It’s present day you hear people turning women to baby factories. And desperate young women selling their eggs.
It just baffles me that someone will be employed with the job of sleeping with young ladies ensuring they get impregnated so as to sell off the babies born for a profit. And why should some ladies submit themselves to be exploited in such situation for money is still a mystery to me.

Teens need to be enlightened and educated the more on this dangers starting from secondary school. Not everything should just be on mathematics and English
During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to abducting their victims from different parts of the state for the purpose of running a baby factory.
NYSCRe: Minimum Wage Arrears Will Be Paid To Ex-Corps Members — NYSC DG by Almunjid: 5:33pm On Apr 06, 2025
It appears that the NYSC DG's delay in implementing the increased minimum wage for corps members, despite receiving funds from the federal government, may be due to a lack of transparency and accountability. The DG may have intended to share any remaining funds among NYSC officials if the government did not notice the discrepancy. However, the complaints from corps members have brought the issue to the federal government's attention, forcing the NYSC DG to pay the correct minimum wage to all current and former corps members who were previously shortchanged.

Lol. It seems you're a bit skeptical about my submission, I encourage you to conduct your research to confirm my assertion. If the Nigerian government were to follow a similar approach and remove four zeros from the Naira, it would lead to 1 Naira becoming equivalent to the current 10,000 Naira. However, this could potentially result in the Naira becoming more valuable than the US Dollar, which might not be a strategically advisable move.

Moreover, our Naira has not devalued to the extent that such a measure would be necessary. Imagine the impact of revaluing the Naira in such a drastic manner: N10,000 becoming 1 Naira, and N20,000 becoming 2 Naira etc. Purchasing sachet water (pure water) with 1 Naira (formerly worth N10,000) would demonstrate just how severe the devaluation has become!

Love800:
But Ghana currency is stable against dollar, abi?
In response to current economic reforms under President Tinubu, the federal government of Nigeria devalued the Naira. Despite this, the Naira still holds more value than the Ghanaian Cedi, as 1 Cedi equates to 10,000 units of the old Ghanaian currency. Currently, 1 Cedi is almost worthless in Ghana. In contrast, N100 Naira can buy two to three sachets of water, depending on the location in Nigeria.

Moreover, the Naira has begun to stabilise, maintaining an exchange rate between N1,500 and N1,700 to the US Dollar for several months now. However, the instability of the Cedi is less noticeable than the Naira due to its past revaluation. Last year, the Cedi fluctuated between 14 to 16 Cedis per dollar before reaching 15 Cedis per dollar this year. A 2 Cedi devaluation equals 20,000 of the old currency, which has a more significant impact on Ghanaians' purchasing power than the Naira's devaluation, which typically occurs in the hundreds rather than thousands of its original unit currency.

Hmmm

So 1 cedi na 100 naira.
Lol. No let dem deceive you Ooo. The Nigerian Naira holds more value than the Ghanaian Cedi. Ghana's government revalued their currency by converting 10,000 Cedis to 1 Ghana Cedi, a process that involved removing four zeros from the old currency.

If Nigerian government were to follow suit and remove four zeros from the Naira, it would lead to 1 Naira being equivalent to the current 10,000 Naira. However, this could potentially result in the Naira becoming more valuable than the US Dollar, which might not be a strategically advisable move. Such drastic revaluation measures are typically reserved for countries whose currencies have undergone significant devaluation over time, as was the case with Ghana's Cedi.

BusinessRe: Top 10 Strongest Currencies In Africa And World In 2024 by Almunjid:
Upon reevaluating the list of strongest currencies in Africa, the Ghanaian Cedi should be removed, as the Nigerian Naira holds a stronger value. Ghana's currency has undergone significant changes and devaluation since its introduction. By 2007, even the highest denomination, the 20,000 note, was worth only about 2 dollars.

