Yesterday evening, I was having a severe fever so I went to the pharmacy and urged the nurse to give me something effective, I didn't know that chloroquine was included which I'm terribly allergic to.

The fever is gone, but right now I think I could manage the fever rather than this terrible itching that has been disturbing my since today, I can't even sleep.

Please someone should recommend something effective for me

This happened during the phase 2 lockdown, I happened to roam the internet alot, one app will surely take me to another, say from Nairaland to Twitter and something will take me to Instagram and back to WhatsApp story.

Met this amazing babe in NY, I'm in Nigeria though. We talk and chat once a while mostly about ourselves and things we do. You know a time will come during a phone conversation when there is absolutely nothing else to say but you just wanna keep the call going pending when something pressing will come from any end.

My mistake was asking this question, "hey so what have you eaten today?" I wish I never asked. And then the question came "what's with Nigerian guys and this kinda question". I said to my self, guy!! you don fumble. But then there is always something to say.

Told her, my idea of asking is not because I wanna know if you're taking care of your self or something, afterall you're an adult, rather most times I always don't have any idea of what I'm gonna eat considering the lockdown, so may be what you've eaten might give me an inspiration towards what I'm gonna eat next.
To also think about it, some people forget to eat, citing an example from my place of work before the lockdown. It's takes someone asking me if I've eaten before I remember I haven't had anything to eat for that day.

... That question can really sound stupid at times.

The best is to go immediately you graduate. Reason been that, you would find it difficult when you get busy with work and family. If later in life in you need the certificate ( which is 80% sacrosanct) , you may regret why you didn't pay the price - Patience -

But you can go after years of graduation yes? And is there any possible risk in doing so?

I'd like to know if it's critical to go for your service immediately after graduation, or you get to decide when to apply for it.

We've been around all through the lockdown period, but yesterday we all left the house coming back to see it this way.

In short, while my family and I were away from home to our various places. Then some hours past midday my father called me sounding very asking about my location I told him I was not far from home, he asked me to rush back far immediately.

I frantically ran with the little strength I had upon reaching my house, I swiftly went in and rushed to my parent's bedroom door which was the first room by the left, it was ajar so I pushed it open, I couldn't believe my sight, every single thing in the room was thrown over and wrecked. My father's money, over five hundred thousand from the transaction he made last week was stolen, they made sure they left no stone unturned, every corner, bags, clothes, the bed, and wardrobe was thoroughly searched. His two phones, a small techno phone, and a pad was also stolen

I walked to the parlor all furious and pained as if that wasn't enough, our LED television wasn't anymore and looking above I noticed the broken ceiling from where they came in and exited through. And when I thought I've seen it all, my bag was emptied of my clothes, cream, and books, I could only see a pair of trousers and a shirt I left on the hanger. Some money I had for daily expenses was gone.

I stepped outside our gate and went around the fence, I could only see a pair of trousers, I checked the pockets and brought out a lighter and face mask.

This is the problem with Nigeria, just because something didn't work out well for you, you end up discouraging others. I hate to hear people say education is a waste of time. The story Mr A (Medicine and Surgery) will give to you after graduation would be different from Mr B(Linguistic) in respect to getting a well-paid job. Someone who studied civil engineer can be self-employed immediately after graduation while another with a petroleum engineering certificate will need to get a job probably in the oil and gas sector and we all know how difficult that is. It all boils down to what you have studied in school.

The aforementioned skills are mostly computer science related, so, I can aswell study computer science and learn those skills. Education shouldn't be ruled out, I suggest we should go to school to gain knowledge then apply what we have learnt in creating jobs for ourselves. Do you know why Indians are doing so well in engineering, medicine even with their high population; they have one of the best doctors in the US is because they take their studies so important especially the sciences, is the only way they can break out of poverty so an Indian told me and in the long run it is helping their economy.

Just do you and let others do what is best for them. My only advice is we should study a lucrative/professional course and we wouldn't need to start seeking employment afterr graduation.

I'll suggest you think well before you object. This present educational system does not guarantee you a bright future degree if you invest all you got and it and gain every possible degree you still won't make out something from it.

But, someone with a perfected skill that's in demand will never run out of money as far he/she is honest and delivers timely.

You mentioned that you can take up computer science in school and learn the skill iLegend mentioned, Oga nobody will waste such time. I'm currently studying computer science, no lecturer has ever taught us of any programming language, we attend tutorials for it.

I'm not trying to play down the importance of schooling, it's good and fundamental no doubt but we place it over education which is most significant to achieving success. Schooling runs on general knowledge, while education is more specialize knowledge, it gives you a place in the society as a problem solver which literally channels your client to you as far as you're honest and competent in carrying out your duties.
