Y did ur company not use Chopper from Airport to company base to avoid unfortunate circumstances on d way

BlueRayDick:

She must be wondering how u survived all of that and still managed to keep ur sanity to become what u are today.

In 2024 I was in PH, on the way from the airport we were in a convoy with one German and one American national who are expat consultants to our company. The coaster bus we were in was bulletproof o and we had one hilux full of armed soldiers as lead escort while another hilux filled with armed Mobile police officers was following closely behind us.

Despite the level of security, the moment our driver observed the bus was giving him funny signs and he parked, come and see the way those expats were jittery. Seems they've been told how kidnapping is rampant in Nigeria particularly in the Niger Delta. You could clearly see the horror on their face right from the moment the driver stopped to check the vehicle till we continued our journey. We the Nigerians in the bus were not even bothered because we know nobody is coming to face that much security detail in a gun duel but the white guys were not calm at all.

Some of those negative news always keep foreign nationals on their toes while in Nigeria.

That should be date to begin orientation and verification exercise... Classes should be in February... My school resumed orientation yesterday and I'm still waiting for visa with SLA that came last week

Hannahspeck:
I will be d one to get oo by his Grace my school is resuming on the 26th of January ooo

We are all here waiting for the first person na... I don't know anyone

Tribet:
Do you know anyone who has gotten?

That's d problem.... D tin is that some of Dem in sch now will default payment deadline for first tuition installment and will be sent packing,,some given visas may not travel some may not finish their program after gone far.... All these uncertainties makes Universities overshoot their admission numbers so that they don't lose at d end

Sakuzi:
If this is the issue then they should be giving universities quota of students to accept per academic calendar, once the quota is filled they should stop giving people admission. Because I don't know why they will let someone pass through all the stress and spending when they know they will only accept a certain number of applicants.

THE FIRST PERSON TO GET VISA AFTER THAT SLA MESSAGE IS A HUGE RECORD BREAKER

Thats what happens wen one keeps making paid email and calls to UKVI... It's interview straight

Phenmeson:
Nop. Just get email for interview

I suspect slots are almost filled up and still many applications on ground.... Like my department there were 65 students already on campus for orientation yesterday when I was thinking they will be scanty... Mind u some are those that deferred admission from 2024,,some are those who have been living in UK

william9008:
seems approvals are slow lately

What d sc@mmer wants to do is give u a f@ke government letter heading which u will pay for,,,but every bill is on u

jaydave:
lol 😂… This travel tins nawa

But what’s confusing me now is that when I googled last night I found out that of a truth a federal sponsored applicant going for master taught program can bring in dependents .
I just wanted to be sure if anyone has seen or heard of any successful federal sponsored applicant

From what I was told yesterday,,there were 65 persons that took part in orientation in my department,,,I was shocked to hear it.... Few more are joining them b4 next week..... Among them some got their admission in 2024 and deferred to 2025.... Some others have been in the UK already

So I don't know now if UKVI has a quota of visas they issue to different departments in different schools probably what is delaying some of our international student visas...

May God help us,,,Amen 🙏

I want to escalate tomorrow... Pls how do I go about it

Bigbabyy0:
Seriously

Just calm down..... We are many

Kmmk792:
Honestly, am frustrated.

Okay 👍

Goddid:
thanks so much, by 6:pm yesterday evening.

Congratulations 💐 👍
Was it 10pm ur email dropped?

Giftedmilli:
Thank you, Jesus. My visa successfully approved.

Is ur visa out now?

Smile1234:
Have you done paid call or email?

This years visa get as E be ooo.... I suspect the sch turnup may be lower than expected,,some school may have to move resumption one month after to enable late visa holders to join d academic year

Phenmeson:
Requested and submitted 3weeks ago ooo.
Is same 5weeks lyk am. resumption na coming Monday 🫣. Bitter truth is even if some are granted, they may not meet up with school resumption jare. Some people deadline for resumption na this month ooo.

Na to pray for mercy of the Lord upon his children ooo.

From 4th December,,now should be ur 6th week

Bigbabyy0:
Was the additional documents recently or since 2/3weeks ago

This is our 5th week

Na interview things now??

Phenmeson:
What's going on is anyone wey his school go resume this week or next week. Email yur skul say you may be resuming late.

Few people of Dec 4 don dey receive interview schedule. Make everyone go dey read oooo

Mehn.... Everyone has been receiving that SLA message... We don't know what's going on

Sakuzi:
No

Did u send a paid email ?

Sakuzi:
Please guys what does SLA not met mean? I am scared

Some parts of ur enrollment can be done in Nigeria while some other parts done in sch... D part that involves passport and visa verification and other checks are in sch but where u have to input ur personal details and and reading school/students binding policies u can be doing that now

codegirl:
can you complete that without visa
My agent asked me not to do it till I get to school

U are still making the same mistake... Go back to ur initial post and change Proof of funds to source of funds.... I'm not sure weda u should include d old bank statement or not.. Someone else will help u

Jahpikin123:
I was asked to provide a Source of funds documents .i am about to upload the source of funds document my question is
I’m I required to also upload my bank statement together with the SOF document?

Remove the screenshot,,u are exposing ur details

codegirl:
this was immediately after my biometrics, Is there another mail that should be sent ??

I know someone that got her visa in 2 days,,for such person what u Just said could be her experience.... Some got visas in 3,4,5 days without any acknowledgement.... For me I haven't received any message from them unless I send them paid email they respond back

Jadue:
Honestly speaking are they people who submitted and ukvi didn’t confirm submission and after submitting the only email they got was visa approved? Because vfs says they have transferred their document to ukvi but one is supposed to get a message from ukvi, I think this new system is slow for some reasons

Sorry I don't know about that.. edit ur question then

Jahpikin123:
sorry i meant for the Source of Funds Documents…When sending the documents for source of funds am I also to include my bank statements?

Complete ur enrolment so that u don't risk losing ur admission

TheWorldLeader:
Guy please do I proceed with my enrollment?
Been stalling because my visa isn’t out yet
Bio on the 16th of December

This is the second mail on enrollment within a week

U are to upload ur 28days POF account statement,,then if u have huge funds in other accounts,,u can add and u can even add any personal property documents u have

Jahpikin123:
When uploading proof of funds documents,do I need to upload my bank statements too

NTU

Bigbabyy0:
What school?

LAMENTATIONS FC,,, HOW FAR

Any lamentations here

1960 to 2026 is 66 years,,d Youngest boy there can't be less than 15,,add 66+15 u have 81years,, so where is 70s coming from?

dominique:
Late 70s

My school begins on d 12th January for orientation and enrollment,,but full lectures begin 2nd feb,,so my school says d delay is fine so long it doesn't go beyond Feb 2nd

Phenmeson:
For those who applied Nov or first week of December wey their school is resuming this week or next week, is better they escalate it now and inform school about am.

Make some school no talk say they're not updated about the status as few may offer grace period of 2weeks after resumption.

Goodnews for people expecting outcome

Did he not lost to Fulham... he's second game now

FBS:
First win in your first game.
