Mr Allan bros, pls do u have a reliable info on how many they will pick per state?? and also the other time u said the camp will b open in the next 3 weeks as at the time u said it. how abt that is it still gonna happen??

Hi guys, i just received a call 4rm DSS inviting me to come their office on Monday morning.

I wake up everyday since the beginning of March, feeling like today might just be the day we have all been waiting for.
I respond to every SMS and call tone as if this is it...the call or SMS have been waiting for!
Unlike before when I hardly care about my sms and missed calls...this days even if na MTN +555 call me I go still pick am cos I no wan here worries that touches the heart...
But am very certain about one thing and that for each passing day, we are getting closer to the big day and surely "victory is from God alone"!

Pls can u explain on "FCT havnt say anything yet on d recruitment test" because what we knw here is everything is done as for the cadets and detectives in all d states including FCT, what we r all waiting is the golden call or golden text directing us to report to camp. And hopefully any time from now..

boss its 10months, 6months in d training school, 3months I.T in ur state command den final month back in trainin school where u write and submit ur case project. Passing Out Parade and commissioning done at d end for all successful cadets. Dis is a confirmed info, believe me. Cheers

Pls during the first six months, is it allowed to move, lets say from Lagos to Abuja or any other part of the country, like in the weekends or person will stay till d first six months elapsed before he can move around. pls reply as usual bros... cheers

And my brother the painful thing is they regularly visit nairaland even yesterday I saw scoffield245 viewing this thread, bt he said nothing and engrfaruq he even disguised as an applicant. if you drop an info here nobody will ID you and atleast you help.

Actually my headache is how soon is this process will be over, then successful ones proceed to camp, because by delaying it or elongating the time many things will come in, including the influence of the politicians

pls Mr desdee101 reach ur contact pls let us knw when is the camp will be open, so that we stand strongly for prayers, this politicians they favour only their own in this country. pls reply to us, because many of us on this thread don't knw any Oga at the top.

Alright lemme tell u a bit abt DSS work. Pls be aware dat watever i xplaing here is based on my knowledge of d job thru my dad who is now retired after 35years of working with d NSO turned DSS. D first thing u may not like abt d job is TRANSFER. U may be transfered to any part of d country at any time, and u may be posted to any local government area jst as corpers are posted to interior villages where they dont like but they have no choice bt to go. That said, DSS personel in d state commands go to work 8am n close by 4, 5 or 6pm but nobody leaves d office until SDS, state director of service is out of d office. D primary assignment of all DSS personnel in all d LGAs in Nigeria is to PREVENT crime and chaos BEFORE it occurs. So they must mingle with pple of d locality so as to get information wch is reffered to as INTEL, wch is gathered over a period n submitted to HQ in d state capital to act upon it. Hq shares d intel with other security agencies, and necesary action is taken to prevent any loss of lives n property. Security report is submited to d state governor evry week, briefing him on security status of all d LGAs in d state, so as a DSS personnel u must knw how to obtain useful intel and to write report. Intelligence reports gathered by DSS personnel is what army n police uses to raid and arrest criminals in their hideouts... D secondary responsibility of DSS is to provide security for government officials referred to as VIP. Those are d DSS guys u see with governors ministers senators and d president, u must undergo a special training course bfor u a assigned d role of chief detail to any vip. So, all in all, officers dont have much stress in dss, its detectives ans ASOs dat do most of d stressful daily work in d office. As per d pay, its veeeery good, plus a mid-month payment called incentive, wch is a particular percentage of ur basic salary. I dont knw abt you sir, but me myself and I, am ready to go wherever d job takes me to, and whatever it requires me to do. Its far better n less stressful dan army and military wahala. i was in lafia as at when i registered on NL, dat doesnt mean am from there, am actually from Bayelsa state, so dnt fool urself with with d location on my profile. As a matter of fact i have useful info abt d DSS thing cos cos i knw my position... But sorry i wont say anything in d open... Let d speculations continue,. Bros am also with d opinion that it is 10 slots per state, because in their last two recruitments they commissioned 385 cadets. even if it is 10 slots per state its abt 370 that means there were additional 15 cadets from some where. So get ur facts right.
