Anyway, why must they call every gun totting criminal 'militants'? Part of our problem in this country is the media and their wishy washy, half baked journalism.

Gone are the days of Baguado Kaltho who were refined, hardcore investigative journalists.
**** You believe that those clashing with farmers are Fulani herdsmen but don't believe that those wrecking havoc in Ogun state are Ijaw militants. What would people gain from lying about those causing them pain? Go out and there and teach us investigative journalism and stop yearning dust here when you don't have any proof.

Really...what of their OYEL..? What part of your mind does that go to? Guess what comes to people's mind when they think of your tribe...Ask google>>>>
****which oyel? The oyel they explored, appraised, and developed? What exactly did they contribute to drilling of oil and gas? How many ijaws can afford the drilling rig daily rate? How many of you can even afford to carry out exploration activities, shoot seismic? How many of you are perverse to the risks associated with drilling oil and gas when statistics shows that every 1 out of 10 ten wells drilled encounter oil? People have invested funds, resources into exploring for oil and gas. Many have gone into bankruptcy, many have massive debts to Service only for some lazy ogogoro drinkers to come and rant awa oyel. If you scream that again, I'll give you a dirty e-slap that will hard format your brain to it's default setting.

Show me any of your previous posts like this during Gej's tenure and I'll forever hold my peace. Hypocrite!

No, he's not for real. He is for fake. You that is for real, pray tell what you would do differently if you were to be a minister of Finance in a period of plummeted oil prices.

My friend keep quiet and shut DA FCK up. Stop looking for gibberish to make excuse for our cowardice. You and I know we're cowards. We cannot fight. It's not our fault; It's engrained in our DNA. OPC issued a 11 day ultimatum then went back into hiding. How many more of our kinsmen must be slaughtered before we swing into action. We can do nothing; we have done nothing other than shout "sophisticated". Sophistication my foot.

Make no mistake ..they are very pretty with this black skin that radiates and this wonderful shape that will make Nicki Minaj and Kim kardashian jealous but that's all. Very few of them have won beauty pageant of repute be it MBGN or Miss Nigeria ...maybe one or two.but they re pretty maybe not that smart because they said that for you to win those pageant you must have the two.Well , I am not a beauty pageant judge nor a retired model.i am just an observer of things around me

I keep asking why is it that most Yoruba men don't value their women. They always look down on their women just like the African American man looking down on their ladies to marry whites .

Well I see reasons with them, the Yoruba women are hardly wife material.they are obnoxious, will insult you at the slightest thing and marry them, you will suffer it financially and emotionally. Marrying a Yoruba woman is like a wrong investment and their men know that. They will buy asoebi every weekend, go to party every weekend and use the feeding money to buy jewries . They will then hand your kids plates to buy foods at one mama put. Then forget about fidelity , they will always cheat on you via brother mi ,uncke mi things.

Is it a mistake is to marry any of them . This will help me advise someone that is from Edo state that wants to marry one. I am not generalising but having stayed in Lagos for more than a decade I have come to realise that there women gave this aggressive and obnoxious mannerism. Though not all of them but majority of them . Having stayed in FESTAC, surulere, onipan, ikeja and iyana Ipaja now Lekki i have come to draw this conclusion. This isn't a tribal slur on the "sophisticated" ones but a humble observation

Why do Yoruba have this complex ?their men dont marry their women nor value them. When a Yoruba man manages to marry the Yoruba woman he will definitely have kids outside and their women will be prone to divorce.other tribes divorce also but Yoruba have a higher tendency to either divorce and have kids at home. A Yoruba friend from ekun Kabba axis told me that they encourage their you girls to have kid at home to show that they are fertile . I said no wonder we have a lot of kids born at home and parents dont frown

When a Yoruba woman divorces you, she will be highly welcomed back to their fathers house . She will have her room reserved and this isn't applicable in igbo land or some northern tribe.Do Yoruba encourage their women to be lousy? This is a question

Now even the ooni when he ascended the throne he went for another tribes woman and dumping their women. Yoruba men don't marry their women and I don't blame them . You can hardly see an Igbo man coming online to beg to marry a Yoruba woman

We are proud. I have this pretty Yoruba woman as a girlfriend and the first date .I asked her why didn't she make her nails ...she said that if she makes it her father won't like it because feaces and excreta will be hidden in the nails. I was nauseated.i kbeww she doesn't go to toilet with tissues. Well , That was the last time I saw her and I didn't bother going the second time .

