sonnie10: Looks like you have one way ticket. Those are really expensive especially the return. Yeah kinda depending, I didn’t really know exactly when I would be coming back to the states so I decided to buy a one way ticket Whenever I’m ready to go back then I’ll buy my return ticket, Hopefully, it won’t be that expensive by next year when I buy one. |

Gerrard59: Interesting thread Alexandre7,
Thanks for sharing.
Quick one: you mentioned that only Americans, Canadians, EU citizens and Australians are allowed to use the "smart option" in Heathrow. Does this not apply to say Japanese, Singaporeans and South Koreans? I’m not completely sure but I do know that on the Big Screen T.V. there’re two lanes: Lane One (which’s the smart gate): British Citizens, EU Citizens, U.S. Citizens, Canadian Citizens, Australian Citizens & New Zealand Citizens Lane Two (which’s the regular Line): Other Nationalities Maybe I completely missed where it’s written that Japanese, Singaporeans & South Koreans are allowed to use the smart gate, I’m not really sure at this point but will make an effort to double check on my way back to the states if I decide to make another stop in London. |

evesdon4u: As we welcome you back home after 8 years, please be security conscious and take your personal security very serious. Boys are not happy at all and I know you are not the reason but please be safe while you are home. Just heard a bitter story about a friend that just came in from Morocco (a basketball player)...after chilling with friends for two days nonstop, same set of friends conspired, robbed and maimed the fellow and left him for dead. But that will not be your portion...just be safe! Thank you. I’ll be safe. |

RaptorX: People pls don't get it twisted, living in the US doesn’t mean you have money. Infact the trip to Nigeria is probably from a year or two of saving and by the time he comes back it's bills galore waiting. Not hating just trying to tamp down all the expectations of wanting to live in the so called abroad. Tell them, But knowing Nigerians they won’t believe you, Destiny differs I guess. |

pansophist: Did you intentionally choose this route? Because I wonder why you have to transit in Europe and middle east, especially when you didnt even spent days there. Never visited London nor Abu Dhabi before, So decided to spend couple of days there before heading to Lagos, I spent two days in London & two days in Abu Dhabi, Stayed at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel & Jumeirah At Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi. |
