Nnamdipapa:Lol, E be like say na only u no understand wetin dey sup. The lady celebrating her birthday invested considerable effort and money to enhance her appearance, including applying heavy makeup to achieve the desired look. Then, a cruel person attempted to humiliate her by finding a picture of her without heavy makeup, zooming in on her face to reveal her pimples. This could indeed be considered face-shaming. ![]() Observe the last picture—the original, unedited image featuring her and a guy—and compare it to the second and third pictures, in which the spiteful individual has zoomed in on her face to expose her natural complexion. Do you understand the situation more clearly now? Peace! |
RichIgboBoy:Based on my understanding, had Obi won the last election, no significant change would have occurred. In that scenario, those of us who opposed him would be the ones expressing dissatisfaction, only to be met with your rebuttals defending his superiority over Tinubu. It is important to recognize that any politician promising to transform Nigeria within a single four-year term is being "disingenuous". The challenges Nigeria faces today are the result of long-standing issues that have accumulated over time, necessitating a sustained effort to resolve them.Even if Tinubu is unable to provide a comprehensive solution during his tenure, he has established a solid foundation upon which future administrations can build and continue the process of addressing the nation's problems. Ultimately, the complex issues plaguing Nigeria require a multi-faceted and long-term approach that transcends any single political figure or election cycle. Peace! |
OBAJESU:Your criticism of the mother is unwarranted and reveals a lack of empathy and understanding. Such an attitude would make you an unsupportive and ineffective parent to your children. You are unaware of the potential sacrifices the teenager might have faced to attain her current lifestyle, which includes her apartment, cars, and other luxuries. Her mother, being closer to her, may possess a deeper understanding of the situation and is likely attempting to caution her daughter about the possible negative consequences of her current path. Teenagers often make impulsive decisions for immediate gratification, failing to consider the long-term implications of their actions. This sense of temporary success can lead to a false belief that they have "made it" when, in reality, their choices may result in severe, lasting effects. The realization of these mistakes might come too late, as they could face depression, drug abuse, or even risk their lives while pursuing their questionable careers. It is essential to approach such situations with compassion and understanding, offering guidance and support rather than passing judgment on the mother, who is trying to protect her daughter's well-being. Peace! |

Righteousness2:In your arguments, there is a noticeable element of hypocrisy, which contradicts your self-image as a devoted Christian. It is not disputed that Jewish individuals have resided in these areas; however, you advocate for the narrative that only European settlers can claim Jewish lineage. Contrary to this assertion, majority of Palestinians share ancestral ties with the Jewish community as research has shown, a fact that is often overlooked. When claiming the land of Israel, there is a tendency to exclusively highlight European settlers while disregarding the rights of Palestinians who share the same ancestral connection to this land. Could this be due to the predominantly Muslim faith of the Palestinians, leading to the denial of their Jewish identity? It is essential to remember that some individuals of Jewish ethnicity have embraced other religions, such as Islam and Christianity. A substantial number of Muslim Jews reside in Israel (and Palestine), outnumbering their Christian counterparts. Notably, Jewish communities have long been established in the Palestine, well before the arrival of European settlers in the 1940s. Today, the term "Jewish" often evokes images of land-grabbing settlers, overshadowing the indigenous Jewish population whose ancestors were born and raised in the Middle East and have never set foot in Europe. To truly embody the values of Christianity, it is crucial to recognize and address this inherent hypocrisy in your reasoning. Shalom! |

Mynd44:Why she left him, psychologically speaking: Abraham Maslow’s theory explains this. The theory states that humans are motivated by five needs—physiological needs, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. She married him hoping to fulfill all these needs, from the most basic to the highest self-actualization needs. She stayed with him while struggling to meet her lower needs, such as physiological needs (food, shelter, etc.). However, once she no longer needed him to satisfy those basic needs, she divorced him because she found a place where her safety, love, and belonging needs could also be met. It is important to marry partners who are at the same stage of need fulfillment. If you are struggling with basic, lower-level needs, marry someone at that level. If you have progressed to higher levels—such as financial stability and safety—marry someone who shares those conditions and seeks love and belonging. Only women truly benefit from marrying “up.” If you are financially successful and you marry “down,” some women may see you as their source of food, shelter, safety, love, esteem, and self-actualization. Once you help fulfill their first two needs (physiological and safety), they may leave you to find “love and belonging” elsewhere. I am not saying we shouldn’t help our spouses grow, but it’s important to recognize the difference between a supportive partner and a leeching gold digger. Marry a partner, not a leech. Peace! |
oluwaseunamos33:I had assumed I was alone in believing that Nigerian politicians are responsible for the ongoing violence in the country. They employed a similar tactic to remove Jonathan from power and are now seemingly using it against Tinubu. As long as Nigerians continue to vote out incumbent governments due to insurgencies and replace them with new politicians, the politically motivated killings will persist. If, however, the electorate refuses to allow insurgencies to sway their voting decisions, politicians will eventually tire of sponsoring these acts of violence, as their strategies will no longer yield the desired results. Presently, Nigerian politicians exploit the lives of their citizens as pawns in their political games, while the masses fall prey to their manipulative tactics. Peace! |
LagosOrigin:Engaging in a discussion with WizardOfNG may be futile, as Christianity has seemingly transformed into a faith based on personal opinions rather than scriptural teachings. Adhering to biblical principles would mean dressing modestly, and even wearing a black dress that reveals a woman's figure is considered immodest. Furthermore, if Christianity were based on scriptural guidance, women would not serve as pastors, as it is explicitly stated in the New Testament that women should remain silent in church and refrain from speaking. This is supported by 1 Corinthians 14:34, which emphasizes that women should not speak in church but rather ask their husbands for guidance at home. In light of these scriptural references, the concept of women serving as pastors seems contradictory to the teachings of the Bible. As a result of this discrepancy between biblical teachings and the practices of modern Christianity, I would prefer to follow a traditional religion or any other religion rather than adhere to Christianity. femi4:Lol, Davido na talk and do, and your job na to sing him praises abi? I believe just as Davido is your superior, you're also superior to others, but have you truly outperformed them in doing good deeds? It is more important to consider one's personal social impact and contributions to those less fortunate, rather than fixating on the perceived shortcomings of celebrities like Davido and WizKid. Instead of passing judgment, focus on the positive impact you can make within your own sphere of influence.Peace! |
femi4:Refrain from passing judgment, as those you consider inferior may surpass you in doing good deeds. WizKid could potentially have undisclosed charitable foundations that are not widely known, while you continue to extol those who perform good deeds for public recognition or admiration. In the eyes of God, a person who gives five Naira in secret holds greater value than one who publicly donates five billion Naira for show. Those who seek recognition from the masses desire rewards in the form of praise and admiration, as you have done for Davido. Meanwhile, others prioritize their own values, choosing to give as they see fit, regardless of the amount or public recognition. Peace! |

BeardedMeat:Despite your own tribe (Igbo) being the leading drug trafficking group in Africa, you persist in mocking other tribes for drug-related activities. Does this hypocrisy not bring you shame? |
BeardedMeat:I explicitly mentioned the "South East" region, yet your response was whether he's the governor, which is incorrect. During his term as governor, did Obi effectively address the heinous crimes in Anambra State? No, he did not; instead, he engaged in embezzlement and used the misappropriated funds to enrich himself and his family. |