In 2007, the Ghanaian government introduced a revaluation plan to address the devaluation of the then-existing "new Cedi." The result was the introduction of the "Ghana Cedi" as a replacement currency, with a conversion rate of 1 Ghana Cedi to 10,000 units of the former new Cedi. Essentially, the government only removed four zeros from the old currency, instead of 20,000 cedis it became 2 cedi. This process streamlined the currency system and made transactions more manageable by simplifying large numerical figures. Nevertheless, it has experienced a significant decline since then, losing over 90% of its initial value. Consequently, it is not accurate to list the Ghana Cedi among Africa's strongest currencies.

pedophile trying to justify their acts.dis the people that married teenagers and minors force themselves on the minors? Did they ? Na question I ask o
I'm not trying to justify pedophilia; rather, I'm expressing my discomfort with our double standards and hypocrisy on this critical issue. Nigeria is grappling with hypocrisy, as exemplified by a recent tragedy in Edo State, where an apprentice killed his oga over a 17-year-old girl. Despite widespread online condemnation of pedophilia, the reality in southern Nigeria presents a different picture. Even in the south where Northerners are frequently accused of pedophilia, finding teenage virgins remains difficult. This dichotomy raises the question: who is truly responsible for the loss of virginity among these minors? grin

It appears that some individuals engage in hypocritical behavior, publicly denouncing Islam and Prophet Muhammad for alleged associations with pedophilia, while secretly participating in similar acts themselves. This suggests that, at least for some, the act of marrying minors may be the only point of contention, as engaging in sexual activities with underage individuals seems to be more accepted in the south.

The prevalence of teenage prostitution in southern Nigeria is cause for alarm. If everyone online claims to condemn pedophilia, who then are the ones exploiting these young girls? It seems there's a troubling dissonance between public criticism and private actions when addressing this serious issue.

Your senators and fellow slaves in core North that love to marry under age girl are in a senseless societies right?

In western countries, PO will never be criminalized or prosecuted for his act because as at the year, the lady was 18yrs of age. This is not a case of Muhammad 55 and Aishat 6yrs of age!

Is it according to your ignorance Muhammad was an illiterate that was not well educated?

Quran 25:5 Pickthall
And they say: Fables of the men of old which he hath had written down so that they are dictated to him morn and evening.

Quran 25:5 Shakir
And they say: The stories of the ancients-- he has got them written-- so these are read out to him morning and evening.

With all these, was Muhammad an illiterate?

Which law gave Muhammad permission to married a child or 6yrs of age?

PO never did anything wrong like Muhammad at 55 that married a child of 6yrs of age. You should condemn Muhammad with your fellow slaves that love to go for underage girls!
I appreciate the time and effort you've put into writing your argument; however, it appears to be biased and inconsistent. Earlier, you mentioned that Peter Obi married his wife in March 1992, and she would turn 18 in September of the same year. Now you claim she was already 18 when they got married.

You also stated that Peter wouldn't be prosecuted in a Western country because his wife turned 18 within the same year. Even if a girl is just a month away from turning 18, she is still a minor, and engaging in any sexual activity with her could lead to prosecution in jurisdictions with robust child protection laws in Western countries.

Your bias prevents you from acknowledging the differences in societal norms between Muhammad's era and Peter Obi's. During Muhammad's time, there were no explicit prohibitions on practices like slavery and child marriage. If he had owned slaves, would you condemn him for partaking in an activity that was legal and common during his lifetime but has since become morally reprehensible? This wouldn't be a fair assessment.

Regarding Muhammad's literacy, it is historically established that he could neither read nor write. This is confirmed in Surah Al Alaq 96:1-5 of the Qur'an. The verse from Quran 25:5 that you cited to argue for his literacy is taken out of context. This passage conveys the assumptions of people around Prophet Muhammad about the source of his teachings. They assumed he had someone write down the stories of the ancients, which were then read to him. Even these speculations implicitly acknowledge his inability to write.

