Crime / Re: Italian Kidnapped In Kenya Dealt In Ivory Smuggling, Cops Claim by AkQWA: 3:09am On Apr 01, 2019
Cops claim the kidnapped girl is still alive. What is interesting is that neither her country, Italy, nor Kenya governments are requesting her abductors to release her!

Crime / Italian Kidnapped In Kenya Dealt In Ivory Smuggling, Cops Claim by AkQWA: 6:03am On Feb 19, 2019
Police investigations indicate that Italian aid worker Silvia Romano, who was abducted from Kilifi county at the Kenyan coast, had bought ivory pieces from Said Adan Abdi, one of the suspected abductors on November 20, 2018 moments before she was abducted from her hotel room by three armed men.

Police investigations also reveal that Sylvia was in constant communication with one of the kidnappers a few days prior to her abduction.

Police now believe that it was a business deal gone sour after Romano, who had bought unknown amount of illegal ivory from Abdi failed to pay for the illegal ivory which had been supplied to her and managed to smuggle out of the country since April 2017.

Nairaland / General / Priest Set To Become President Of DR Congo by AkQWA: 3:26am On Jul 29, 2018
There has been call for a transitional govt in DRC led by religious leaders that will prepare the country for a free and fair election in a few years time. Will President Kabila agree to this? What about the various opposition groups and militia? Or is the Democratic Republic of the Congo doomed to remain unstable forever?

I think the proposal for an interim transitional government is good. What are your views?

Tell your friend to contact the press and shame the devil.

Programming / Re: I Want To Learn Programming. Which Language Should I Start With? by AkQWA: 5:38am On May 25, 2017
I would suggest you learn C# and Java if you want to go into the world of app development. But its always good to understand the basics (about the web) like HTML and CSS and PHP/ASP.

ie Learn the basics (HTML, CSS and PHP/ASP) in 1-3 months, then go to C# and Java.

However, as you will find out when you start making the actual apps, learning is a continuous process.

Laird:
Women and Men, Ladies and Gentlemen please have only the Children You can take very good care off

Its common in Nigeria to see Under 15 Children serving as Househelps in People's houses and hawking / selling stuff while other people's Children are in School or Watching Cartoon of playing or reading Mentally developing books which would improve their Welfare

Don't give birth to Children for the Children to be slaves and servants to other people's and their Children

A message is enough for the Wise
Kids shouldn't be working as maids. They should be in school

Programming / Re: Why Software/web/mobile Application Projects Fail In Nigeria by AkQWA: 10:18am On May 24, 2017
Our mobile apps fail to gain traction because we don't have an African-based app store. You could have the best mobile app but it will never show up on top page of google play or apple store. That is problem number 1 for African mobile developers.
