Nigerian hip hop artiste, Olamide , turns a year older
today and the Internet is celebrating him as best as they
can.
Most of us know who the singer/rapper is but we
believe there are some things you probably don’t know
about him, so here are they;
1. He believes in hardwork. Olamide in the series of
interviews we have seen him appear on different media
houses, if there’s one consistent gospel he preaches, it
is hard work. But while he preaches hardwork, he also
emphasises on working smart, afterall it’s thesame sun
that shines in Malaysia that shines in Naija (watch the
interview below to understand)
2. His ideology on failure is worth emulating. According
to Olamide, everything he has gone through, his
failures and success stories were necessary for him to
be this great person he is. Olamide revealed that every
challenges he faced are challenges an artiste is meant to
face while rising to stardom… nice way to see things.
3. For those of you wondering what went down between
Olamide and Coded Tunes, well here’s the answer he
gave us… NOTHING. NOTHING happened between
Baddosneh and Coded Tunes. Olamide simply grew up,
graduated and moved on from Coded Tunes, which
according to him was the whole essence of signing him.
He revealed that Coded Tunes signed him not to slave
him, but to groom him to greatness and let him go
when he can do it on his own and that is what he’s
trying to do with YBNL.
4. YBNL is not a proper record label to Olamide. Atleast
the label is not on international standards where Olamide
is concerned, but if there’s one thing he is sure of, it’s
the fact that YBNL is a platform where the voices of
talented upcoming artiste are heard. The boss of the
label revealed that he doesn’t want the job of helping
everyone to be rested on his shoulder, rather he wants
to help a selected few and that selected few will in turn
help others and that way the ministry will grow better…
we think that is a nice way to help the society and its
bundle of talents.
5. Finally, Olamide has nothing but music. He has no
side “hustul”. For those of you wondering why Olamide
is releasing singles back to back, well the “iya la iya
anybody” crooner recently revealed to us that he has
nothing other than his music, and once he write and
records a song and considers it good enough or sees it
as something people will turn up to, he’ll drop the track
like it’s hot so you can rock till the break of dawn.
So for those of you wondering about this back to back
single release, (not that it shpuld bother you) suggest
another hustle for Olamide and let’s see what happens.
But before you suggest, listen to this interview of
Olamide on NotjustokTV.

Gary Cahill has hailed the impact of manager Antonio Conte at Chelsea and revealed the key ingredients to this season's success in an exclusive interview with talkSPORT. After a year in Leicester, the Premier League trophy looks set to return to Stamford Bridge with the Blues currently 10 points clear at the top, having won 21 of their 27 matches this term. They have impressively bounced back after a dreadful title defence last term, which saw them finish 10th after recovering under Guus Hiddink in the aftermath of Jose Mourinho’s departure. After a difficult start to 2016/17, a season-defining 3-0 loss at Arsenal in October was the wake-up call for Chelsea, which then saw them go on a 13-match winning run as Conte’s methods finally got through to his stars. READ THE REST HERE http://bluegistsdaily..nl/2017/03/gary-cahill-here-different-antonio.html?m=1 |
N’Golo Kante has been key to Chelsea’s success and looks destined to win successive Premier League titles. Cahill said of the Frenchman: “He has to be in consideration for it [the Player of the Year award], for sure. “Everyone has seen his qualities and what he brought to Leicester last season, with the story behind them winning the title. “To come to a new club he has stepped up again and been tremendous this season. He works hard and is a humble guy off the pitch and on it he is phenomenal. “I notice a lot obviously because he is just in front of me, he is winning balls he has no right to win and is also quality going forward – he breaks up play and bursts forward with the ball which eases the pressure on the back four and the team.” http://bluegistsdaily..com/2017/03/cahill-n-kante-deserves-this-award.html |
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has suggested captain John Terry still has a future at the club, despite reports linking him with the Stamford Bridge exit door. The former England defender has become a fringe player under Italian boss Conte, having played just ten games this season. Terry turned down moves to Stoke City and West Brom in January, but reports on Friday suggested he is now open to joining another Premier League club when his current Blues deal expires at the end of the season. Chelsea take on Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Monday and, having played in every round of the competition so far, Terry is expected to take to the field. And, speaking ahead of the game, Conte said he hopes it is not the legendary skipper's final game for the London club. “I hope [it won’t be his last Cup game for Chelsea] no... I don't know