One problem with withdrawal of visa application,, UKVI may reject ur withdraw they may say ur application has been locked in and awaiting a decision so u have to wait for the decision regardless of ur sch resumption... It's too late to withdraw ur application

It’s better to officially withdraw the current application instead of just skipping the interview — that way, there’s no refusal on record, which looks cleaner for the next application in May.

Your brother should contact UKVI to request a withdrawal, and also check with the university about deferring the start date to a later intake (May or September). Reapplying for the next intake is fine, but make sure to include all the required documents and the new CAS.

Some people receive an empty NSF message and mistake it for an SLA notice.

SLA not met clearly states: “We may not be able to decide your application within the standard processing time.” It does not say this is because they need additional documents or information from you.

There are two different situations people often confuse:

• SLA not met (non-complex): This simply means they may exceed the standard 15 working days. It is not the applicant’s fault; the delay is on their end.
• Not straightforward (NSF): This means the application requires further checks or information and may take longer to process.

In short, SLA not met ≠ NSF. They mean different things and should not be treated as the same.

One important information i have for you guys. Is not take your visa approval as an express permission to enter the United Kingdom. So, as you plan to travel make sure you have your funds readily available in your account. And also be ready for further interviews and interrogations at both your boarding and destination airports.

Currently someone i know, who supposed to be coming in for Jan start was refused boarding because he couldn't show proof that he has his funds intact in his account.

So I advise you all to apply due diligence in ensuring that you comply with not just the visa requirements but that of entry also.

It is very normal....if u want a quick response to be sure,,do a paid email to find out d status of your visa,,u will get a response

The issue here is that even most schools agent, other agents or friends keep passing wrong information to applicants.
I have a friend that application his taken 2months now, all information were properly filled and documentation are genuine. School agent is laughing the person that assuming she filled the form for the applicant, his/her application will have been granted.
She also mentioned that the applicant case is taking longer just because he/she declared genuinely that they have family member here.

People needs to understand that what is required by A is not what B will require.

We all see what happened in last AFCON tournament in Morocco.
Lastly people need to understand is the govt main motive to reduce net migration.
We don see am for Yankee and other countries.