I've attempted to point out the errors, bias, and inconsistencies in your argument. The primary obstacle to productive dialogue is your unwillingness to engage in open-minded discourse. When met with constructive criticism, you resort to hurling insults. Our conversation has reached a stalemate, I will refrain from further participation in this unproductive discussion. Should you become more receptive to alternative perspectives, I would be open to revisiting our exchange. Please do not take offense if I do not reply to your next comment. Peter Obi married his wife in March 1992 and the lady would be 18 in September in the same 1992, is she is mature enough to get married unlike Aishat that married Muhammad when she was 6yrs of age while he was 55. Don't compare Peter Obi with your Muhammad in child's marriage

There is no slavery laws or constitution that says in 7th century, you can marry a preschooler like Aishat, so stop defending nonsense!
Lol, your response is quite funny and intriguing; when I proposed focusing our discussion on Peter Obi, you disappeared for a while, only to return with his marriage date, ready to fervently defend him. grin Although I respect your dedication to protecting the reputation of those dear to you, but I must express concern about the fact that you're overstepping boundaries in justifying their actions.

In saner climes, child marriage remains an unjustifiable act, regardless of the age disparity between the child bride and the groom or whether the minor is few months away from reaching the age of consent. If you believe Peter Obi's action was acceptable, consider what would happen if you attempted to marry a 17-year-old minor who would turn 18 this September in a Western country. Undoubtedly, you would face severe legal repercussions. This demonstrates that, in societies with a strong sense of justice, there is no distinction between different levels of wrongdoing.

I find it perplexing to witness your staunch criticism of Muhammad while simultaneously exonerating Peter Obi of his transgression. It is unfair to compare an "uneducated" man from the 7th century, when there were no explicit laws prohibiting slavery, child marriage, or the inheritance of one's mother as property, to an "educated" man from the 21st century, who should be held to modern standards. While we can understand Muhammad's adherence to the norms of his era, it is crucial to acknowledge that Peter Obi, as a learned individual, should be held accountable for failing to adhere to 21st-century laws.

Instead of persistently defending Peter Obi, it is essential to be objective and brave enough to condemn any wrongdoing on his part. After all, he's not infallible, is he? Defending your favorite or beloved politicians when they are in the wrong is not loyalty but blind allegiance.

How old was Muhammad when he married Aishat? Is muhammad age different from this man's age that killed a 17yr old girl?

You should now rewrite your super story above after answering these questions!
Child marriage is illegal, regardless of the age gap between the child bride and the groom. There is no excuse for marrying a minor in the 21st century. However, we can understand Muhammad's actions within the context of the 7th century, when practices such as slavery were considered acceptable. It is unfair to judge someone from the 7th century by 21st-century standards. Our focus should be on Peter Obi, who married a minor in the 21st century and failed to meet modern standards. He should be the subject of our discussion. What do you think? grin

It's surprising that you, being a woman, have this perspective. It's important to know that when a girl is below the age of consent, marrying her is illegal, her consent or approval doesn't matter. Moreover, engaging in sexual activities with her before or after marriage, regardless of whether she gives consent or not, is considered rape.

Islam again, must they emulate Muhammad
There seems to be a double standard when it comes to criticising Islam. When an Igbo or Yoruba Christian man marries a teenager, Christianity won't be criticised; however, when a Muslim does the same, Islam and Prophet Muhammad's influence are immediately blamed.

Peter Obi married a 17-year-old minor, yet neither he nor Christianity was criticised for it. Obidients are trying so hard to avoid the topic, but they are quick to condemn others. This highlights the inconsistent standards applied to different individuals based on their religious affiliations.

Numerous challenges arise in refugee camps, where many women face food shortages. In some cases, they're offered food in exchange for sexual favours. Those who refuse these advances are left to starve. In this instance, the predator took advantage of a vulnerable and starving girl. Her parents, hoping to reduce the burden of feeding more mouths and potentially provide her with a better life, married her off to the 55 years old man, unaware of his true nature.

Moreover, the custom of marrying teenagers has been present in various societies long before the advent of Islam and is deeply ingrained in many cultures worldwide. This practice extends beyond Arab societies and can even be found within your own tribe. It is crucial to emphasise that the forceful marriage and murder should be condemned, rather than the perpetuators' religion. Just as Igbos would rather have people denounce drug trafficking instead of unfairly judging their entire tribe, it is vital to address harmful actions without generalising or targeting an entire religion or ethnic group.

I know you are going to quote Bible, however hear this,
The wars of the Bible was Jews dragging for territories and not to force others to embrace their religion.

