@understudy Thanks, what's private accommodation like in Dundee because I did not book for the hostel

It could range from 250 to 400 pounds depending on the location, apartment quality etc. You may still have to pay electricity and internet bills tho. School accommodation fall slightly in d same range but with the bills already taken care of by the uni. It all depends on whether u wanna stay close to uni and ur coursemates or u wanna stay in the city centre. I stayed in d school accommodation till after my 2nd semester exams. Then I moved out to town.

@ alaki,yes i applied @ vfs abj,i've been going there coz its not far from my house n i was there today as well,majority of those dat got theirs today &past few days are those who submitted around 25,26,29 august and a few of those who submitted early september,i met 1 person in particular who submitted on d 8thsept n who got his today as well.So lets prayerfully hope ours come out on monday as i saw some consignments(bags containing passports) coming in b4 i left the centre

I will b leaving d day after I collect my visa(or maybe dat day sef) n abt my accommodation,my parents have already paid d full school's accommodation so I've gat nothing 2 worry abt only if I dn't lyk der accommodation sha.

I have sumthng which is confusing me, i want to use two accounts for maintainance, one is joint account which has more than 7200 pound and cover 28 days while the other one is my own account with my only name bt it has 6000 pound and it doesnt cover 28 days, and i want to show both accounts.Can my own account affect my application?please mr justwise and others help me on this.

About d post study work visa, I know nothing abt it.

I'm not sure if Scottish govt has different work program but as far as psw is concerned. . . its ending next April.

You are going to have prob with joint account, put the money in ur own account for 28days to stand a better chance.

@Boy 619, you said your school starts by january. Sorry, which school are you applying to. Because I'm still searching for schools around the uk with the january resumption. Hope to hear from you soon @Boy 619.

@Boy 619, Publicly owned colleges are not universities. They are just funded by the uk government. But most private colleges are owned by pakistains and indians. But some colleges are publicly owned and sponsored by the government. So the new uk system doesn't permit does going to private colleges to work. But 95% of the universities in uk are funded by the government and thereby allowing international students to work 20 hours weekly why does going to publicly owned colleges can work 10 hours weekly. But private college r nt allowed to work. @Boy 619 did your college tell you that you would be permitted to work? If nt ask them. I have been sending west london college email but they don't respond to my email. I want to apply for admission for january resumption. I just hope I get work permit from the college.

Thanks swagger 4 ur reply, the college alert me on MAY that students of private college will not able to work and told me this wil come into effect on JULY,so i tried my best to overcome this new rule hence i did my visa appl. on june bt unfortunately i gt refusal,hence i decided to shift to jan intake,bt i knw that i wil nt b allowed to work bcoz college told me themslves.PLz cn u mention some public owned college and hw there fees range from?@swagger

@Boy619, I have been browsing through the internet in search of publicly owned colleges but it hasn't been easy for me. But an agent told me that each city in the uk have publicly owned colleges that is funded by the government. There is one publicly owned college I know of which is city college manchester. But publicly owned colleges tuition fee is not quite different from priveately owned colleges. It varies, depending on the course u r going in for. It shouldn't be anything more than €5,000 or even lesser than that price. @Boy 619 why can't u apply to a university instead. Why not get a degree instead of wasting money on diploma courses in colleges. Although universities r quite expensive but one can get financial aid from the university. It worths going to uni's than going to colleges where u r not permitted to work. I wonder wht I shud be doing in the uk when I'm nt permitted to work. @alaki,mine too has not changed o,i've even been calling d visa enquiries line since n its as if dey dn't want 2 pick my call(n blieve me its not as if dey r not wit d fone o cos @ one point wen i called it was saying user busy n immediately wen i tried it again it went thru but nobody picked d fone).
they shld just pick my call n give me an update on wat's happening.