about this. I prefer every situation – my situation, my players' situation – to face this type of situation at the end of the season when it'll be the right time for everyone. “John is doing great work this season, on and off the pitch and, for me, he's very important in this season because he's the captain and, I repeat, he's working very well on the pitch and helping me a lot in the changing room. Transferring the right message. For sure, he's an important player for us.” However, Conte refused to confirm if Terry will start the Stamford Bridge clash. The Italian boss added: “I have to decide the starting XI. For sure, I try to make the best decision for the team. “We want to go into the next round, in the same way Manchester United do, so I'll try and make the best decision for the team. It's normal.” http://bluegistsdaily..com/2017/03/antonio-conte-john-terry-is-always.html |
Chelsea ace David Luiz has revealed he wants to return to Benfica before he ends his career. The Brazilian defender spent four years with the Portuguese giants prior to his first spell at Stamford Bridge, winning the Primeira Liga and three Portuguese League Cups during his time at the Estadio da Luz. It’s clear the 29-year-old loved his time with Benfica and he’s now hoping to either play for them again or to manage them in the future. And he admitted he hopes to win the Champions League with his former side. READ WHAT HE SAID HERE http://bluegistsdaily..nl/2017/03/david-luiz-am-dreaming-of-leaving.html?m=1 |
Pedro has yet again flown under the radar, but he's been crucial to Chelsea's Premier League charge. Pedro is a serial winner. He has five La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys, three Champions Leagues, a European Championship and a World Cup to his name – and he does not turn 30 until July. By that time he will likely have added an English Premier League title and possibly an FA Cup to his glittering collection of trophies. Only a smattering of players have ever come close to such a haul and, while his achievements are not unrivalled in modern times thanks to several of his ex- Barcelona team-mates boasting similar silverware, Pedro is currently proving to the rest of the footballing world just how adaptable he is. The criticism thrown at many Barcelona players down the years is that they can only play the way they do for the Catalans and Spain, and that they have never tested themselves elsewhere. This logic is of course flawed and a little clumsy, but there’s no question that building a second career in another country is a challenge for any footballer, no matter how talented. A poor first season at Chelsea saw Pedro take time to acclimatise. Indifferent form, niggling injuries and a club once again in turmoil saw the energetic forward soon linked with a return to Spain. By the time the 2016-17 season had started, Pedro had played under three different Chelsea managers in 12 months: Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink and Antonio Conte. Chelsea have proven to be specialists in high-profile transfers going wrong and Pedro could have easily gone the same way as Andriy Shevchenko, Fernando Torres and Juan Sebastian Veron. Each of those three also arrived at Stamford Bridge in the peaks of their respective careers – but all failed to deliver. Eden Hazard says he spent no time rewatch his brilliant goal for Chelsea against Arsenal earlier this month. Eden Hazard has revealed that he spent the rest of the day relaxing with his children after helping to fire Chelsea to a 3-1 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League earlier this month. Diego Costa's future at Chelsea has been thrown into doubt after the striker was dropped for Saturday's visit to Leicester City after a row over his fitness. The Daily Mail report that the 28-year-old clashed with a fitness trainer over an injury the player claims he is suffering from with the coach believing it to be exaggerated. Adding fuel to the fire are claims that the Spain international has been the subject of a huge offer from a Chinese club with a reported £30m after tax per year offer on the table for Costa. The former Atletico Madrid star, who has been in electric form this campaign, is reported to wish to speak to the club about the proposal but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and manager Antonio Conte are loathe to let the player do so. We were expecting this to happen yet the official confirmation still came sort of out of the blue. On Friday, Chelsea confirmed that they have agreed terms with Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG for the permanent transfer of Oscar. Previous rumors put the sale price somewhere in the region of £52-60m, either end of which range would represent a brand new Chelsea record sale. Oscar should be set to earn a net salary of around £20m — money that eventually proved impossible to turn down. Oscar will join his new club on January 1st, when the winter transfer window opens. Barring any surprise appearances in the two Chelsea games remaining until that http://bluegistsdaily..com/2016/12/breaking-news-chelsea-and-chinese-super.html |