In addition, Christians follow Christ, who fought no one and killed no one and instructed us to follow peace with all men.

When He was arrested, one man tried to fight but He cautioned him.
He laid down His Life us. (Of course, the idea of Him laying down His life for us , will not make sense to you).
All the incidents I cited about Islam and Moslems are not once in a while cases: they are rampant and every day with us.

While you keep claiming that the people who engage in the violent form of Islam are few, yet they are enough to unleash terror in nations.

How do you differentiate between an Islamic terrorist from a normal one?
Violent Islam is a cancer eating Nigeria up., It has been with us for years.
It is increasing and never slowing down,

Can you stop it?
If you can, stop it now.
If you cannot, please just leave us alone.
We have had enough explanations.
We do not need them anymore.,
Lol, I know you would undoubtedly attempt to justify Jewish terrorism, claiming that the wars in the Bible were just about territory and not forcing others to embrace their religion. Similarly, the jihads of the so-called jihadists are also about expanding territories due to their greed for power and dominance. Funny enough, following their scripture, the Jews are still killing children (male and female) in this era in Gaza to grab more territories and the owners of the territories who are "struggling" to protect it from them are being tagged "terrorists" while you and many other Christians cheer them up as they commit genocide. The Muslims' "struggle" to protect their territories is "jihad and terrorism" while the Jews grabbing lands are doing the lord's work, I guess. What a double standard!

Regarding the Fulani, it seems difficult for you to separate their activities from their religion. Nigeria's reputation is being tarnished globally and internationally, with all three major ethnicities contributing to this. We constantly hear about Igbo international drug traffickers being arrested and prosecuted, leading to Nigerians being hated internationally for crimes that other Nigerians are not guilty of. This is similar to Fulani and Boko Haram terrorism being used to criticize and hate Islam and Muslims.

The number of people indirectly killed by Igbo individuals due to their "get rich quick" mentality is innumerable. Many have lost their lives by consuming fake drugs supplied by Igbo criminals in hospitals, and the Nigerian Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) recently destroyed 1 trillion naira worth of counterfeit drugs. Furthermore, many promising young Nigerian girls have had their lives ruined by the Igbo-run baby factory businesses, where women are kidnapped from different parts of the country, forced into prostitution, and made to bear children who are then sold without their consent. The crimes I've mentioned are not isolated incidents; they are rampant and occur daily in Nigeria. How can one distinguish between an Igbo criminal and a non-criminal Igbo? Criminal Igbo Christians are a cancer consuming Nigeria from within. This problem has persisted for years and continues to grow without any signs of slowing down. While some may argue that the number of Igbo people engaging in these crimes is small, it is still significant enough to wreak havoc and tarnish Nigeria's reputation on an international level.

What about the Yoruba? They are involved in skull mining and money rituals, killing and selling human body parts. Hausa people also contribute to terrorism through kidnappings and banditry, yet most Nigerians focus solely on the ethnicity and religion of Fulani criminals as if they are the only ones tarnishing our image. I despise hypocrisy.

I come from a minority tribe in the Middle Belt, and I am frustrated with the three major ethnicities and Christians for their roles in tarnishing our global reputation. My tribe is not involved in any local or international crimes, and you cannot imagine how terrible I feel about our international reputation being tarnished by the major tribes. We are stuck with "three problematic tribes" and a self-righteous religion (Christianity).

The harm that Christians, Yoruba and Igbo people inflict on this country daily goes beyond the herdsmen news we read about. Christians, Yoruba and Igbo people stay silent when news breaks about their criminal siblings, not wanting them to be seen as Christians, Yoruba or Igbo criminals, yet they are quick to associate other local criminals, like the Fulani, with their religion. What kind of hypocrisy is this?

Crimes committed by your fellow Christians and tribesmen are overlooked, while those of other religions and tribes are exaggerated. If you can stop the Igbo from tarnishing our international image daily with their drug trafficking crimes and the Yoruba from killing, mining skulls, and selling human parts daily, then I'll stop Fulani herdsmen from their attacks.

