@osat02 I applied in abuja on the 9th September but got the sms alert on Monday 26th. but it was written on my visa that it is valid from 21st September and was issued in Lagos!! Pls is any other person going to Aberdeen? @justwise I hail again o, BABA!

Finally collected my visa yesterday @ abuja. surprisingly the date on my passport was on 21st September. thankyou @justwise and everybody who contributed to making this successful. And to @ell77 I thank u immensely for the personal advices. God will surely answer all our prayers. I'm leaving for my school in Aberdeen on Saturday. Goodluck to others yet to get theirs

No. She wasn't specific. She said its just a hint that I should call the Lagos office for specifics

after calling them up to 30times without them picking. They finally picked and the lady said that they are now sending Abj applications to Lagos for now and they r still on August applications. She gave me their Lagos number which has been busy, I gave up after trying for about 2hrs before giving up. I no de understand this people o

What a pathetic story! :O @carfreak I don't believe your branch will know when they r verifying your account. They can easily ask the nearest branch to them or d bank's headquarters to get your account information. Like in @dellman's case they have already verified his account before his Bank called him. For me I'm already discussing with my school for an extension, my latest start date is 3rd October. I believe you will get a positive result when u get there on Monday

@raphok I have no problem with my transcript. Was just asking cos its quite a gruesome task to get a transcript from my school. They normally choose to post it themselves. So I was thinking about substituting with my statement of result. Lucky me, I was able to convince them that they should not post it and I've received it today. So I'm good to go. Will have to get to abj tomorrow and submit by Thursday. Thanks for your concern @justwise thanks for everything

@raphok did u submit a Waec certificate? Also, which one did u use, btw your university certificate or statement of result in place of the transcript
