Maize seeds are the dried ones you get from shops/markets near you. Select the type you want and measure the quantity you desire.

Details of the land.
Location: Lukosi on papalanto road, link road between sango-abeokuta road and sagamu-Lagos-ibadan interchange.
Topography: Low land very close to stream with the capacity to sustain irrigation. Virgin land with trees.
Land marks: A small village near the site. Some farmland currently using irrigation are around the site.
Cost of lease: N5k/yr./acre.
Distance from bus stop: 12 mins ride on earth road up to the farm.

When are you planting?

100,000 plants of tomato or pepper on a section of this land may yield about N10m in april/may 2016 if work can start now.

We have just been assigned a new 100 acres virgin farm land at N5k/ year lease. There is a stream nearby and within the farm complex we are presently cultivating.
It is good to pay for 2yrs which is N10k/acre.
Location is 10 mins ride from Lukosi bus stop on papalanto road, ofada, ogun state.
Labour is available to clear the forest, plant, care and harvest for you.
The nearby stream can take care of your irrigation needs.

From my little knowledge abt agriculture & farming, I doubt if this water source can be sufficient to wet/irrigate a 20 acre farmland especially for water dependend vegetable farming.
This water source is a stream/brook that may dry up at the height of the dry season. What this land requires is a river not a stream/brook.

My pple, Pardon me if am wrong.

The stream has enough water to take our watering through the dry season. We are currently pumping from there. No issues.

Gradually we are heading there. Fruiting of this set is expected by end of january 2016.

Cucumber per bag has moved from N2k in november to N4k now. Expected to hit N6k in february 2016.

A bag of cucumber is now N4,500. Expected to hit N6,000 by end of january 2016.
