Additional 10 units of watermelon farm for allocation has been created with details on another trend.

Apart from the 20 units of pepper farm, additional space for watermelon has been created to accornmodate 10 more farmers interested in watermelon cultivation.
As usual crops would have germinated before allocation to farmers on a 4,000sqm land with a plant population of 2,500. Expected fruit maturity from allocation date is about 75 days.
Expected number of fruits is 2,000 of 3-4.5kg each with a value of N200-N300 each.
Confirmation of quantity of harvest and evacuation are to be done by the farm holder or the appointed representative.
All 10 watermelon units will be collectively insured against natural disaster/theft by a reputable insurance company.
Cost of each unit is N120k.
M. O. U will be signed by both parties and a farmer I. D. Card issued.

OUR TARGET:
1. To prepare a farmland of 4,000sqm.
2. Transplant 10,000 hot pepper plants (ata rodo). This makes a unit.
3. Grow and maintain them for best fruit production.
4. Generate a minimum of N50 from each plant between 3-6 months from harvest and sales.
5. We have provision for 20 units and only completed unit(s) will be allocated.
6. MOU to be signed and a farmer i.d. Card issued to all holder farmers.
7. A holder farmer can directly supervise, appoint a manager or we over see the farm.
8. Each farm unit will be insured and premium fully paid. A holder farmer will complete the form.

COST OF PRODUCTION & SALES:
1. PEPPER: N200k (10,000 plants)
2. WATERMELON: N150k (2,000 balls of 3-4.5kg)
3. GOLDENMELON: N150k (6,000 fruits).

A new farmland, 5 mins ride from Lukosi bus stop is under processing. It will accornmodate 20 holder farmers with 10,000 pepper plants transplanted before allocation.
Fruiting starts 4 weeks from transplant/allocation date.
There will be farm workers on site for routine tasks.

As a followup, a new farmland, 5 mins ride from Lukosi bus stop on papalanto road is under processing. This land will accornmodate 20 holder farmers of 10,000 pepper plants each.
A farmer is allocated an already prepared farm with 10,000 pepper plants transplanted from the nursery.
By this method, fruiting start 4 weeks from the allocation date.
There are permanent workers on site for various stages of work