Regardless of what I write, you won't understand, your focus on the flaws of other ethnicities and religions is hindering productive dialogue. Our conversation has reached an impasse. Nonetheless, I appreciate the opportunity to exchange views with you. Going forward, I believe it would be more beneficial for you to engage in discussions with objectivity and open-mindedness. Let's respectfully agree to disagree and move on from this conversation. Thank you for your time, and I genuinely hope we can find common ground in the future.

Let me for the sake of argument agreed on your narrative that the Fulani committing this acts are not religious.

Also, did you say Mohammed did not wage wars to spread Islam?

Well, Usman Dan Fodii, ISIS, Boko Haram, ISWAP, the people who killed Deborah, the people who behaved Akaluka, because wla woman living in the same yard with him, used a torn piece of Koran to clean up her baby, , put his head on a spike and paraded it on the streets of Kano, the secondary school students who killed their teacher because she seized a copy of Koran one of them used to cheat in exam, all the violent violent Muslims all abide by the instructions of Mohammed.

Explain these verses

Qur'an 9:29 (Surah At-Tawbah)

Text: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture—[fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

Qur'an 9:5 (Surah At-Tawbah)
Text: "And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

:
As previously stated, the fact that these groups have managed to evade consequences, much like Boko Haram, indicates that those in power might be complicit in their crimes. Do I have a solution to proffer? Not a comprehensive one. However, if our leaders seem uninterested in addressing the issue owing to their selfish interests, we must collectively pressure them to clean up the mess they have created.

I want to reiterate that Prophet Muhammad never waged wars to spread Islam; historical accounts confirm this. All battles fought were in self-defense against the Idolaters who were attacking and killing Muslims.

The incidents you mentioned, such as the killing of Deborah and others, were crimes perpetrated by ignorant individuals who know nothing about Islam. These people are easily manipulated and misled. Similarly, such gullible and misguided individuals exist within Christianity as well. They are often put into a state of mental slavery by their pastors, who exploit them for personal gain, particularly through tithing.

Regarding the explanation of the last two verses, I explained the context earlier when I quoted Quran 2:190, where Allah says, "And fight in the way of Allah those who fight against you, but do not transgress." This verse, along with Quran 9:5 and Quran 9:29 you quoted, instructs Muslims to engage in self-defense against those who attack them while adhering to the limits of just warfare to avoid harming innocent people.

Moreover, the two verses you quoted are from Surat At-Tawbah, and they might be taken out of context if not considered alongside verse 36. In this verse, Allah specifies who should be fought against, stating, "...And fight the polytheists together as they fight together against you. And know that Allah is with those mindful of Him" (Qur'an 9:36). This verse also implies that only those who fight against us should be fought against. Therefore, there is no Islamic justification for the killings of innocent individuals like Deborah and others.

Those who wish to vilify Islam in the eyes of the world often quote verses about fighting and killing in jihad out of context. The Bible also contains hundreds of verses about killing innocent people, even more so than the Quran. Numbers 31:17-18 in the Bible states, "So kill all the boys and all the women who have had intercourse with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."

The above verse implies that only virgins are safe from death, and crusaders may kill all boys and women who have had intercourse with a man. Boko Haram had killed people and kidnapped young girls in the past (chibok girls); could they be following this Biblical verse? grin Should Christians use this verse to justify fighting and killing innocent Muslims and others while keeping their virgin girls for themselves? Anyone who misuses scripture in this way, whether from the Bible or the Quran, has misunderstood its teachings.

Many of the terrorism acts committed by the so-called Muslims today were learned from the Crusaders, who raided kingdoms and forcibly imposed Christianity. History has painted them as saints, overlooking their acts of terrorism while emphasizing Islamic terrorism as a recent phenomenon. If we continue to quote the Bible and Quran out of context to justify the evil perpetrated by some of their followers, we will never be able to effectively address the global issue of terrorism.

MAR2012:
There is a point you are missing on the need to disintegrate.
The Igbo man from Anambra can easily blend, mix up and live together with an Ibibio man from Akwaibom , without unproved violence.

