RomanceRe: I Am Tired Of Hiding! by allanohize(m): 9:22am On Mar 29, 2011
Disgusting story! shocked

Please respect the decency of womanhood and quit both relationships VIOLENTLY right now! And you are not even ashamed to come and air it out here. When CM finishes with you, DR (driver) will take over. Then MS (messenger) too will have a shot!

Look, 99% of men never feel comfortable when they know someone who has f---kd their babes before, let alone a friend and surbodinate. If CM says he loves you its a lie!

Disgusting.
BusinessRe: With N20k One Can Start A Good Business. by allanohize(op): 2:25am On Mar 29, 2011
@amenke, I am exactly like too! I would never pay a kobo on something I am not sure of or I don't feel good about. But for me not to be sure of it, I must have made my investigations whose results will lead to my decision. Most people, especially on nairaland ignore this due process and just condemn any offer they hear whether its true or not. Consequently, good offers are often destroyed by people on this platform along with the fraudulent offers.

Again, networking is not network marketing!

I give you an example. I was a young graduate working with a government agency in 2001 when GSM came to Nigeria. MTN told Nigerians to come and register for distributorship for N1million, and that this money is only for registering. Then you must purchase a minimum of 1000 recharge cards from them every time you place an order which amounted to N1.5million naira (recharge cards were N1500 that time). I called them THIEVES and forgot about it, mostly because I did not have the money. But a police sergeant at Bar Beach police station, near where I was working, who had N100k saw the wisdom in it and gathered 9 other friends who raised the same amount and they registered as one. Then they advertised for sub-distributors who paid them 50k each for sub-distributor license. They got over N2million in this process which they used to commence business. At that time they were getting 1000 recharge cards for N1.25million as against the N1.5m I thought it would be and selling to their sub-distributors for at N1350 each. This means they made N100k on every 1000 cards they purchased. And they were purchasing 5000 cards every day minimum. That means, each of the 10 partners were making at least N50k per day!

Today, they all have houses at Lekki and other choice areas. Because they pulled resources together. At that time I could have done the same thing, but I did not have the wisdom this guy had. There are more opportunities like this today but we want to receive before we spend!

Its ok my brother, those that will make it will make it. Read our book, on sale on facebook, titled, A military Approach to Saving and Investing. Perhaps you will learn from it. We have sold more than 2000 copies since we put it on facebook.

You have my email, let me know if you need FREE counseling!
BusinessCompetition on Best Money Making Technique by allanohize(op): 1:22pm On Mar 27, 2011
I am giving away N10,000 each for the best 4 money making ideas that would be posted hereunder.

Post your best, most unique money making idea in the comments below. The best 4 ideas posted here will get one of my money gifts.

Criteria for money making idea:

1. It must be something you have actually tried and made money with.

2. You have to post the time it took you and how much take home PROFIT you received from the technique.

I’ll be judging the techniques based on uniqueness, ease to implement, and time involved. If you don’t have a money making idea, traffic generation techniques are acceptable as well, as long as you have actually generated a lot of traffic with the technique.

IMPORTANT: Even if you don’t have an idea yourself, I highly recommend you come back and visit this post within 24 hours to learn from the others!

Nairalanders, the floor is yours!

We received 22 requests for further information and treated the first 20. Only one of these requests came from nairaland and it was one of those we didn't treat. The others came from facebook.

Facebook is a social networking site, not a social network marketing site. Read the story of how they started, it was through networking of ideas, skills and funds. What are we waitiing for? We have projects that could also be globally recognised and the people we are looking for only need to share their ideas about these projects with us. They will learn as we develop the projects to completion. Gaining experience in the process.

Some weeks ago, we needed Portuguese speaken Nigerians to teach English here in Brazil in preparation for the large number of translators and guides the country would be needing when they host the world at the 2014 world cup and 2016 olympics. We advertised on nairaland. We could not get up to 2 serious people. We conceded all the Nigerian slots to Ghanaians.  embarassed

Most successful projects are so only because many good heads scrutinised them before they were developed fully. When I was still in campus, some friends met me and asked me to join their group of real estate investors. We each needed to contribute R$1000 (about N90,000) that time. Thirty of us met and pulled the money together. We started by buying a small house and renting it out. Then in a few months time we bought another and so on. Today we have over 30 houses and we share the rent. It is networking. Only me would never have been able to buy one house in the first place. The man who owns facebook was not the owner of the initial idea, neither was he the one with the funds.

Please let us not use media like nairaland to kill good ideas or businesses. It really hurts.

common, we are sick and tired of all these fraudulent unrealistic networking business, whereby few people will smile and larger percentage of people will cry.
If you want to assist Nigerian youth with dynamic proven ideas, OK. If not, NO way!!
My dear, network marketing is different from networking. What we are trying to do is the latter. I refer you to my initial post:
allanohize:
The purpose is to facilitate networking amongst middle net worth individuals, to share opportunities and to facilitate further learning. Three big projects will be unveiled which members would be part of from conception to finish. Here you will learn how to create businesses, increase their values and sell them while retaining some ownership of the business.

Science/TechnologyRe: Meet Nigerian 28-year-old ‘rocket Inventor’ by allanohize(m): 10:20pm On Mar 24, 2011
Why do we have people who do nothing but specialise in making negative comments on nairaland? The boy may not have invented it, but it is not the product we should be looking at, instead we should be looking at the spirit behind his work. Practice, they say, makes perfect. As an engineer myself, I know what it takes to get a project to work in the first place. With his knowledge, he can delve into other things more complex and gradually start doing great things.

