dealhunter:Ok sir, I am sorry didn't mean to offend you. |
calabaman:Sometimes you don't want to lose some important stuff you got on a phone |
WesleyPepper:Oga even the Federal government knows that civil servants have not been paid their December salaries. You're are saying all doctors have received salaries, infact how many doctors do we have in the civil service? |
The police did a wonderful job here, wish they could extend this kind of effort in picking up other criminal elements whose videos we see trending on social media platforms. |
Illegal possession of firearms is Nigeria's major problem. All efforts to solve insecurity without curbing illegal possession of firearms are just a waste of resources. |
It is deeply concerning to hear the Nigeria Police dismiss the actions of one detained minor as "acting a script," especially when the real issue at hand is the harrowing conditions these children have reportedly faced. If these 76 minors—all under 18—appear malnourished and frail, should we believe their skeletal condition is also part of a "script"? These young individuals need empathy, not accusations of theatrics. Instead of deflecting blame, the focus should be on understanding the reasons behind their protest, safeguarding their well-being, and upholding their rights. |
Kaiser20:Where in Nigeria is the value of human life respected. |
This is where we are coming from 👇🏾 IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem. I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria. The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me. Happy reading: 1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki 2. I didn't give order - Jonathan 3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu 4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George 5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa 6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena. 7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi 8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa. 9. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG. 13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution. *There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.* WHERE ARE THE #WAILERS? "Over 20 billion dollars unremitted to the Federation account, and if nothing is done by 2015 upward, Nigeria will know what economic crisis is" *~ Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi* "Whoever wins 2015 will NEVER find it easy to govern. Over 30 trillion is mismanaged, unaccounted for or missing under Jonathan." *~ Prof Charles Soludo* "Our reserve is depleted and our savings are squandered. Our nation is in trouble." *~ Dr Oby Ezekwesili.* "For seven months, NNPC did not remit any money into federation account. When I called as a sitting governor and major oil producing state, Deziani Alison Madueke refused to pick my calls." *~ Godswill Akpabio* "I told them to save ahead of eventualities but Jonathan had no political will to do so and this is the reason why we are in crisis, because we squandered our boom." Only Peter Obi agreed. *~ Okonjo Iweala* "Okonjo-Iweala, Sanusi urged us to save but we state Governors refused to save for the unseen future during the tenure of Goodluck Jonathan, despite warning from economic experts." I was the only governor who supported the CBN governors advise. *~ Peter Obi* "Jonathan is a blessed ATM machine that doesn't have secret pin number" *~ Bala Mohammed* * Tompolo was paid 13Billion.! * Ex-CDS,Alex Badeh dug a pit toilet to hide $32m. * Patience Jonathan is claiming $31m, she has sued the Nigerian state. * Femi Fani-Kayode took 740M. * Dasuki used trucks to load over $3.5B from the CBN. * Olisa Metuh took 400M as consultancy fee for no job * Aziboala, GEJ's cousin took 6B naira. * Nenadi Usman took 3.5B naira. * Fayose took 3B naira. * Obanikoro took 4Billion naira. * Olu Falae took 100M naira. * Tony Anenih - 400M naira. * Oritsejafor - $35M was transported via his private jet * Former Air Chief Amosu - 2Billion naira. * Lucky Igbinedion - 16B naira. * Bode-George and Dabo - 100B naira * Jolly Nyame - 2.4B naira. * Joshua Dariye - 700M naira. *Nyesom Wike stole - #4b. * Diezzani with $20 billion missing oil money? * 2.5 billon dollars missing from arms fund, 10 billion naria, converted to dollars and given as gift to delegates of PDP Nation convention, Bafarawa collected 3 billion for spiritual purposes , 12. 7 billon naria for deceased NEPA staff grew wings and disappeared, 20 billion dollars missing from NNPC accounts, 23 billon naira as bribe to INEC staffs to rig the general election. I thought Rufai had become accustomed to this kind of social media dragging. I didn't expect him to descend so low to reply the such. |
Did he mean stepping into Aso Rock. Because that is where the solutions to all these problems are. |
Politicians blaming citizens for protests, particularly when their own actions have incited such unrest, is a clear evasion of responsibility. This behavior undermines the legitimate grievances of the public and shifts focus from the core issues needing resolution. By accusing citizens of sponsoring a hijacked protest, these politicians deflect criticism and avoid addressing the root causes of the discontent. This tactic can deepen public distrust in government, exacerbate tensions, and delay meaningful dialogue and solutions. Responsible leadership requires acknowledging citizens' concerns and working collaboratively to address them, rather than resorting to blame and deflection. |
Must this government find who to blame for their failure? |

To stop this I think a thorough investigation should be carried out to find out what could be the cause of the problem. No sane person would just wake up and decide to plan an attack on innocent security personnels on duty. In most cases something must have triggered such action. |
EasternActivist:Excellent analysis. |
This things happen in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. Nigerians living in fear and paying money to prominent criminals to avoid attacks. |
omoredia:The moment you make the effort to arm your community for self-defence, that's when you will realise that Nigerian security is really working. |
Pimiento:God bless you, bro. |
I don't believe every video I see on the internet nowadays since I realized that people edit videos to suit their own agenda. Some to seek sympathy, some to incite hatred against another etc. |
Namaster:Hahaha.. na wa for you oo. But she is paying it's not for free. |
Retaliation could provide some consolation but it doesn't bring back the soldiers instead it exposes more soldiers to risk. I expect the army to be pushing for legislative amendments that would give them an edge when embarking on this kind of engagements. |
It pains me deeply whenever I hear about the death of military personnel. And it even pains me more when I don't see efforts in place to forestall future occurrences. May the souls of the murdered soldiers rest in peace and may God grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss. |
CodeTemplar:It's very sad but the practice isn't going on only in the universities. Most Polytechnics and tertiary institutions have a lecturer who decides the faith of students. And nobody checks them. |
So this is also an achievement. Abeg na who do us? |
Lizzysamuel:Pos operators? |
Next is the illegal possession of firearms. |
The plan is to get a proper database to enhance tax collections. |
That's grace. |
Creamypie:I have said this a several times. One major difference between the soldier and a civilian is the weapons. And as long as the government keeps treating firearm crimes with kid gloves the crime will keep increasing. |
Being broke is not funny. Be prudent with the resources God has blessed with if are yet to experience brokenness. To those already experiencing it, help might come from somewhere but never expect help. You got yourself in and it's only you who can get you out. Imagine opening up to someone and they promise to help only to give you an amount that you can dash out even in your broke condition. You have no option you must show appreciation. Else they say you're ungrateful and have a sense of entitlement. |
