It been like that for like 3 to 4 years now. The only money you can transfer from your dorm account is the one transferred to you. Cash deposit for transfer is not acceptable.

Even the one transferred to you; fcmb has stopped transfers from fcmb dom to fcmb dom accounts. I use Access now to transfer to UC fcmb eurobond account but there are charges.

You can use access, stanbic, FBN, and then transfer to united capital fcmb domiciliary account. Be aware there will be charges since it's not within the same bank.

I have not withdrawn from it before so I can't say exactly but as it is with banks and investment houses, charges where available are most times borne by customers.

Very bad. They should have sent a notification message to all customers.

That's why you have to be strategic about it, by choosing the fund with the custodian bank that you can easily open a dorm account with for easy transfer of your funds. I will like to open the Vantage dollar fund but their custodian bank Citibank do not want to open a dorm account for me.

Same here. Stanbic uses Standard chartered, but there shakara is too much.

I then open united capital. They use fcmb, i opened fcmb and did it for a while, i.e, fcmb to fcmb transfer. Now, fcmb has stopped transfer from fcmb dom to fcmb dom. Very funny to me.

Withdraw your funds and source your dollar from BDC at #585. Then open a dorm account, pay the dollar into the dorm account. From the dorm account you can transfer to ur Stanbic dollar fund account.

The dollar transfer charges will spoil what he will get at the end of the day. There might even be loss sef.

Nah. It was an inflow

They don't allow people to transfer deposited cash anymore.

It seems transfer from one domiciliary account to another within in Nigeria is free. I did from Access to fcmb and no charge was removed.

It will always be there on the dashboard. However, it is only given to you or reinvested once in a year(early July). Also with United Capital what you will see is just change in the amount you invested as the unit price of the fund increases. Depending on how much you subscribed, if the amount is already showing on your dashboard. Start checking from Monday you will see addition of some cents or dollar depending on the amount you invested.

The increase is daily on weekdays except for public Holiday.

I went to another fcmb branch. It seems the staff in the former branch don't treat such transaction. So, they don't know how to process it; thus, suggesting the withdraw and deposit method.

I was even in one of their branches and they said they don't do transfer. They said I have to only withdraw and deposit the dollar but unitedcapital does not accept cash deposit