The attitude and their drama too much. So I don't blame these Yoruba boys that came online to beg Igbo ladies. Their women don't even know how to cook. But we all know that Yoruba men are not the best of husband. Marrying them is tantamount to heartbreak ...their must be always the outside child and concubine

Yoruba r sometimes cool to be with, their women aesthetically created and nice but....
You've brought your madness from the politics section to the Romance and Family section. You woke up early in the morning to create a thread aimed at denigrating Yoruba women. You have no shame. Hard working guys are out there preparing for work while you sit your lazy ass down creating useless threads in the romance and family section.
Your type do not respect women folks either Yoruba or other tribes. Your ladies are only good for bleeping. We discard them when it's time to settle down. who wanna settle down with a yam legged, hairy chested, muscled face, flat heads Igbo lady?
PoliticsRe: See Aftermath Of Niger Delta Militants’ Attack In Lagos (photos) by Alokendra(m): 7:00am On Jul 27, 2016
This is our cowardice in Yoruba land is nauseating. We're the most vulnerable to any attack as we speak. Ijaw, Igbo and Hausa Bleep us from left to right while taking turns, oppress us and do all manner if unsavory things. All we have done is to fold our hands and continue to watch like nothing happened. Even our leaders do not care - both the APC and PDP leaders. What manner of leaders keep quiet while the survival of their people is being threatened by miscreants. All they care about is politics. mess all of us. Our cowardice is legendary. Let us continue to yearn sophisticated while being suyanised in our own lands. mtchheew

jayrager:
Hi Bro.. Well said!! Are you saying people shouldn't think of having a career in oil and gas anymore? How stable do you think the industry will be in another year?
Well, that would be my unbias advice. No gainsaying that the oil industry is cyclical in nature. A period of high oil prices is followed by a period of low oil prices, and the cycle continues like that. However, I don't see the oil price bouncing back because once there's a slight increase, the shale oil producers will get excited again and saturate the global economy with oil. The oversupply will cause the oil price to crash again then they run out of business. Once the oil price starts picking up due to undersupply or high demand, they come back. So, this period of oil bust is different from the several oil bust we've had.
Yes, I'll not advise anyone to consider a career in the oil and gas industry at the undergraduate level. it's okay at the masters level.
CareerRe: Staff Of Baker Hughes Protest In Port-Harcourt by Alokendra(m):
This is true. I heard it from a friend that works there. This is why I laugh at people who still want to join the O&G industry. Truth is - the good old days are gone for good. I don't envy myself too cos I joined late at a period when oil prices have plummeted for more than a 150%. The era of $100/bbl is gone for life. Call me a prophet of doom or a pessimist, I don't care. Pessimists like us exceed and climb faster up the corporate ladder, especially in the E&P industry because we plan with the worst case scenario. Staffs are being laid off. This is nothing personal; the E&P is a business and it must succeed. The industry is highly volatile. There's a period boom followed by a period of bust. If you cannot stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. These are difficult times for the oil industry.

Buhari remains the only man for now who can handle this country, other capable hands are yet to join politics in any format. And if any of this national parties failed to draw those other people who we could trust more than buhari into politics on or before 2019 election, then I'm afraid we Yorubas have no choice then to keep him till 2023.
The president popularity remains intact so far we don't have more credible candidate filing for the post.

A lot of dumb fools in this forum. How did Buhari cause the hardship? GEJ looted the treasury dry, and we're suffering ffrom the impact of low oil prices, and daft unintelligent wailers will rather blame their woes and failures on a government of slightly more a year old.

NO, I DO NOT REGRET CAMPAIGNING and VOTING for Buhari.

They will KILL everyone of these jokers and nothing will come from it. Crude oil is not ready made food. People invested BILLIONS and sweat (sometimes blood in form of industrial accidents) to produce the crude oil.
The crude oil is 2 km under the ground, pressed tight into rocks and sand. It comes out under very high pressures and it is hard, costly, dangerous to produce.

To think a few lazy layabouts with AK 47 controlled by drunken , dull looking politicians and ex presidents will successfully steal these resources from Nigeria, Shell, Chevron and AGIP and LIVE happily ever after is an interesting joke.

I especially want these guys to be made a serious example of so let them continue the eco terrorism. The world would not blame Buhari when he starts dishing out the pain and destruction and as we have warned many times . It lasts a long time.
Don't mind the lazy ogogoro drinkers. How many of them can even afford the daily drilling rig rate onshore talk more of offshore. Oil & Gas drilling is not ready made food; it's how much of a business man you are and how much resources and funds you're able to pull. More than 90% of the oil & gas coy have huge debt to service especially NOC. The IOC can always get financial support from their parent company, but NOC are not finding it easy. Check the financial result declared by the giant NOC and see the huge loss they recorded.

Lazy awa oyel chanters, you'll NOT get any already drilled wells. I support the government to give you as many OPL and OML as possible then you can develop yourself. Let's see how far you can go. Even before first oil, you'd have spent up to a $200 MM - for a small to average field.

You're always right while others are wrong. Your voting choice is the right one while others do not have the right to vote their choice candidate hypocrite. No matter the short comings of Buhari, I'd still take a worse Buhari than a clueless and corruption-ridden GEJ. Whether you like it or not, Yorubas have been fairly compensated. I don't care if you believe it or not. Their appointments do not matter to me as it do not affect the average Yoruba. Only Allah knows what really transpired between the woman and her assailants that day. She might be preaching inciteful messages that were too hard to bare. Even tho i condemn the action of the killers, by preaching around a mosque makes her actions daring. It's like an imam coming to preach in a church territory. I suggest the government ban street evangelism so cases like this can be averted in future. It is wrong to go around with megaphone and start preaching as early as 5am when people are resting. Those who blame Islam for her death are just displaying ignorance. We cannot use the action of few to judge the entire muslims. Islam remains a peaceful and tolerant religion. cool
Please, shut up. If you're Yoruba, then it's a shame to be associated with you. Idiot
