Business / Re: Sporry.com - CPA Network. Are You A Publisher? by AKPOZY(m): 10:08pm On Nov 10, 2018
Thanks, Daudugod. I thought as much! Their carriage was so poor. I mean, how can one introduce someone to a new concept and decide to leave the person in the lurch?
Thanks for the advice, bro.
Business / Sporry.com - CPA Network. Are You A Publisher? by AKPOZY(m): 11:27pm On Nov 09, 2018
Recently, I got an email from DE Nigeria Support on how to sign up with Sporry.com and get paid promoting businesses on their network.
It was what I was looking for as I desperately want to quit my frustrating 8 to 5 job. I immediately signed up with Sporry even without knowing a thing or two about CPA business. Just to show how eager I am to quit my job.
As explained by DE, I was sent an approval mail by the Sporry.com team to become a publisher.
I was ecstatic that I was already finding a way out. You can't imagine my joy on that day!
Immediately after I completed my registration, I called the numbers provided in the mail DE sent me. They informed me that I have to dole out #19,200 for the training on how to make money through CPA. I agreed to pay the money.
I requested for their account details as well as their website which I expect to be the means through which I can get further clarification. The lady promised to send me everything.
Since October 2018, until now, I still haven't seen anything from them. Even after making efforts several other times, they still are not forthcoming.
This brings me to the reason for my write-up:
Could it be that DE Nigeria Suport is a scam site? If not, why are they not taking the business seriously?
In the event that I can't get trained by them, can I get other businesses in Nigeria that can provide training on how to succeed in CPA business?
Successful people in this CPA business should please help me in making this a reality by suggesting ways I can make it happen.

Business / Re: Procedures To Get TIN No. From FIRS by AKPOZY(m): 7:17pm On Mar 09, 2016
I must tell you that you are exceptionally good!

Just this afternoon, I went to First Bank to inquire about what I need to open a corporate account. One of the requirements was a TIN. Honestly, I knew nothing about this as I only introduced myself into corporate stuff by registering a business name this March 2016. I just got my certificate documents yesterday.

When I was told this, I was frightened! I thought to myself, I' ve not commenced business and I'm already being told about things that'll involve money that I hardly have now?'

Well, I decided to google "TIN", which led me to our almighty NAIRALAND.

Thank God for every contributor on this platform. As y'll are bent on making Nigeria a knowledgeable nation, may the Great God make your minds overflow with ideas that will bring everlasting satisfaction to every one of you and your household.

Please, I need to learn further: as stated earlier, I'm yet to commence business. At this stage, wouldn't it be counter-productive to get any where near the tax house? Wouldn't the bank be charging me despite not doing any transactions yet?

You may know that seeking contract jobs- which is why I'm setting this up- takes a long time for new firms. I pray it doesn't though. How can I handle FIRS in the mean time? How are VAT & Companies income taxes charged?

Francis, I have flurry of questions. But I think I have to take it one step at a time. I'll be truly happy if I can get help from all well - meaning nlers.

I just want some clarification: What is the approximate size of land required to set up the plant? Do you have contacts of LPG companies within Delta State, especially close to Warri? Where does one go to apply for a DPR licence? Do you have support service for a newbie who 's venturing into the business?

True. I'm sure your Bible paints a perfect picture.

You see the issue. Your history begins with Moses.. Africa's history began years and ages before Moses or Adam.. so your Bible is clearly lacking...
Africa birthed humanity.

Could you please explain, "Africa birthed Humanity?" To satisfy my curiousity.

Hello friends, I may sound boring but I crave your indulgence for some minutes.

I graduated with good grades from school. I was very confident of my abilities and,as such, saw it unnecessary to consider anything other than working in multi-national corporations like Shell, Chevron, e.t.c. This is a dream of any regular guy from the south-south region of this country. However, I was watching as the days turned into weeks, weeks into months and months into years, with me looking out the window of hope to land my 'dream' job. That was exactly why year turned into years with me still jobless.

At this point I realised I need to employ a different approach. I have to redeem myself from this hole I've got myself into. I now realise that things are not the way they should be.

By means of this thread, I want to appeal to nairalanders who can help salvage me out of this mess to come to my aid. I understand that one of the physiological needs of man that must be met on a delay basis is eating, hence, I've decided to go into a business that's related to that- purchasing plantain from farms and transporting it to town to sell to the market women.

Honestly, I know nothing about this trade but I know it will work through my commitment. This is why I'm calling on you guys on this forum that knows about the business to give me a heads up so as to make a success of it.

Any sincere suggestion you give is a way of helping me out of the shackles of poverty into a life of liberty. I'll appreciate your kindness. God bless you.
Car Talk / A Fairly Used Hilux. by AKPOZY(m): 12:16am On Oct 01, 2015
Hello guys, I know next to nothing about cars, because I've never driven one before.

However, I want to know about Hilux to start an intending business. I just need good fellas in this forum that knows about vehicles to give me a head up on the cost of getting one, what to look out for in purchasing one. I would also want to know where I can get a sound, fairly used one at a reasonable price.

Please help to make me be useful to our economy.
Literature / Re: TOP 20 Useful Resources For Writers by AKPOZY(m): 11:14pm On Jul 18, 2013
GOOGLE
What would modern writers be without google? Saves us the rigorous time spent going from one almost empty library to the next in search of resources for our writing project.
Its a resource that I consider the greatest of all writing resources; the genesis of modern writing itself.
In it you find the solution to all writing problems.
Just keep searching, and you shall find. Google tells you.

Business / Re: You Can Build A Multi-million Dollar Internet Company In Nigeria. by AKPOZY(m): 1:12pm On May 30, 2013
Your write-up is quite inspiring. I really got energized. In your write-up you mentioned owners of several CIB. But if I may ask, what's the name of your own CIB- internet business company? I ask because a lot of guys come into the forum to encourage others to get engaged in creating intellectual products, when, all they do is get satisfaction in just being able to make a post in this forum. Don't mean to insult you; just want to be sure you are into some deep thinking that will make your CIB get a mention on Forbe's Magazine. I respect your effort in making the post, but would respect your personality if you're already digging your nose deep into creative thinking.

Romance / Re: If God Had Given You The Grace To Choose Will You Have Chosen Your Parent? by AKPOZY(m): 11:06pm On May 15, 2013
Of course I would have chosen both of them. Unfortunately, my mom died 13 yrs ago. D 22 yrs I spent with her were amazing. Her values still makes me wonder if there'll a better mom dan her. My dad, to be honest, if it were permissible to worship a human, I would have gladly done so 4 him(I hope he doesn't read dis; just so unassuming). D two makes me feel I can never measure up with their compassion, selflessness, reasonableness, consistency. I feel I'll always be in their shadows when it comes to displaying those attributes.
