Beeron: Nigeria is weird place to invest.
The citizens like to invest in Dollar mutual funds to hedge against the Naira devaluation essentially betting again their own currency.
Meanwhile foreign investors brings in Dollar, converts their dollars to Naira to invest in Naira mutual funds.
Weird Anyone still converting naira to dollar to invest because of devaluation doesn't know anything about investment and they are losing a lot of money. Since the emergence of our president, all naira investments have been doing so well and great. |

The DLM fixed income fund does not bring red like CardinalStone; make sure you are fully in. I've been weighing both fixed income funds for a week now; DLM still beats Cardinal. However, the dividend payout will say it all. Since DLM fixed income doesn't bring red like CS Alpha, which one adds more gain between the two when it is green? |

EquityM: They are doing well for now; I compared their NAV to DLM, and DLM only edged by tiny points like 0.19. You will be getting a huge dividend in July; you can either reinvest it or spend it. It does not affect your capital. Beautiful!!! |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 12:00pm On Feb 03 |
EquityM: Hmmm. I see why bonds are making tremendous gains. But other asset management would have invested as well. Then why is theirs low. |

EquityM: Zrosk will send your portfolio and monthly performance at the end of the month. Did you sign up already? 30k plus as a gain or the money in your account? So you have to wait till month end to see their performance. They really need to work on their website. Yes 30k plus as gain. I'm even tempted to drop Zrosk and add massively to CS Alpha I sent my documents to them yesterday and they confirmed it. They said they'd get back to me on the account to fund. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 11:44am On Feb 03 |
EquityM: The fixed income is a badass for now; I will fund it aggressively. and compare it with the equity. Thanks for testing all these platforms and giving us the best. Got 30k plus on CS Alpha fixed income yesterday and I started yesterday. I'm adding more funds. How do you check daily performance and added interest with Zrosk? |

EquityM: They respond to me; however, Zrosk is cool. I have their WhatsApp. The current YTD of Zrosk is 10.11. Since morning, Zrosk has not replied my message to them on WhatsApp |

EquityM: Yes, they did around 22% last year; if the election is not chaotic, it might reach that. I am also watching some investment series on YouTube; some white folks do 60%-40% diversification. 60 to ETF and equity, 40 to bonds. Impressive!!! For fast growth, that formula is very okay. Although it still depends on one's risk appetite. My February plan is 40% (two managers for Equity), 10% (one fixed-income that is nav-based), 20% (one mmf with competitive interest rate) |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 12:26pm On Jan 31 |
EquityM: Open CardinalStone fixed income as well; there is a peak period whereby the interest goes crazy on that day. DLM also has it, but I can easily track that period on CardinalStone. You can withdraw that interest on that day; I will inform you when that time is near. With the way cardinal stone alpha fixed income is going, they can easily clock 25 - 30% annually I think. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 9:21am On Jan 31 |
EquityM: It's beneficial to conduct extensive research, especially on equity. One thing that Zrosk has that Cardinal does not is that they select stocks with a potential for growth, while CD relies on stocks that pay dividends. Does that mean we'll get extra money added to our investment with CS when those stocks pay dividends? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 9:03am On Jan 31 |
EquityM: End of the week update. Fixed income was bullish throughout the week.
Zrosk equity fund: Strongly bullish; will update the YTD on Monday.
Afrinvest and CardinalStone equity: Tiny green.
Fixed income screenshot attached below; if I decide to cash out, those greens will be going with me, as the NAV is high this week. You too much One really needs to shop around before deciding on who to stay with. It's not about big names; it's about the results. I still wonder why the ones performing don't get the popularity they deserve. No advertisement at all! |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 1:55pm On Jan 30 |
EquityM: They also pay dividends in January and July; I will try and top up aggressively before July, 9.5M dey Zrosk, may God help my soul. Amen We shall make meaningful gains this year 🙏 |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 12:42pm On Jan 30 |
EquityM: Check this out. Had I known, I wouldn't have withdrawn the 400k I had last week to my equity fund. Dumb me. This is impressive One will smile with big money in it My fund in stanbic enhanced fixed income is fixed and even a bit smaller than mmf. I think it'd be better to move to cardinal stone fixed income. |

akinsanya005: Good day All,
Please any other close substitue for MOBIL 2000 5w 30 as it's alomost 3 weeks now looking for the oil as all the Mobil filling stations are out of stock and dont even know when it will be restocked. As I'm being scared of buying it outside in order not to buy the fake one. They're saying it's still in production I'd suggest you use something close (Mobil 3000 5w 40) for the meantime. I did this and my engine is even running more cool. |

EquityM: Chat with them on WhatsApp. Between, they are still building their new website, so you only get the statement of valuation and the performance of all the stocks via email. You too much... Thanks |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 2:35pm On Jan 28 |
EquityM: Yes, they do. I know all the stocks they invest in, and they only invest in Seplat, as oil and gas is known for high volatility. That is why if Aradel or Presco goes down in CardinalStone, we usually lose tons of money. Porting is 5M as minimum. Opening an account straight up |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 2:28pm On Jan 28 |
EquityM: Yes, MTN is doing some weird stuff. We might see red today in CardinalStone. But Zrosk does not rely heavily on MTN. Nacho, Zenith, Wema, GTCO, and UBA are up. Does that mean Zrosk lists the stocks they invest on just like cardinal stone? Time to port |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 12:30pm On Jan 28 |

Smattrader: No. Ok, I just noticed just now that all my account/investment info on the app has disappeared o guess this is an error from their end although initially, I must confess that it was there with zero green.
I was referring to Equity by the way. Check it again. It happened here as well before it became normal |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 9:14pm On Jan 23 |
EquityM: They are already performing well than CD at the moment. I can only accomplish my target if I am in the equity premium of Cardinal. I understand but moving money here and there (equity fund) in a short period is not advisable except you'd be staying with the new asset manager for a while no matter their result. Also, I wonder why Cardinal can't invest our money using the premium strategy since the two are still invested in stocks. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 8:42pm On Jan 23 |
EquityM: Green day today. I'll be moving my funds to Halo next week. Are they in anyway better than CardinalStone? And if they are, you can only know that by compare their performance after a quarter. |

Gratefulme: Since they are sleeping, would it be wise to buy them now. Interested in investing in those 3. You can surely get them if your goal is long term (1year and above). Once you buy, don't go and withdraw if you see small reduction in the value o Just leave it there and watch it for at least three months to see and understand the working of equity. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Allboiz: 8:02pm On Jan 20 |
EquityM: The rate is bearish today, as I only made 300+. The government just auctioned TB, thus making the rate lower today. Tomorrow might be better. Equity is starting to get on track; we will need to be patient as this market is tricky. Oh I see I'll observe the return I get from stanbic tomorrow and let you know |