Remember that Nigerians have been importing matches, toothpick and all what not. If your junior brother comes up to start producing safety matches will you say he is reinventing the wheel? Of course he is not, but at least he will save us importation costs and the embarrassment that at our age as a country and with all our wealth we are still a consumer nation.

A good military rocket costs about $20,000 for each one, if the boy can produce something similar and equally effective for a fraction of that cost, won't it be a job well done?

Some years ago, another guy in Kano built an helicopter and tested it publicly in a field. The helicopter hopped up to 5 metres height and came back down several times while covering a distance of about 120m in the process. A sensible country would take this boy and his likes into a lab where they will try so many models to get it right. And get good pay for it too. But in the case of the Kano boy, police soon came to arrest him that he was building it for armed robbers! He was detained and tortured for almost a week.

A 21 year old indian designed a prototype of a low-cost effective car model and presented it publicly. The Indian government quickly grabbed the boy and bought the copyright from him for millions. That same year, India rolled out these new cars which only cost about N300,000 for a new one ($2000).

All over the world young guys are making waves turning old ideas to new products and re-inventing ageing concepts, finding new ways to get things working better and they all started like this. Owners of microsoft, facebook, skype and even our own nairaland are examples.

Na wah for all these negative minded people o! angry
BusinessWith N20k One Can Start A Good Business. by allanohize(op): 11:01am On Mar 21, 2011
Good businesses, great prospects, more money!

Where does it all end?

Tiger21 group is launching in Nigeria at a small scale. Well known in America to be the richest group of investors, they share dreams and ideas, pool up funds to secure the best deals together, and they keep sucking more wealth from the society into their accounts.

Anyone interested in being part of us should contact me by email.

Tiger21 Nigeria is exclusively for those who can demonstrate (and are willing to demonstrate) that they have at least N20k to invest jointly.

The purpose is to facilitate networking amongst middle net worth individuals, to share opportunities and to facilitate further learning. Three big projects will be unveiled which members would be part of from conception to finish. Here you will learn how to create businesses, increase their values and sell them while retaining some ownership of the business.

For now, Tiger21 Nigeria membership is restricted to 20 people only. Membership fee is zero! But you must be ready to invest N20k. (Meaning, you may opt out at any stage without losing your funds).

If you aren't there yet (i.e. don't have N20k to show) but are trying, good luck on your journey. Please come back when you are there. Networking is a great place to start, so given that you are reading this, you are heading in the right direction.

T21N is a private club. Membership is vetted. No posts within the club can be seen outside the club. The membership list will remain private and vigorously guarded.

You will learn to connect to the right people, both home and abroad, and to grow your revenue easily!

PoliticsRe: Nothing Is Wrong With The Nigerian Education System - Buhari by allanohize(m): 2:05pm On Mar 20, 2011
I believe our educational system is one of the best in the world. Sadly, the effectiveness and quality of this system has not been properly guarded. This system was in place when Nigerians were winning global laurels from home. Lots of foreigners used to visit and study in our schools in thousands, ask those in ABU, UNIBADAN and UNILAG in the late 80s.

Any graduate from Nigeria at that time could easily defend his degree and hold his own anywhere in the world! The so called brain drain was as a result of the quality of education that we had. The system of education was perfect then, and nothing has changed!

The problem with our educational system is not the system but implementation.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo's Testimony Of Buhari. by allanohize(m): 1:47pm On Mar 20, 2011
Anyone who says Buhari didn't do anything in his first tenure is either insane or blind. I presume most people posting here and making senseless comments were kids during Buhari's tenure in 1984. Someone even said the only thing he did was flog people on the street!

Check our economic indices during that period! Check the strength of our currency then! Check the reforms and the orderliness things were done in! Check the quality of educational system at that time!

Ever since he left all these have continued on a downward slide!

I will vote BB! Certainly!

I cannot decide who you should vote for, but please don't vote PDP! Please don't vote a corrupt government in again!

CrimeRe: Nigerian Mother Jailed In The Uk For Sending Son To Nigeria. by allanohize(m): 4:40am On Feb 21, 2011
My dear people,

How many Nigerian boys of 17years, south of the Niger, have been forced to marry in the last 200 years? NONE!
This is just a story cooked up to give this case a bite, and to punish the mother of the boy.
The boy is gay, his mother is awed, she wants to send him back home to be disciplined and straightened up. boy doesnt know what to do, he contacts gay friends, they advise him, the advice didnt work; so he lies that he is about to be forced into marriage. mother is jailed for sending him home and not letting him come back.

Please whoever is holding this boy, give him 100 strokes of bulala (sharia style) every day his mother remains incarcerated. And when you are done, please design some tribal marks on his face (ogbomosho style) let him know that he is a true Nigerian! Nonesense!

Please we need pictures of the boy. Let us spit on him, piss on him anywhere we see him! By jailing the mother, the UK has shown us how protective and "tolerant" of silly practices they can be. We, as Nigerians, should also show the world how resilient we are in pursuing good home training and better future for our children.

If the UK makes an example of the woman, let Nigerians make an example of the boy too! After all he is still bearing Urhobo name and not Jack John Stone or some other funny English names.
