I visited Barclays today and I noticed having dependants (children) lowers to a great extent the amount of mortgage one can access. So, I was wondering if it is compulsory to declare them and if they have a way of confirming because the amount it reduced no be here ooo? |

I need to be serious about our mantra of, "RENT MONEY IS DEAD MONEY" this year mbok. Has anyone heard of Tembo Money? They said they could guarantee professionals mortgages of 5.5/6x of salary if one uses them but at £499. Is it worth it and who has used them? @Ticha @Lexusgs430 @semmyk |

Lexusgs430:Thank you, sir! Between renting council housing or from a private Landlord, which one is the best assuming UC covers the rent? Does it make sense to even rent and live in council housing at all since people don't talk much about it here? |

tobbyoladejo: I am not certain if you can apply for passport renewal with 15 months remaining on your current passport. Typically, it is recommended to renew a passport when there are six months or less remaining before it expires. However, there may be a system in place for renewing a passport with more than six months remaining, but it may require paying a higher fee. I know of two people who renewed their passports in Nigeria with between 10-12 months remaining, but I do not have information on how they were able to do so. They told me there is a mechanism for such and all they did was pay a higher fee. Regarding the postal order, the information provided is correct. In the UK, you will need to pay a fee of £250 by postal order to replace a damaged or lost passport. It may be helpful to seek input from individuals who have successfully renewed their passports in the UK with more than six months remaining on their current passports. Do you have a photocopy of your passport photo page with you? The new passport pages are laminated so I am sure there's no room for moulds again. Cheers! 2 Likes |

Tobexin: You don't need to reschedule again if you have started the process. A similar thing happened to me and I just returned to finish it off another time. The security won't stop you and if they did just tell them you are a returnee applicant and they will allow you to enter. Also, do start from the group floor. Just go to that woman and she will clear you to go for your biometric. Cheers 3 Likes |

Hello everyone. Kudos to @tunlex01, @bellong, and others who have kept the thread going. I want to submit my documents to Vetasses for assessment. I will appreciate those who have successfully assessed for Agricultural Scientist and or Agricultural consultant to help me out. I will like your guardians and also help review my documents. Thank you. 1 Like |

BorisJohnson:Yes, it doesn't but I thought if one fulfills one of the conditions (in here is fulfilled an exemption from immigration control) then one can claim public funds? I'm now more confused than ever before. |

justwise: With GTB, I had a similar experience. It was horrible and unpleasant, and I had no choice but to abandon it until I returned home. They charged me for the replacement card, and when I went to pick it up, they informed me that it had been over a year and that I would have to pay another fee for a new card. I'm not going to renew when the current one expires. 1 Like |

Lexusgs430: @Lexusgs430 and other Ancients and modern, your advice are highly needed on this matter. I am currently working here but planned switching to a student visit by January to start my Ph.D. study. I need advice on whether to continue renting accommodation or I should try to go the mortgage route as I currently have the required 15% deposit but I don't know if I am qualified to access mortgage on a student visa. I will appreciate various suggestions. Thank you all. 1 Like |
