u are lucky he talked about pencils.
Is it the duty of govt to produce pencil for u?
What happened to entrepreneurial mindset?

This govt should provide for us mindset will never take us anywhere

Wawu! So why is it a government if it can't provide? So their yearly budget is for salaries and #GodWhen?

NASA that has been exploring the moon must be funded by Estate GoFundMe. Or maybe China's artificial sun was funded by Nigerians in diaspora.

This mindset is why billions of dollars is budgeted every year for security but I still have to pay for Estate security. This is why it is ok for communities to contribute to buy transformers.

Maybe before we even ask the youth to lead, let's teach them how to be led. Only then will they know what's expected of them

when Buhari signed the "not yo young to rule" he urged the youths to join politics and be ready for the leadership.

Till today there is no seriousness from them

Buhari that is urging the youths, how many youths are in his cabinet? In 2022 we have a Minister of Science and Technology that's above 50, why won't he talk about producing pencils.
Politics / Re: Not Too Young To Run: Are The Youths Ready ? by alfafemale(f): 4:08pm On Jan 25, 2022
If we can't run for President, let's gun for the legislative houses. Let's have a Legislative arm that is proactive and alive to the realities of the 21st century.

The Legislative arm needs to crawl out of the armpit of the executive arm, there's more to be done beyond tickling the executive. Having more youths who are not stooges of the old ones in the National and State Assemblies is a good step forward. Not these ones that parade their wives in the hallowed chambers.

We can come together collectively, create a gofundme account, select a reliable candidate and push him/ her to office.
That way, we will have a say in the affairs of the nation.

The GoFundMe that produced #change and #nextlevel? Nobody should sell poverty and sob stories to us anymore. All of us dey street dey hustle. I'm not giving shingbain!

The solution is for the government to make and implement laws and policies that regulate the activities of these political parties. You can't be preaching inclusion on one hand and with the other raise the bar beyond what's reasonable. There should be a reasonable ceiling for tickets, and campaign expenses.

But even the Not too young to run law is lip service. Law that is not even worth the paper it's written on. Where's the implementation strategy? How many Nigerian youths can afford PDP and APC tickets

The government needs to create the enabling environment for the law to be implemented.

..and the youths? They are busy jostling for Youth leader and SA to the SA to the SA positions, when their mates dey lead countries.

No you didn't Diss Dillish but you obviously hate the possiblilty of anything between her and Melvin.

now go back to the Melvin's interview, read well and objectively. Then go back to may post and read what i said about them and if I'm "forcing" them to be together.

Like someone said here, most of Mellish fans or rather most of the people who noticed the chemistry between them are married/older people. That's because we can see what you guys cannot see yet. Everyone in my office who watches BBA are even more sure of Melvin's feelings than I am and we all agree that Steven is the only barrier between them. You definitely do not expect Melvin to say that he is going go after Dillish after seeing Steven on stage, he ll definitely want to save his face. I remember kevin also kept saying that Elizaberth was just his friend until we suddenly heard of their engagement! I also remember saying that keliz will never be but my neighbour being older and more experienced in love matters told me to wait and see.
Nobody is forcing them, we are just saying what we have observed and we like it cos Dillish is the kind of girl you'd wish on your brother.
Simple!
And like I have said countlessly, whatever rocks Queen Dillish's boat is fine by me. Whoever make her happier is welcome.

Dunno why I came back to this thread sha.......
what kind of movies have u been watching GEEZUS lady!!!!

Mehn the self esteem of an average Southie is minus 1. One said its not fair, Uti is campaigning for Melvin nd not Bev cos she is in love with a Southie. Like Uti cares who Bev gets down with

Now,i just want ya'll to know that if melvin wins on sunday, its beacause Africa loves him and voted for him cos he deserved it and not cos of some syupid AAV shyte.....
If the AAV didnt work for Bassey, then why should it work for Melvin?