However when it comes to the violent Fulani Jihadists, it is a different ball game all together.
If you say Boko Haram contradicts Islam, then Mohammed the founder of the religion also contradicts Islam. Usman Dan Fodio also contradicts Islam, For they set the pace for Boko Haram and ISIS.

Also, please explain to me why Nigerian Army will not act when these terrorists attack a community,
But when the people come out to protest, Nigerian Army will engage even to shoot live bullets.

Let me ask you, how do you change the mentality of a Jihadist?
How do you stop him from the hunger to spill the blood of "infidels'?

Give me practical solutions.
Lol, I now understand your anger towards Fulani people, but it's essential to recognise that the Fulani are divided into various subgroups. We have Fulani in Adamawa, Gombe, and Bauchi states who are peaceful. Just because a few nomadic Fulani have committed crimes, it doesn't mean we should condemn the entire Fulani tribe. Similarly, there are Igbo people in the South East, yet some Igbo individuals are criminals involved in drug trafficking, baby factories, and counterfeit drugs. Should we use this to judge the entire Igbo tribe as "criminals tribe"?

You mentioned Fulani jihadists, but most of the Fulani involved in killing people on their farmlands are not particularly religious. Many of them can't even read the Quran; stop attributing their crimes to the entire tribe and religion. Usman dan Fodio, Boko Haram, Al-Qaida, and ISIS are all similar in their extremism, and they are un-Islamic. However, only those who understand Islam can discern this.

In Islamic history, there's no record of Prophet Muhammad and his companions raiding a kingdom to establish Islam. Jihad, in its literal sense, means "struggle," similar to the meaning of the word "Aluta" in Portuguese. The so-called jihad you see today is a practice Muslims adopted from Roman and Christian crusaders, who used to raid towns, kingdoms, and spread Christianity by force. People seem to overlook the atrocities committed by crusaders while emphasizing those perpetrated by Muslims who adopted the same tactics.

After Prophet Muhammad's death, Islamic leadership fell into the hands of materialistic rulers who sought to expand their territory. When they heard that crusaders captured a city and imposed Christianity, they perceived it as injustice. Consequently, they gathered soldiers to fight and recapture the city or kingdom and impose Islam instead. Each side believed their religion was the best one to practice. This pattern led to the conquest of many kingdoms and countries like Egypt, which had once been Christian country. Usman dan Fodio was influenced by these practices; you can see how he installed his Fulani people as leaders in conquered territories to expand their power and dominance.

The true jihad was the battle between Muslims and the Meccan idolaters who persecuted Muslims for abandoning idol worship in favour of worshiping one God (Allah). When the persecution became unbearable, Muslims migrated from Mecca to Ethiopia and later to Medina. Even so, the idolaters pursued them to continue their oppression, leading to the justification of jihad as a struggle in the cause of Allah. The Qur'an verse, "And fight in the way of Allah those who fight against you, but do not transgress" (Qur'an 2:190). This verse instructs Muslims to fight only in self-defense against those who attack them and to adhere to the limits of just warfare.

Muslims selflessly fought in the cause of Allah until they achieved victory by conquering their enemies. Upon their return from the battle of Badr, Prophet Muhammad said to his companions, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to embark on the greater jihad." When asked what the greater jihad was, he replied, "The jihad of the heart, or the jihad against one's ego and passion (Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi). This implies that the jihad of fighting in self-defense is considered lesser when compared to the internal struggle against one's inclinations. How many of us have fought and won battles against temptation, sin, and addiction? These are the greatest forms of jihad.

The assumption that nomadic Fulani people are engaging in jihad is incorrect. They are unscrupulous individuals creating chaos in the land and should be held accountable for their actions. The fact that they have been able to evade consequences, much like Boko Haram, indicates that those in power may be complicit in their crimes. However, it is essential to recognize that these actions have nothing to do with Islam itself.

Upon examining the origins of many terror groups, it becomes evident that they often have Western backing and sponsorship. This includes organizations such as Al-Qaida, ISIS, and even Boko Haram. It is surprising that an educated person like you would believe that Fulani and Boko Haram are engaging in jihad and use that as a basis for claiming that we should not share a country with them. This notion is quite absurd.
