Yes I'm familiar with the brand,
It's not too bad, if you're working within that price range i would recommend Power centre or ABt

Have you ever heard about "SMART DB" in the market before? If so, how good are they?

Thanks.

The Vivace Range
Probably the most popular in Nigeria because of its lower price point , this is the budget offering from Schnedier

PropertiesGenuine Schneider /ABB /Legrand /INDOASIAN/ Havells for your projects by allCopacetic(op):
Schneider Electric is "the" global specialist in energy management and automation.
A French multinational corporation that specializes in electricity distribution, automation management and produces installation components for energy management and the parent company of Square D, Pelco, APC, Clipsal, Luminous (inverters), Merlin gerin and many other pace-setting giants (Schneider electric has acquired over 40 companies from inception till date).

Schneider Electric develops technologies and solutions to make energy safe, reliable, efficient, productive and green. The Group invests heavily in R & D to sustain innovation and differentiation, with a strong commitment to sustainable development.

My greatest attraction to this brand is its constant innovation, pioneering and forward thinking designs. Schneider has pioneered more innovation than any other electrical giant I know of particularly in low voltage electricity distribution: from the patented “ondicator” and “impress” mechanism (found in the Zencelo) to the C-bus automation system created by Clipsal, across to the Neo range sporting the first mechanical switches with blue and white LED indicators. Schneider continues to outdo itself.
From distribution boards to Switches and sockets; this would probably be my first pick in the top tier.

Their popular range of switches and sockets include: Vivace, Neo and Zencelo .
Their distribution boards come equipped with their new Acti 9 range of MCBs, sensitive, efficient, safe, a 125A isolator.
Enjoy pictures below.

Exactly,
I mean why would I buy a home from a developer whose building just collapsed. that's a PR Nightmare
It'll take more than a PR Miracle to restore LG's reputation. Navigating the litigation and culpability storm will be an easier challenge given the system we're in
Beulah09:
If you know how the business work, Lekki Gardens will have to die and resurrect as another company!

Firstly, the loss from the collapse building is enough to KILL the company!

Then I expect the government to go after them on their other projects/buildings. Additionally, no one will pay for their other buildings so you can imagine the effect on cashflow. In other climes, they will file for bankruptcy.

For the contractors/Engineers, the professional bodies will likely blacklist or withdraw their licenses.

I just hope builders here are learning!

cheesy cheesy Very typical,
that establishment is a hot mess waiting to hit the proverbial fan.
wise of you to haul a$$ when you did, not just for professional reasons but for your own safety, somebody's negligence could stir up a $hit storm that could swallow you too
adanny01:
Same experience i had in Abj.

I worked for 2 months and resigned before my third payday.

1st Me and another engr were employed same day but i had far more experience. They made him my chief engineer just because the developer and he were from same state in the south south.

2ndly, My chief could not do anything without my opinion and sends me to challenging sites while he takes sites that only require brick laying. Most times he invites me to his site only to ask about his site's challenge.

3rdly and the last straw was when a third engr was later brought in to head the engineering team. As amusing as it was, he was a chemical engineer heading the engineering team of a real estate developing coy. We had 2 shouting matches in front of labourers and in a meeting. I had played him into accepting a responsibility that took away alot of mine and others and slowing work. That was the responsibility to hire, negotiate and pay workers. Once he took that upon himself, i became a consultant. Once he hired for a day, i go to site and give the scope of work, if its done or not, its not my business since workers report to him. Hell broke lose when he couldnt force me control the workers he hired and they became lazy as the person paying them isnt there to appreciate them. Labourers ended up doing one days work in 2 days and him paying twice as much for labour.

This coy's management were entirely family and none is a professional of any of the real estate development discipline. The director of projects, a brother to the MD/CEO read geography. The rest are either accountants (MD's wife and director of finance/admin) or lawyers (MD's wife's brother Director legal). Worst is that the beautiful female staff have been fvcked in turns while the circle of brothers and inlaws prey on all usually beautiful female supply marketers.
