Chibuking81: Some hours ago, I was just observing what is happening in the Nigeria stock exchange market using real time online trading platform, a lot of manipulations going on there , most companies in the stock exchange market have their own stockbroker, therefore they don't pay brokers fee, they will only pay little amount to the stock regulator body. They offer and buy, at the same time bid the price higher to trap people, once people are traped they will withdraw their bid. It's better all the stock reflect their really current worth, so that confidence can return in the NSEM. You are so on point. Opinions are meant to differ, just stay on your LANE and refrain from responding to all |

bigass: Cheap data is causing problems on this forum Very true and it seems there are lot of newbies here that respond to every comment made especially by the main jester (Ihedioramma). December will definitely usher in Rally as buttressed by mercylicious. My simple advice is 4 guys ready to dine with sharks to target stocks that has fallen below 52wks Low. |

@angelo82 - Take it easy, this is an unusual time where global recession is hitting ALL especially with the continuous dwindling price of Oil, Commodities and economic downturn of China (Ripple effect across all nations). In our case, the wrongs of the past are being corrected at the moment and we have to endure b4 things take shape.
Smart Investors will still make money in this yuletide season as stocks are now recording RECORD LOW prices in 52 weeks : FBNH - N4.96, DIAMOND -N2.60, OANDO - N6.65, TRANSCORP -N1.85 etal |

Aks: I don't subscribe to the fact that the banking stocks are cheap cos few months back they were selling cheaper than the current price. NSE is very dry, the more you look, the less you see My quote 2 days ago on the direction of stock market when Manie said 'it's d right time to buy' |

FranklinRich: There is a Chinese adage that says the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
Waiting for prices to go back to where they were few months back might be waiting in futility cos there is no guarantee that we might see the lows of August. Again the NSE has a mind of its own and will do whatever it wants to do so maybe we will see the lows again or maybe we will not. As for me and my household I will keep accumulating good stocks as funds come in. Timing the market is not a skill I possess. manie: They are very cheap and may be cheaper, buy while offer lasts. After today's blood bath, can u still HOLD on to this assertion above? |

manie: There are lots of opportunities in the market, most of the stocks in the banking sector are very cheap. I will choose the following with a 12 to 24 months duration. First Bank, UBA, Access Bank, Skye Bank, Flour Mills, UAC property, United Capital etc. There are scores of other cheap stocks. I don't subscribe to the fact that the banking stocks are cheap cos few months back they were selling cheaper than the current price. NSE is very dry, the more you look, the less you see |

Looking to sell my little 400 units of Nestle that has been idle since and today looks good for the kill....Yet Morgan is disabled. What a shame...Think it time to hold 2 trading account. Advice needed...Please. whenever you notice downtime on Morgan's NSE platform, you can always give instruction to Morgan via call or email(better option) on your mandate and it'll be executed in line with your instruction (Offer/Bid Price). |
