For the past 3 days, I have been trying to make online Visa application & appointment via www.ukvisas.gov.uk bt d server hs nt been friendly.

Pls let me know how to go about this since I can't appear at the VAC without booking here first

thx about this. Pls what type of handset do u use? I use nokia 3500c but with this Opera 2.06, it chops my credit. If there's no credit, it shows error conneting, .

But i do browse FREE using d in-built native browser of d phone. I want to know if this FREE BROWSING WITH OPERA is a function of phone.

Pls enlighten me & let me know what handset u use.

Pls I want to know what other thing(s) or configuration I need to do to browse on my desktop using my phone (nokia 3500c) as a modem.

I browse freely on my phone both using d phone’s native browser and other web browsers, but when I try to hook it up to my desktop via bluetooth (or USB cable), d PC Suite recognizes d connectivity & then internet ready BUT as I attempt to open any website using d native Internet Explorer browser, d screen displays “cannot found server’’ & ‘the page cannot be displayed’’ EVEN while browsing continues on my phone.

I think d technology behind Bluetooth/IR/USB connectivity is to automatically make communication btw devices, esp using ware like PC Suite? Do I need any other configuration to make d desktop browse internet using d phone?

My guy, I've once been a victim of this with US embassy. Pls write ur name EXACTLY how it appears on ur WAEC cert: no abbreviation. If u eventually win, they'll fwd a package 2 writing ur name d same way u sent it 2 them initially. It wil now be left to u 2 prove u r d bearer of d name using all docs that has EXACT names. US does not take affidavit when it comes 2 names nor any recent doc u may present to prove an incorrect name,

Don't hesitate to do more postings if u need clarification. This HOUSE has pple that have knowledge in most issues of life.

With this new development of most banks financing study/schooling abroad, does it guarantee study visa if all other docs are intact? Since issue with sponsorship has always be the hitch/clause: insufficient balance, no true relationship to d Sponsor, sudden bulk deposits in d a/c in d last few months, etc. does bank bail prospective students out of this?

I quickly need 2 attend a trade conference in UK and while trying to book appointment online,

1. I stumbled into one of instructions on d page " , It’s mandatory to mention at least one of your contact numbers: either landline number (with STD code) or mobile number, I beg, what is STD code about?

2. Where is or how do I locate UK Visa Centre in Ikeja (if I'm coming from Anthony, Lagos?

3. How many photocopies of my documents am I expexted to bring along?

4. Which bank do I pay in d visa fee?

Pls just bear with me. I need to learn.

In my opinion,

1. I see a nagging act, on one hand, as an attribute of a perfectionist. A perfectionist does not see any other person doing things well/right except himself. Then, one must really learn how to live with such pple. It could also be in his nature: we all have different nature & dispositions.

2. Has d couple got any kid(s) since they married? If not, then it could an expression of internal agression/conflict a man can show. When it comes to this sensitive aspect of marriage, while most women looks unusually reserved or pitiful among other women altogether, men rather resolve to nagging in order to cover up.

3. Another thing is, is d wife presentable, esp when it comes to public fxns or outing? If d man has been correcting d wife to dress up (be good looking) repeatedly and d wife has not been cooperating, d man can always compare his wife to another woman outside (whom he knows he cannot get married to becos he cannot divorce: but he loves) and as a result go nagging.

From whichever angle one is looking at it, it's really a terrible thing but with prayers d wife can get over this. BUT d bottom line is, there's something underneath that act, just like pple have spoken b4 me. Let d wife find out & try to really play along in that line. THEY WILL GET OVER IT.

Hi guys, pls I want u to help me out on dis info.

A friend who’s now an Immigration officer is using his influence & connection to introduce me to car dealing business. I’m not too good at car species or models. But for example, he claims he can deliver a clean Toyota RAV 4 2004 model (fuel/manual, etc) to Lagos @ N800k. He’s bringing it from Cotonou.

Pls, get dis clear. It’s not dat he’s buying it for me o, but he’s bringing it at his own cost so dat we can start getting market for it, if acceptable by me. I think all he wants is partnership.

Pls, is dis cost/price feasible, for RAV4 2004 model?
