Load up to 15k airtime and call them...They will tell u wen ur application got to their desk and how many days left to get a decision b4 u can escalate.... Was ur application priority and wen is ur school latest deadline?

Hannahspeck:
Good day all . please my school is resuming on the 26th of January. N d only mail I have gotten from ukvi so far is d SLA mail on the 13th of january.so I intend making a call to them by Tuesday what do u guys think ?

Jamb question 😂.... But seriously wen i got that mail I was wondering Y asking me for survey wen I have not seen ur service completed... Possibly visa is ready but some delay in d email

beekaf:
Why is ukvi sending Survey mail when visa has not been issued.

The same IT team that will send d email are d same pipo that will register ur details into their system... So don't be faster than them

Jooooooo:
So what if someone decides to open a ukvi account and try to check for e visa even when a decision mail has not been sent

Tribet:
Everybody speculating I don't think ukvi will send sla email after refusal

Someone responds by saying;;;

"""The first one could be true cause someone got visa mail on 16th January but the date was 19th December

Meanwhile all paid mails he sent , response was awaiting decision
I don’t know what took them so long so send the mail if visa was granted on 19th December,2025"""

Can anyone who got late visa confirm the below statement to be true;

"""For those awaiting decisions let me say a bit possible scenarios in the ukvi backend that could finally happen.

.... they might have issued you visa but they have not emailed you about it.

....they might have issued you refusal as far back as December or above but they have not sent you the decision letter you will still receive.

.... they may invite you for interview before making decisions

.... they may request additional documents"""

Someone responds:

"""The first one could be true cause someone got visa mail 16th January but the date was 19th December

Meanwhile all paid mails he sent , response was awaiting decision
I don’t know what took them so long so send the mail if visa was granted on 19th December,2025"""

Until u make a paid call,,u won't realize they really don't care...

Jadue:
Honestly they should attend to people more quickly , a lot of students are anxious . People who applied for Dependant visa how long did it take you to get visa.
But from my experience anything student visa it is better you pay for priority.

The way Chelsea is going now,, someone will need to have another club to hold body... At least Arsenal is there now,,,but I can never ever support ManU or Mancity... Chelsea -Arsenal and Liverpool will be my preference going forward

I expected to see Santos Caicedo,, make Enzo dey bench,,4 where??

Unlimited22:
The same problems

Lol

We move

New manager same players,,same 11.... Truly tinz are happening in HIGH PLACES... make we just sitdon look

That is the only trophy una come life come find.... """I finish above Chelsea trophy""" is it not shameful sef

patrickmuf:
You guys are now 3 pts behind us. It will stay this way if you guys manage to steal a point this evening.

There aught to be a system of amending and changing visa duration with this new system of late visas

Smile1234:
So the visa fee will just go like that?, are they using people to make money this period or what?, may God help us

Okay,,it is well

padua1234:
They moved them to the next intake.

Why are they doing so...
Meaning they will have to refund tuition deposit

padua1234:
I heard that some schools are withdrawing people's CAS. Fear just dey catch me ok. I did biometrics on 30th December

I think u should count 21 working days from d day u were asked to submit source of funds.. Although it might be less than 21 working days

LogikalJay:
After requesting source of funds and I provided, how long does it take to get a response and the visa?

Any idea?

Pick ur phone,,load it with at least 16,000 naira airtime and call d number

padua1234:
Do I need to pay money online before making the calls?

By now u should have completed 21 working days na... It's time to escalate

mzmee:
same here, they said mine was 16th of December, meanwhile i did biometric on 11th of December…. I have cried severally today

Reeeeee,,Yes got d SLA message last Wednesday..

TheWorldLeader,,yes eVisa

Call the UKVI contact centre on 0300 790 6268 (from the UK) or (use +44 from Nigeria) for status updates.

padua1234:
Please how did you make the call?

Just did a paid call,,so I did my biometrics on 16th December...

Here are my shocking findings... D lady says my file got to their desk on the 22nd of December and that I have to wait for 21 working days to get a decision,,,if I don't get a decision in dat time,,I can then call to escalate it... So all ds while we have been told it's 15working days whereas it's actually 21 working days.... May God help us all

Try ur luck... Put money back into ur POF account... Use ur POF and also use ur investment certificate in ur visa application.... Add a cover letter stating wat happened

Qblessed:
Hello guys please this is urgent!!!