Chelsea will be without Diego Costa in their Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Boxing Day after picking his fifth booking of the season in the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Spain international scored the winner at Selhurst Park, making him the Premier League's top scorer with 13 goals. But team-mate Nemanja Matic believes summer signing Batshuayi can replace the Spaniard against Bournemouth. “When you have Diego in the team it is very hard to get a chance because he is playing so well and scoring goals,” Matic said. “But I’m sure Michy is ready to take his opportunity because he is working hard every day. He is a good man. “We won’t have Diego against Bournemouth but I hope Michy will be the man to decide the game. If he does that it will be good for us. “He is a great striker, for sure, that is why Chelsea bought him. I’m sure if he gets a chance to score in the next game, he’ll take it.” Michy Batshuayi left Marseille for Chelsea in a £32 million deal over the summer but has barely featured under Antonio Conte this season - scored three goals in 15 appearances mostly as a substitute appearances. But Matic thinks the 23-year-old is learning from Costa like he did from the likes of Michael Essien, Michael Ballack and Frank Lampard. “Of course he has benefited from working with Costa,” Matic told the London Evening Standard. continue here http://bluegistsdaily..com/2016/12/matic-this-man-can-replace-diego-costa.html |

The experienced Nigerian midfielder would be an ideal signing for
Watford, according to the Chelsea player's international team-
mate
Odion Ighalo has called on Watford to sign Chelsea midfielder
John Obi Mikel in January.
The Nigeria captain plays with Ighalo at international level and
the forward would love it to be the case at club level too.
Mikel is out of contract at the end of the season and reports
suggest he could be sold in a cut-price January deal having not
made a first-team appearance under Antonio Conte.
The midfielder, 29, has been linked with a move to China, but
Ighalo wants to see him remain in the Premier League.
"I would like it if Mikel joined me at Watford," the striker told
reporters.
"He is my captain at the national team. Apart from that he is a
very good player, very talented.
"There is no team in the Premier League that will not want to
have such a player.
"I am happy I have played with him so I will be very happy to
have him in my team."
Mikel joined Chelsea back in 2006 and has won 10 major
trophies, including two Premier League titles and the Champions
League.

John Terry made his senior team debut in 1998 and quickly established himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League. Playing alongside experienced players like Dennis Wise and Marcel Desailly, these two helped shaped Terry into a tough centre-back. However, the 35-year-old has admitted it was something he always had in him - even from a young age - and he wasn't afraid to leave his mark on the senior players in training. "As a young player it was something that was in me," Terry said. "Off the pitch when I was really young I had so much respect for the first team players like Dennis Wise. "But once I was on the pitch I used to tackle the first team players, kick them, even though they were my idols. "I think the other players dealt with and respected that. "Marcel used to say to me ‘you’re a young kid, this is fantastic’. "When the older players used to say I couldn’t kick them, Marcel and Dennis Wise would say to them ‘leave him, he’s a young boy, he’s learning, he wants to win’." Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is set to make a shock move to bring his former midfielder, John Obi Mikel to Old Trafford from Chelsea. The Nigeria international has not played under new manager Antonio Conte and there are no plans to renew his contract which runs out this season. Mourinho is ready to take advantage of the situation with a cut-price New Year offer for the 29-year-old midfielder the Red Devils thought they had signed 10 years ago, according to reports from The Sun (click here ). Mikel had just turned 19 when the Old Trafford outfit announced on their website that they had signed him on a four-year contract from Norwegian club FC Lyn-Oslo. The £4 million transfer was done directly with the player and his club — bypassing his agents and he was even pictured in a United shirt. But Chelsea angrily claimed they had an agreement with the agents to buy him. Things turned nasty when it was reported Mikel started to get threatening phone calls and ended up having to take refuge in a safe hotel with a security guard. He then went missing from Lyn amid stories he had been kidnapped. Mikel had actually travelled to London where he went on Sky Sports to claim that he had been pressured into signing for United, something they denied, and he wanted to join the Blues. The matter was resolved when Chelsea paid United £12 million and.FC Lyn-Oslo £4 million. If a deal happens then it will be the second time Mourinho will sign Mikel, who he believes can play in a defensive midfield role in front of the back four. He needs that type of player to give £89 million Paul Pogba freedom to roam. LIKE THIS FACEBOOK PAGE FOR LASTEST CHELSEA NEWS https://facebook.com/bluegistsdaily/ |
