I just shared an informative article and didn't intend to create an argumentative thread. You can do well by sharing your knowledgeable ideas to prospective dog owners as well and stop planting fear & hatred towards a profession.

Ain't planting hatred towards the Vet profession bro, This profession we are talking about has had lots of impacts in my life... Infact all I know today and can do in terms of animal's health is attributable to Vets.
But what i'm just saying in essence is that a lot of vets don't have in depth knowledge of breeds diversity unlike a breeder......

My weights are behind u 100% @ Egorov, A lot of vets don't know anything about breeds of dogs buh some claim to know a lot about breeds..... Just yesterday, had an argument with a Vet friend of mine who claimed that the only true breed of GsD are the ones with black and Tan coat and he was hell-bent on this!!! Just imagine, I kept schooling him and ask him to consult Google buh the guy claimed that it's bloggers and people like "Me" who posted pictures online.
Now imagine a pet owner who knows nothing about breeds taking his dog to him for treatments/Check up and asking him about his dog breed, he will just misinform the client and as a result, that can lead to something we both can envisage right now....

God bless you! I also wondered ooo, a lot of things gave him up, like their erect ears (Imagine the whole 3 has fully erect ears already @ 8wks), These dogs i'm looking @ should be closing in on their 4th month.

I have let it slide, but the big question is, is he ready to listen?

Beside, I can't call him to make amend, he should be the one calling me to see how we can forge ahead with the situation. I am sure he does not have my number again, I am not being arrogant just saying the plain truth.

I was expecting him to publicly say something meaningful, or even call me privately on how we can work something out, but all he kept saying is I am the fault.

You just spoke my mind bro.....I can't see any form of sympathy nor remorse from the so called professional. It's a good thing someone has promised to give you a pup, Just let it go bro, we learn everyday.

You did the right thing by not unleashing your dog to fight them, it is wrong in all senses to do so. What the local dogs did is quite understandable because that is their territory and your dog walking around there posed a threat to them and all they could do was bark and feign an attack.

I have been monitoring it since and never noticed the heat.
But what's the time frame between heats in dogs that what I want to know.

The interval between heats in dogs is an average of 6 months (Especially for a dog that didn't mate during the previous one), And I will advise you mate her now as she's definitely mature enough (Even if this is her 1st heat)...... I bet you won't regret mating her now.

There's an oral ivermectin called CONCIMECTIN, It's used to delouse and deworm in poultry, Buh it works like magic in killing ticks in dogs, Use @ 1ml to 9kg body weight. NB ; Mix it with milk for dogs to easily ingest it coz I think the taste isn't sweet.

just before this time next month it should be cleared, Its just that i need a competition for my GSD,she has been picky with food,I just felt that getting another dog would get her to value food more.

You are very right, Competition is key for this German shepherds! Mine used to do lots of shakara b4 I introduced some gluttons to the pack, Now she eats even without meat..... She was so spoilt that if I serve her noodles/rice with chicken, After consuming the chicken she will have to be pacified to consume the rice/noodles.

Can't just imagine what will come out of these combo, They will be AGGRESSIVELY FUGLY!!!
