I actually did. Although I had excess but withdrew from the money when I needed it. I was worried cos I submitted the bank statement twice.

So u had to top it back to d original amount b4 resubmitting d statement,, right?

Don't try it, whatever u printed out, the amount on it should not be less than what you printed out for them

I am thinking visa slots for Nigerians per day can be less than 30 persons... So it makes d process very slow

After waiting very long,,if u are tempted to do some little spendings from ur POF to handle emergencies,,do u think they will find out and disqualify d applicant? Or maybe asked to reprint after a long period

I landed in the U.K yesterday.
I was able to get an Airpeace flight for 498 pound (1078000 Naira). Not expensive, for a festive period.

Questions asked at the POE:
I scanned through all the POE officers, they were all smiling, nice and polite. I landed at Gatwick. I heard they are more friendly than Heathrow.

Questions asked:
1. Where are you from? Nigeria
2. What are you here for? Study
3. What course? Business Mgt
4. What school?
5. Where will you be staying? School Accommodation
6. Where will you be sleeping tonight? .....

It is important you keep your response short. Do not go on a tangent, answering questions you are not asked. You will only open a can of worms for more questions. Also, they only checked my passport. I didnt bring out any file or any other document.

Wetin person wan use the acknowledgement email take do?, the price of ticket is going up everyday, one needs to prepare on time, and the resumption date is very close

I am not sure but i think once they start working on your application, you no longer have any business with VFS.
VFS was supposed to track when a decision has been made on your appliccation and also let you know when your passport is ready for collection.

Since your passport was returned to you after biometric, they already marked the tick that states you have received passport.

You dont have any business with them again. UKVI will provide an update on your application or you call them if it exceed the minimum working days minus UK holidays.

Also, you might think they are not working on your application but they are actually doing that. They reached out to my recent employment twice to confirm certain details about me. Throughout this period, not a single mail to me. It was complete silence.

They are definitely working on all application, that is the truth.

But u got an acknowledgement mail at d beginning b4 d silence,, right?

Only those that submitted their passport to vfs should be concerned about vfs,.
Yours, is a e-visa. You have no business with vfs again.

UKVI Removing our data from VFS website,,,is it to show that they working on our applications and therefore not bother about VFS anymore?

As a result of the bank holidays & wot you said you had with Ireland, probably that's why is taking much time.
