etc. How onearth could any politician scored that? Not Awolowo! Not Azikwe and NOT Sarduana of this world. It is a total fraud. Back to Ondo state, ACN will go to court, i am of the opinion that some elections will be cancelled, ACN will NOT win but Olusola Oke might QUITELY be the governor. All VALID votes MUST count and all irregularities must be cancelled. |
Ummg It appears Mimiko is well on ground. There was reports that there were violence and ballot snatching in some areas? Are there Nairalanders in strategic areas of the state most especially the Riverrine areas |
