dadojo: More telecommunication companies started finding their way into the Nigerian market, competition became stiff, call rates started droping, cost of texting also reduced, GSM operators decided to start selling branded phones at a cheaper rate, more people could now afford a cell phone. Phone boot operation was gradually becoming not-so-profitable! More and more people left the business of phone boot operation. I can't remember seeing anyone sitting on a phone boot offering calls at a cheap rate for the past one year! What they do now is recharge card selling, which is fast becoming extinct. More and more people no longer buy recharge cards, they simply use the atm. Banks has now made it easier to recharge your phones without going to the atm, you simply dial a few codes and viola!!! your phone is recharged.
For our mechanics, cars are becoming more digital these days! We are gradually seeing alot of hybrid cars on our roads, the kind of cars that if you dare use your old knowledge of repairing or replacing a shaft, you will end up damaging the spedometer of the car, plus other sensitive devices. A friend of mine once took his car to the mechanic for a minor fault. At the end of the day, the mechanic ended up damaging other major components and the intriguing part of it is that the mechanic did not even know he damaged other parts let alone how to repair them. The car spedometer stoped working, the digital display stopped functioning as well. It was terrible
Sir! Thanks so much , i got d manual u sent to me
In an earlier post, I said you need to be constantly up to date because the jobs available now, might not be the jobs our children will grow up to meet. Develope your self! |

dadojo: update While learning as an apprentice with an electronics repairer, I had an amazing revelation! My boss then was making a whole lot of money. On the average, he earned about ₦80,000 from his workmanship in a month. This was far above what some banks pay their graduate workers. My boss then or oga (as we call him) was a primary 6 certificate holder. He was between the ages of 43-46, he already had a house of his own. Seriously, I envied him! But outwardly, he wasn't looking like he was doing well financially. It took those of us who were his boys to know what he was really worth financially. Let me give you a little breakdown of his daily income.
Everyday, we had at least 3 jobs to work on (That is on a very very bad day)! At times, we got as many as 10 jobs. Out of these jobs, two could be a spoilt DVD player and a faulty television. The minimum we charged for repairing a dvd player irrespective of the fault was ₦1000. If we had to change or replace a damaged part, the price went higher. Basically, the major faults that dvd players had were bad lens and power issues. A bad lens could prevent a dvd drive from opening. The parts for these faults were readily available in our shop. All we needed to do was replace the part or remove from an old dvd in the shop and put into the client's dvd which had the fault.
Same with the television! If the fault had nothing to do with the television tube, we simply replace the damaged I.C as well. Most times, television had issues with their ICs mostly. We already knew this. Right from the time you tell us the fault, we know where the problem is already, but would not like to make the repair in front of the client because we needed to charge a large sum for the simple job we did...
The simplest of repairs cost ₦2500 minimum. With an expense of ₦200 made on I.C purchase. So, on a very bad day, the money made would be ₦4500. Expenses made would be ₦1000 max. Profit for the day would be ₦3500. Multiply that by 24 working days in the month (Mon-Sat) gives ₦84,000 assuming everyday of the month was a BAD DAY!
In my opinion, technicians earn more than most graduates... Yeah its a hard truth I know... But I've seen it first hand. Many road side Mechanics earn higher than graduates of mechanical engineering. The problem I see with these technicians is LACK OF FINANCIAL LITERACY, so in their plenty, they still lack.
This will bring us to the issue of managing your finances later show me ur handwork o, dem planty planty for naija, op God wil bless for dis gud work u re doing , here |

maxproxl: your proposal is okay but just review the price N1.50k(irrespective of volume) as I told you before. just offer to help them send the sms. dont bundle the proposal as you did for (churches, hotels, schools, clubs etc). you must be specific i.e propose to a particular company emphasizing issues that will excite them. my brother please dont focus on bulk sms business alone as the income potential is low except you secure a deal with a politician. look at the other business topics on this thread. wishing you all the very best. you will excel and succeed ijn. keep following Sir am using A4 thats why i combine it that way , though u told me nt to use A4, but right nw i av no choice, |

Health › 6 Ways To Resuscitate Your Sex Life by akorson5(op): 10:35am On Aug 28, 2014 |
Ever catch yourself reminiscing about the times when your sex life was passionate, exciting and, well, more than just the occasional repeat performance of the routine you and your partner perfected years ago? Why leave it at reminiscing? There’s absolutely no reason why you can’t re- invigorate matters and make things exhilarating again. For many long-term couples there is a natural tendency to steadily become closer and more comfortable as friends and life companions rather than evolving as lovers as the years go by. Here are a couple of ideas to help you reinvent your sex life. Remember that different things will work for different people and couples. You’ll have to experiment and find out what’s best for you. But that’s half the fun. 1.Honesty If you feel that you’re not getting enough or think that your sex life is lacking in quality, then tell your partner. Chances are they feel the same. Honesty is the first and most important ingredient in identifying and rectifying any problems. Before either of you start looking for sexual gratification elsewhere or simply resign yourself to a sexless future, talk about how you feel and discuss ideas to sex things up again. Be honest with your partner and with yourself. Tell them what you’re missing and what you’d really like to try, and allow them the freedom to do the same. Keep communicating and speak about the things that work for you and those that don’t, especially if you’re going to try out new read on.... http://www.akornson..com.es/2014/08/6-ways-to-resuscitate-your-sex-life.html?m=1 |
