I am yoruba but christian and really tired of muslim troubles.....can we just divide the country? I can't bear living in a muslim country. |
Igbo President will be a very hard task. Neither i nor my offsprings willingly vote for an igbo man. Not with the amount of hate and bile exhibited towards the Yoruba Nation these past few years. The prophet needs to understand this, the veracity of the issues raised notwithstanding.... |

owobokiri:Nigga f*ck off! what you talking abt? igbos only have themselves to blame for their present predicament. Yorubas have made it clear that we are indifferent to your suffering, what else do you want? Please stop whining and muster the courage to attack Nigeria or forever enjoy 5th class status in Nigeria. |
I m yoruzba and i find the postulation of O; and his minions repulsive to say the least. I cant type much but all i have to say is that most yorubas want igbos gone frm our lands. We dont care abt biafra. Igbo must get their country! |
searchiing4love:aa You lie! i am yoruba and i hate igbos. Why are you deceiving yourself? |
I m glad u r advicing your p pble. pls go back home. |
Mods please lock down this thread. We dont want to go tribal here do we? Please lets maintain the maturity in this section. Thanks. |
Me i am tired of the hate in Nigeria at the moment. The igbos are very stubborn pple and i think yorubas are getting worn out/tired at engaging them on social media (i am definately). My advice for igbos is to try and see if they can defeat the hausas in a free for all/winner takes all war. Yorubas should jst ignore igbos on social media, their level of hate is too deep seated. # i don tire. |
Can we have the identity of the fraudsters? |
geraob1:its painful right?,Yeah, i know but life is hard for an igbo man in Nigeria. Better hustle biafra tight cos you aint getting shit from this nation. |
kadree:They cant say anything because guilt is haunting them. The igbos have a long way to go. Afterall said and done, these people want to rule me and my people? Olorun maje!!! The hausa man might be a murderer for Allah but he has loads of HONOUR and INTEGRITY. As long as Nigeria stands, the igbo man will never rule over other law abiding tribes!!! |
JohnsonOlanre:Who is stopping you from getting biafra?,We are tired of all these excuses, please get the hell out of Nigeria and dont come back! Igbos are a source of embarrassment to Nigeria! Yorubas now have oil so you can guzzle up the "oyel" with tubers of yam for all we care. Nuff said. |
i really feel for the igbos in Nigeria, they have really suffered. Igbos can count on yoruba support for the actualization of biafra. @Topic....i dont really see oil being discovered in the North but i earnestly pray that it is found for the sake of other ethnic groups in Nigeria. |
NCAN reporting from ikotun, Lagos State. We are not surprised....its our brothers from yisrael. |
Ugosample:Bro, dont say so ooo......yorubas are nt happy with all the igbo insults and the elites mhave taken note of the animosity while working on same. Not all posters on nairaland are nonentities. |
OP.....tell them. igbos have not seen nothing yet. The hitherto docile yorubas have woken up. We shall uproot igbos from our ancestral land. Insha Allah. |
The most gratifying point to note is that action is being taken to protect yoruba interest in lagos. That has been the kernel of the struggle. The igbos were warned though. |
Redoil:I dont want to get banned but i said it many times over that yorubas dont care if you leave or stay. Yorubas cant keep repeating themselves on this issue. About the hatred, yea thats true and its a mutual thing. |
I have been under a seemingly unending ban by the mods due to opinions expressed on the way forward to the biafran question. Shortly after creating that thread, i was disappointed firstly by the ban and the subsequent views of notable e-yoruba stalwarts i.e ycat and others i cant readily recollect on my true identity. My crime was advocating for the yorubas to join hands with the igbos to see to the realization og biafra so we can be rid of the igbos who keep blaming us for their every woe. I admit i made a huge mistake for trying to divide the yorubas on religious grounds and i am sincerely sorry for that, i was just a bit frustrated as to why we cant let the igbos go. Once more, i apologise to every yoruba youth on this board for that terrible gaffe and i promise not to repeat that again. Every one that knows me here can attest to my fanatical love for my tribe and the efforts i have put in to enlighten my brothers on the dangers posed by the igbos who want to see us destroyed. I was therefore deeply saddened by accusations from some yoruba youths that i might be working in concert with the igbos to divide yorubas. For the record, i am yoruba to the marrow and i want nothing else for the race than peace, progress and accelerated development, i would never work with any other entity to destabilise or sow seeds of discord amongst yorubas on nairaland. Therefore, i urge all yoruba on nairaland who by reason of that thread and my comments therein now think i am an impostor to please dispel such thoughts and accept my apology. Ti a ba fi owo osi ba omo wi, ao fi owo otun fa pada (pardon any mistakes made therein). I am so sorry and i urge on yorubas on this board to seek unity at all cost in the face of increased assault by the igbos. I wont end this article without commenting on the current bombardments of the militants in the creeks of lagos and the reaction of the igbos to same. The igbos by their comments on all social media outlets in Nigeria have further shown their deep seated hate for the yorubas and i am happy because my main job in here is being made easier. We yorubas should therefore not be surprised that igbos want war and bloodshed in yoruba land so that you can claim your pound of flesh for the biafran war. This is the wish and fervent prayer of most igbos for the yoruba nation and Almighty God will not grant their wish. We commend the gallantry and valour of men and Officers of the Nigerian armed forces who are taking part in operation awatse to decimate and dislodge unscrupulous elements and their sympathisers from Yoruba land, may Almighty God continue to bless and strengthen you. God bless Yorubaland God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
