The Pathfinder is not run on a CVT.

Reading is one thing.
Understanding is another thing.
Reading and understanding at the same time is not as easy as we expect obviously.
At no time did i say 2005 pathfinder run on CVT.
The guy i recommended demonstrated good understanding of CVT when issue came up with murano, so how much more a pathfinder?
You cld just have asked, it wouldnt have cost anything.
Im sure suggestions and recommendations would help this man solve the issue with his pathfinder.

The type of oil you used would have had a negative effect on the transmission which causes it to fail. Since the by pass was not done, that would have compounded the issue.
I might have to refer you to a nissan CVT transmission expert.

Check your transmission oil. When last was it changed? What Kind do u use.? The issue as declined is transmission related

But if you only want fuel economy, try the Nissan micra, Suzuki alto Kia picanto, Hyundai i10 and the rest in that category

But for the w 204 with eis fault, no Benz smart key would ever fail without giving signs except the driver is the kind that doesn't pay attention to little changes. It cannot just suddenly fail. And besides the latest model cla, glc and Co are equipped with push button. People are embracing keyless and smart driving now. If you still insist on conventional keys in 2017, then don't buy recent models. Even a 1998 c class w202 and e class w210 have some with smart keys. Bottom line, they never fail without giving signs

Please house, dry cell battery and the one with acid for cars, which one is better? I noticed dry cell batteries are nice but they hardly last for more than one year.
Also I need to know the price range of acid battery as I know the dry cell is around N12000

I can confirm to you that the dry cell battery you claimed to have bought for 12000 is fake except maybe its 45amps.that's why it hardly lasts more than a year. when I wanted to buy my battery 2 years ago,I personally went round to get opinions.found out some were claimed to have been made in China and cheaper and some were claimed to have been made in Europe which were more expensive.I also checked korean batteries from infinity being sold at isolo road side.I later met someone who recommended "arrow" brand to me.he sold 75 amp to me for 30000 with 2 years warranty.though I saw cheaper ones while I went round,I just finally settled for arrow and I haven't regretted buying it.but if you go to some insincere sellers,don't be surprised they have fake and original.and some are just sealed but not dry cell as you think.

1998 Benz does not use EPAS modern cars use period.

1. Ford explorer part Warranty stop at 3 years. The last year (that makes it 4 years) is basically changing engine oil and stuffs.

2 not all parts are included in the warranty. Catalytic converter is not included.

3. Based on your mileage the percentage of parts covered by Ford decrease.

Many vehicles use electronic power assist ..it's not peculiar to Ford.it's has been in use since 1965.Ford labelled it own EPAS..and yes 1998 Benz does not use.

Find attached a warranty page from Ford and kindly read more about warranty, it's more than 3 years or 36 000 miles whichever comes 1st,but since u were not the one who bought the said car,u can be excused.
Even if u claim catalytic converter is not included,whatever happened to steering rack

You obviously aren't familiar with gettin new cars ,one can import without coscharis or Briscoe.
In 2011,a brand new Venza 2011 was imported,everything including landing cost was 8.8m.till date with 43,000 miles,no major repair just routine service.
Kindly provide screenshot of mileage and invoice for the said 2013 Ford explorer..I don't think that should be hard..

EPAS has been in use even before 2013..nothing so special,it's just the absense of hydraulic pump so what's so special about that? As far as u are concerned,EPAS is one special program installed in the explorer so it's replacement should be expensive.No need talking to coscharis or Briscoe about warranty,cos it should be right there in the glove compartment. I can't buy a 2013 Benz and 3yrs later,the dealership would be asking me to pay for shock absorber rubber,catalytic converter and steering rack and I won't ask questions..why didn't I buy tokunbo instead? or except u bought it tokunbo and later took it to Briscoe when it developed issues.I can authoritatively tell u,provided your claim is true,if this person bought a 2013 ML 350 d same year he bought the explorer,till date,he would be telling u dat all he has been doing is routine maintenance.But I still doubt a Ford explorer bought new would have such issues in less than 3 years..I don't rule out the possibility of factory error,but I seriously doubt.if I see a screen shot of the invoice and receipt though,it would help my curiousity

And yes most explorers have that problem. It is a normal problem after a while.

When u see a check engine light on most ford, scan and the machine will read catalytic converter.

Depending on the offer and the seller,2m can comfortably buy a Benz from 2003 and above..not even including distress sales.
As per the 2013 Ford explorer,I wonder how a brand new car would have such problems in less than 4 years.I believe warranty covers New Ford vehicles for at least 5 years or 60,000 miles whichever comes 1st?? American cars are known to be rugged.it takes a while for even a 1998 Benz to develop steering rack issues under the same condition..
