Just woke up to the blaring sirens of police vans and have been searching for any related news ever since. At around 7pm yesterday, there was a standoff between some robbers and police men at the la med pharmacy between phcn office and oasis bakery, secretariat round about, in jos. I couldn't and wouldn't hang around, not in the biting cold and for personal safety. I hope the security personal were able to stay on top of the situation with them showing up in an armoured car and several vans. Any update will be appreciated. |
For a newbie, will you be on hand to provide a step-wise approach? And answer any relevant questions |

LadyGoddiva:sorry o, but how you reason am? the pikin go 'fall' on them? |
mespusinglez:Oh yeah |
Kudos to him and to the future of the NPFL! The leadership of NFF should sit up and do the needful FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME instead of bickering amongst themselves. |
egbetokuns:That be cool. I hope you are in it for the long haul though, cause with this kind of things one must really plan. |
The rain falls (rainfall) but doesn't break The day breaks (daybreak) but doesn't fall. |
Put a bounty and you might be surprised at how much information the "intelligence" community will get. |
It's all wonderful to blow our horn every once in a while. But we should live aware that we are not where we once were and we are not where we should be either. |
I hope their prices drop a notch. I'm aching for a new E0S! |
ikbnice:Is it possible to prove scientifically that the product is defective? Observations can be helpful in pointing us to the right direction but you will need hard facts to lay on them. You'll also need to know what regulations the product has Failed and how injurious it is to health. I don't know for a fact if we have a consumer protection council and their mode of operation, that is if we have one. But the research can lead you to something helpful. A complaint to nafdac and SON can come in handy, plus get across to any non gov'tal organization that deals with such matters. I'll ask Google and see what I can dig up. |
Wow, the capital punishment is still enforced in Nigeria? Such a young life gone down the drain. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. I hope others learn from this. We must always protect the sanctity of life. |
You're here because you are obviously torn between choices. Blowing the whistle can simply involve notifying the appropriate regulatory body with the discrepancies and any worthwhile information. That can simply be done online. Or you can decide to hold your peace if you feel that you cannot go through with it. Both decisions come with their attendant consequences which you must weigh thoroughly and ready your mind for. At the end, you must only do what you believe to be right, cause you will live with the consequences of your decision. |
It is a "quest" indeed. An ultimate one at that. |
Gotta go get mine! Precious!! Precious!!! |
This could turn out to be a great investment for those with the heart and stomach for it. An overall great idea, but requires a few spelling checks and all. Plus no details were provided, like is the training online, how much will it cost, etc or are those details provided in the video through the links? If that is the case, a heads-up will be really nice. |
Quite helpful. I hope some nairalanders see this. It sure will help alot. |
[quote author=whywhyogun post=54020493]seems we need a poll here, even the woman-up-man-down pose could be ruled out, because only 49% of people say they like this pose. and you feeling happy for your victory of your sex predilection, such as the choice of memento, by thinking that, more people are thinking in the same way as you do . [/quotte] Polls abi. You can set up a committee while you are at it. |
whywhyogun:Do you feel sorry for me because I prefer to attach a shared sentimental value from a toy car from my beloved than a collection of pubic hair then I'll say go right on. I am sane and I can never apologise for that. You feeling sorry doesn't make you right either. As long as the feeling is mutual, it works for us. |
whywhyogun:It's not about the object.,its about the value you attach to it. And yes, something that valuable can be kept for a very long time. Depends on how much value the user attached to it. My dad still has the original plate number of his first car. And this is over 40yrs now. Pubes can stay a long time and are of a personal nature but I don't find it appropriate and I'm sure alot of people agree. |
whywhyogun:I get that, but momentous are better as everyday carry ons. A wristband or even a nut or a bolt can have great significance. A hair feels inappropriate. It's not African |
whywhyogun:It's highly sentimental but not substantial .how many strands do you want to carry about? And how do you explain it away? Just saying sha |
Eiww! Better a token, something of strong sentimental value. |
Okay... The last resort but not even close to a solution. |
Waiting! |
If indeed these accusations are true about the said foreign nationals, common sense would warrant that they involve the appropriate security agencies to handle the issues. The SAPD seems to have gone on an extended vacation though. For foreign nationals to come take over criminal enterprises in your country only shows that you own local bad boys are just that- local! They should read Mario puzo's the godfather to learn, that is if they can read. |
How sad. You ought to rejoice that our naira has gained value despite the economy. This is what we all have been longing for abi. Have a little faith in Nigeria abeg |
Well, I hope the naira continues to strengthen against the dollar. Call me a dreamer, but wouldn't it be just nice if the value of the naira and the dollar are at par? The naira once was more valuable than the dollar and I long for those days. |
