To Newbies on this FORUM, please be very very careful. The moment you start seeing members of OLD showing face at the mention of some particular stocks, just know that it is a RED FLAG.

I have been on this thread for 7yrs+ and the likes of Dumexoga and emmanuelewumi are veterans with opposing views. The former is 90% of the time spilling info related to BULLISH run on most stocks especially OANDO (he told us his investment runs into MILLIONS) while the latter was fond of being too CAUTIOUS and a proponent of long term investment (not a fan of JIJO).

In Summary, look before you leap. Don't take any comment serious. Take the RISK and own the outcome (+ve/-ve).
Forget technical analysis and rely more of trend (personal analysis, historical data etal) and insider info (u can't get that on this blog). Finally, STOCK TRADING in Nigeria is advanced KALOKALO

your portfolio is in red because of too much rush.you too dey rush. This forum stands to tell you when a stock is ripe to buy.No ucap just marked down for dividend. How do you think the stock will mentain upward trends when there are other stocks to release results which people are witholding their money to buy in anticipation of juicy dividend.Any way you can remain on neutral/stagnancy till its time comes again.
I disagree with your point above. Entering @ 2.70 is good to go by my assessment. Please note that the new rule of trading in Treasury bills would definitely have =ve impact on NSE soon. @Tritri - don't worry too much

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Aks(m): 9:43am On Feb 22, 2017
Nigerian Stocks Trading is no respecter of newbie or experienced JIJO master or even the guys using Analysis in their trading. It is simply advanced 'Kalokalo'. You shouldn't take it too serious @locodemy.

Most of us know Ihedioramma from way back (over 3yrs+ on this thread) and majority won't be surprised with his style of Posts.

Just take the Risk, Trade and mayb by stroke of luck, you may HIT it big (Time & Chance). Good morning guys

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Aks(m): 10:36am On Dec 02, 2016
I seem not to understand the Bid/Offer window on Morgan itade platform. For example, Oando is on Bid @ 4.36 but offers of 4.34 and 4.35 are still showing. U can explain if you have any info on it

Thank you,

People can read inbtw the lines and it doesn't matter how u paint my interference (whether i'm biased, bad somebody etal) BUT the Ultimate is to stop this distraction. I am matured enough to discern and i don't do 'Ping-Pong'.

Pls let us stay Focused. Thank you, God bless you all

But LOCO is totally wrong for picking fight with MERCY over a simple post.

LOCO is not to be blamed pls. My blame goes to @myjoy085 who derives pleasure in putting petrol inside Fire that's almost put out.

Enough of this distraction pls. God Bless u real good @ mercylicious and @ Locodemy. Onto the main topic of STOCKS

Don't just read things on the surface and jump into conclusion.. The drop in profit relates to gain on fair value of biological assets which fell compared to previous year, circa #5.4b...The gain is non-monetary as it's just IFRS adjustment which do not impact on the company's cash flow.
As an investor, you focus on net OPERATING income to judge the profitability of a company and other indices like solvency, liquidity, roe et al..So, if you back out the fair value adjustment, the company still performed very well.. For instance, turnover was higher than that if previous year, cost of sales was kept at bay, g&a expenses was also moderate, assets went up compared to 2014 making their performance very impressive.
For me, the performance is not bad and I will recommend 'buy' for the stock.
Bravo, what a good analysis especially of the indices to look @ as an Investor on NSE

... so u relied on this information grin grin grin grin grin. My brother, look before you leap. Stocks like TIGERBRANDS (some have made almost 100% gain) & FO is doing 10% gain already and you are hell bent on investing your dole on an Illiquid stock like Livestock. Guys preaching this stock here are just looking for a way out. I'm not discouraging you but talking from experience.
