@SaiBuhari - I don't think your are spot on on your prediction this time (I may be wrong though). Based on your suggestion, i bought few shares of Vitafoam but had to opt out yesterday @ same price i bought - 5.25 (Incurred only broker's fee). The bear may rule the market for some days IMO. @all - please trade carefully and not not play with your real cash by throwing caution to the WIND |
davide470:Don't get it twisted, JUSt one MAN can make a huge difference in the world of banking especially where deposit is concerned |
In addition, for every stock you buy, pls endeavour to know your EXIT price. It's not cast in stone to buy and go to sleep just because somebody mentioned that u can make 100% gain on a stock. A real 10% gain realised in ur account sometimes is better than 50% paper profit that could lead to a LOSS in real time if u dilly dally aspa decision making |
Fundamental is lacking on NSE so most times the best judgement to use is proximity to relevant INSIDER information (few names in NSEMPA on my mind). Your Risk appetite is KEY in this business of stock trading. I remembered in Q4, 2013 - Q1, 2014 when FO was constantly making 10%, i bought this stock prior to its upward movement and opted out after 40% gain (Fear of the unknown) whereas others with high Risk Appetite stayed put and made over 400% - 600% gain within few months. Such is Life!!! So many examples abound everywhere (Ikeja Hotel and other stocks), the latest being Fidelity shares that sold for N1.10 in Feb 2015 and made over 80% gain within few weeks |
@ SaiBuhari - Bought some units @ N5.25. Let's c how it goes |
saibuhari:Thanks for sticking your neck out for this stock. Better to give option on a stock or 2 than doing guess work on 8-10 stocks (saying it's Stock Pick Instead of admitting say na KaloKalo). I'll take necessary steps based on my RISK APPETITE. 1ce again, thank you |
Getting set to throw my HAT in the ring. Oando and Dangote Flour comes to mind. @Saibuhari- pls do the needful BUT pls don't list too many stocks like my brother ![]() |
cadno:I guess as much BUT Cash is still KING IMO till change of GOVT sails through peacefully and direction of policies/focus of govt is reeled out |
#justpassing by, una welldone o |
This SKYE bank result is the WORST so far in Banking industry that i've seen in a long While i.e. PAT, PBT, Loan Loss Expense. Tooooo badddddd |
Hello somebody, #justpassingby |
I'm taking a break from NSE stock market activities after liquidating all investments, i do hope to be back in July . I'll keep checking on you guys from time to time. I wish all smart investors a greenish portfolio. |
Most of these stock pick given by the gurus here is synonymous to a gathering of over 5,000 people in a church and the pastor announced that "there is somebody here with a headache". It's a no brainer cos there will definitely be more than 1 person with headache. Mention the penny stock to Ihediorama instead of telling him to keep checking movement on NSE on a daily basis. NSE is definitely an advanced gambling (kalokalo) ![]() |
For those in Vitafoam train, please be wise and take your profit ASAP otherwise Paper profit U are holding will soon become Mirage. Mercylicious spoke well. I duff my hat for SAI BUHARI as well |
bigass:Very attractive |
What is the present price of FCMB now? Somebody should help with the info pls |
Can somebody help me with the present price of FCMB? |
Buy!! Buy!!!! Buy recomendations all the time @ALL, please exercise caution in days to come cos i c d news of IMF advising another devaluation of Naira taking a toll on the NSE market in the short term if the info is not properly managed by the WHO is WHO |
pdozie:Yes, they will soon raise some fund (N40bn) in the capital market. Mind u the price has not been fixed yet, it's given that they will boost the price on the floor b4 announcing the deal. It's not a short term thingy. The lull in the market is general and it's for a very short time |
mercylicious:The result is just there, not fantastic. NI y-o-y = 17.3%, PBT = 9%, PAT = 5% |
When is FCMB going to release their Q1, 2015 result? |
Michael11stock:I think the news is getting real BUT whether that is enough to push the price Up North is another thing entirely. #flashbackto IEI in the case of Heritage bank acquiring Enterprise |
angelo82:Think twice on your decision, it's a fast moving train which is abt to park |
Proshare Nigeria @proshare Ashaka Cement : Expecting a rebound in 2015 on improved security conditions http://www.proshareng.com/news/26791/Ashaka-Cement-retains-NEUTRAL-rating-on-expectations-of-improved-security-conditions-Proshare … |
mercylicious:Happy birthday to a wonnderful contributor on this thread. LLNP. I don't have any thought of dealing on Oando for now. FCMB is the way to go, i stated this in the morning, WATCH OUT!!! |
Josh121:Sorry, do i need to eleborate on it? I don't think so . UBA has reached its elastic limit, you may take your paper profit also |
@ALL, take your profit on Oando NOW unless you want to go 'LONG' on it |
Watch out for FCMB, It will soon leave the Car Park |
@PETERICHY, please spare us this old news that is more than 1 month old. I guess you bought when it was selling @ N30 and you think this kind of news will freak guys that are constantly updated 24/7 on news surrounding Oando and other stocks. You are guest visitor, pls post latest updates on shares/coys and not dig up old news. Thank you as you fall in line ![]() |
Chibuking81:I've bought Transcorp 2X within 3 weeks but sold off (No Gain, no Loss) cos of fear of incurring unncecessary loss BUT if it mistakenly drop to N3, I'll go in with full force ![]() |
Redoil:You don't need to be a 'Seer' to know that owing to the massive BID on the stock today BUT the 10% gain may not last the whole trading period 2moro. |
Josh121:Brother, Please don't ever make such mistake on a stock like Eterna again. I'll advise you to watch the market keenly and dispose off in tranches even @ a minimal loss. On Oando - Make HAY while the sun Shines. It's not yet UHURU @ all, i have a feeling CASH is KING now. I may need to sit back and watch from the stands. |
