Why has he not been disbursing directly to local government even after supreme court made pronouncement on it. Government of lies and propaganda So you are saying local government are not receiving their funds directly from federal government right now? Only states not receiving such funds are those that were run the way Obi ran Alambla with no local government elections for 7 years. Such local government will not be paid. |

Politics › Re: 2027: Respect Power Rotation; Let Tinubu Finish Second Term, APC Chieftain Tells by alanto: 4:02pm On Jan 18 |
Ofunaofu: You wrote plenty, but said very little of substance. Let’s simplify the history you’re trying to bend.
First, Nigeria’s Constitution, not gentleman’s rotation agreements is the supreme law. Jonathan became president constitutionally after Yar’Adua’s death and won a fresh, nationwide mandate in 2011. That mandate was not borrowed from the North, leased from anyone, or subject to later cancellation. Once elected, his term belonged to Nigerians, not to regional power brokers.
Second, the claim that GEJ owed the North an exit in 2015 is pure political blackmail, not principle. If rotation were sacred, why did the North contest and lose against him in 2011? Have you suddenly forget the infamous statement 'the dogs and baboon will be socked in blood'. You can’t accept an election when you win and suddenly discover rotation only when you lose.
Third, the irony is loud, the same people who insist Jonathan “overstayed” after one full elected term are silent about Tinubu, whose mandate has produced historic hardship and division, yet now want 'it's the turn of the south treated as holy writ. Rotation is only important when it protects power not when it serves Nigerians
Fourth, invoking Yoruba proverbs and name-calling doesn’t change facts. Jonathan conceded defeat peacefully in 2015, saving Nigeria’s democracy. That single act earned him global respect something propaganda can’t erase.
Finally, Nigerians are not revising history; they are living with the consequences of today’s governance. And in 2027, votes will not be cast to return 'it is the turn of the south,' but to end failure. What are you saying? After Obasanjo it was supposed to be north until 2015 if Yar'Adua hadn't died? It was honorable for north to contest in 2011 because it was still their turn but not honorable for Jonathan to recontest in 2015 because north already lost 6 years of their turn. It was only sensible of Tinubu and Buhari to work together to save the rotational something or north can decide to do 50 years if Buhari had gotten there all by himself. I wouldn't expect you to understand. |

It has nothing to do with Tinubu, and who told you GEJ abandoned South east, the airport transformations and 2nd Niger bridge project he kick started including Onitsha sea port.. the only thing that stalled SE development was the defeat of GEJ. If Jonathan won second term SE would have been the envy of Nigeria, something I guessed your people perceived that made them sell out the south to APC north. Next time don't talk rubbish here or over hype Tinubu he has nothing in the SE Too many confusion and denial in one post. I cant keep up. |

That's some Nigerians for you.
Some adults knowingly support leaders like Peter Obi, Nnamdi Kanu, Ojukwu, Ekpa. But will accuse people following a genius as tribalistic. If you like open a million thread to make your tribalistic blames stick. Nothing will change my support for Tinubu because we are never going to have another in this life time except the leader will come from Jupiter. If na from all these present crops of politicians and their proteges, we go tey well.
For the first time a presidential aspirant and later as a candidate said things will be hard at the beginning of his government but will get better over time. We bought a plastic of garri for ₦3700 but now its ₦900, a derica of rice for ₦2000 now it's 900, a derica of beans was ₦2000+ and now it's ₦600. Inflation has never decreased in Nigeria if not we will not be where we are today. For the first time a president is paying directly to local government, a president is building Coastal and superhighway in Nigeria. I swear una de whine. Which brain Atiku get wey he no borrow OBJ in 8 years? Which brain Obi get wey make am fix all Anambra money for bank because of interest? Never seen governance so low, na Obi and Yaya Bello be colleagues.