Please can I use an investment certificate from a micro finance bank for my POF instead of a personal statement of account in my Visa application ?

I had issues with the previous POF I was running as the money went out of my bank account untimely thereby rendering it useless.

As it stands I’m against time to start a new POF because I’m for January intake and I’m late already.

I was told I could just use an investment certificate in cases like this…. But I read somewhere UKVI doesn’t accept financial documents from micro finance banks.

I intend to run Priority Visa.

Please I need your advice as the only other available option for me is deferment.

Me that have more than 10years study gap,,I still gave them employment history with reference letters yet I'm still waiting ooo.... What's my offense now?

Phenmeson:
Is their job to verify 🤔. People without employment history are invited for interview.
E beta to be sincere than giving them the thing wey if they verify, e fit land person for negative outcome wey no one pray for

This study gap issue I keep hearing,,,I don't understand.... University will not reject ur application if u have more than 10years study gap,,they will gladly collect ur money,,,but wen it gets to issuing visas,, study gap concerns are raised

Okay

codegirl:
yup

Dat ur group,,are u guys under d same agent?

codegirl:
Where did my application enter.. like 5 more people got today from my group. Is it the transcript I didn’t add .. God Abeg 🥹🥹

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 🎉 🎉 I'm having some hope,,I did mine 16th Dec at same place...

So questions....was it priority?

Service Level Agreement

humility101:
Just curious, what’s SLA?

Wat happened to hiring Chopper.... Imagine using such tight security to convey 2 Oyibo from airport to site.... D coaster bus can still work later doing minor shuttles but for those 2 high profile Oyibos,, for just that instance Chopper would have been best

BlueRayDick:
It's not economical flying chopper everytime expats and guests fly into town. Chopper can carry few people also.

The coaster on the other hand can carry as much as 20 different people who fly in around the same time. And the security guys are retained by the company on allowances which is cheap compared to buying a chopper, retaining pilots and servicing the chopper regularly.

Wat course are u going 4?

Kandex007:
Hello gurus in the house.
Pls any idea of any university with a deposit not more than £5000 and tuition around 17k. I want to apply for MRes and I have a 2:2 in Economics during my first degree. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

Has she gotten visa?

Datty123:
Thank God at last. Congratulations. When should we be expecting you in Portsmouth??

Y did ur company not use Chopper from Airport to company base to avoid unfortunate circumstances on d way

BlueRayDick:

She must be wondering how u survived all of that and still managed to keep ur sanity to become what u are today.

In 2024 I was in PH, on the way from the airport we were in a convoy with one German and one American national who are expat consultants to our company. The coaster bus we were in was bulletproof o and we had one hilux full of armed soldiers as lead escort while another hilux filled with armed Mobile police officers was following closely behind us.

Despite the level of security, the moment our driver observed the bus was giving him funny signs and he parked, come and see the way those expats were jittery. Seems they've been told how kidnapping is rampant in Nigeria particularly in the Niger Delta. You could clearly see the horror on their face right from the moment the driver stopped to check the vehicle till we continued our journey. We the Nigerians in the bus were not even bothered because we know nobody is coming to face that much security detail in a gun duel but the white guys were not calm at all.

Some of those negative news always keep foreign nationals on their toes while in Nigeria.

That should be date to begin orientation and verification exercise... Classes should be in February... My school resumed orientation yesterday and I'm still waiting for visa with SLA that came last week

Hannahspeck:
I will be d one to get oo by his Grace my school is resuming on the 26th of January ooo

We are all here waiting for the first person na... I don't know anyone

Tribet:
Do you know anyone who has gotten?

That's d problem.... D tin is that some of Dem in sch now will default payment deadline for first tuition installment and will be sent packing,,some given visas may not travel some may not finish their program after gone far.... All these uncertainties makes Universities overshoot their admission numbers so that they don't lose at d end

Sakuzi:
If this is the issue then they should be giving universities quota of students to accept per academic calendar, once the quota is filled they should stop giving people admission. Because I don't know why they will let someone pass through all the stress and spending when they know they will only accept a certain number of applicants.
