XMAS PR things. Rochas is just pimping few roads within Owerri metroplis to recieve positive remarks and accolades from Xmas holiday returnees. Where has the Rescue Mission being all this while. As i speak majority of Imo roads are in a mess and many of them have not being used for up to 3 years after shody construction. Am glad Imolites are awake to the scam and Iberiberism called Rochas Okorocha.
work has been going on those roads but the rain was really disturbing so stop ranting.

TUBERS OF YAM AT DOUGLAS ROAD: WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

ONWUASOANYA FCC JONES

Earlier today, the usual suspects went to town with false stories of the Rescue Mission government destroying and seizing the wares of some traders along Douglas road, Owerri. I took my time to investigate what really happened and I hereby give you the correct version of what really transpired at Douglas Road, Owerri, today:

1. For over one year now, some traders have continually and deliberately made it difficult for the Imo State government to go ahead with its development plans for Douglas Road, Owerri. This has led to a situation where the Douglas Road got closed, even though the government had made adequate provisions for new and more standard shops for traders who may wish to relocate to new sites.

2. Today, the governor in the company of some government officials, the Police and civil defence officers went to that street to plead with those involved in illegal trading along the streets of Douglas Road, to immediately vacate in order to allow development to take place.

3. While most of the traders were cooperative and gave their word to vacate before Monday, some traders proved recalcitrant and gave indication that they will make themselves tools in the hands of politicians and enemies of Imo State to stop the government from going ahead with its development plans.

4. Governor Rochas Okorocha, in his usual compassionate disposition continued to plead with the traders, explaining to them reasons why this development is crucial to Imo State. The governor made it clear that as a Statesman, his major interest is not in winning the next election, but in securing the future for the next generation.

5. A trader whose tubers of yam from the Northern part of the country just arrived, used these tubers to block the road. The security agencies, in living up to their duties had clear the road for the governor to pass through.

6. The governor was well received by most of the traders who understand that they have been given enough time to relocate.

7. From Monday, 19th of November, all those illegally trading in Douglas Road, Owerri, are expected to have relocated to any of the three modernized markets and free zones within Owerri metropolis, as the government is determined to ensure that nothing stops her from executing its people oriented programs and policies.

IMO COMES ALIVE AS UCHE NWOSU RETURNS

Johnbull Chikwe

The lull in political activities in Imo State occasioned by the unavoidable absence of the commander of the masses, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has come to an abrupt end as the man of the moment made an unannounced entry into Owerri, the Imo State capital after a long stay in Abuja, the FCT.

Nwosu who won the governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State has being exploiting all legal options to ensure that he is not robbed of his well deserved mandate by a dangerous cabal in the Party. His more than one month stay in Abuja had been expected to rob him of some of his supporters. However, his fanatical support base seems to be intact as a massive crowd of supporters came out to welcome him at the airport on his return.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd of anxious supporters, the real estate mogul turned politician stated that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress, as he expects that the Party leadership will do the right thing by restoring his mandate.

Meantime, some of his supporters of the youthful governorship have expressed their disaffection with the ruling All Progressives Congress, as regards the handling of the primaries in the State. Most of his supporters urged him to quit the APC and declare for another political Party, from where they expect to give him their full support to realize his governorship ambition.

Rochas lost where if they repeat the primaries 100 times Ugwumba will still win.
PoliticsRe: APC Responsible For What Nigerians Are Going Through – Okorocha by Amaco123(m): 6:03am On Nov 09, 2018
PRESS STATEMENT

APC HAS RESCUED NIGERIA FROM THE ROT SHE WAS PLUNGED INTO BY THE PDP- GOVERNOR OKOROCHA

The Southeast leader of the APC, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha has praised the governing Party for successfully rescuing Nigeria from the rot she was plunged into by several years of PDP's misrule. The governor credited this achievement to the tenacious patriotism, transparency and purposeful leadership of His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari.

"The All Progressives Congress has done so well in such a short time to pull Nigeria out of the rot of poverty, corruption and joblessness, which the careless years of the PDP plunged her into. Nigerians now have better lives, better jobs and indeed better security and public office holders are now afraid to steal." The governor explained.

The governor also went ahead to assure that the APC shall not only retain all the States it won in the 2015 general elections, but shall win more States as well as more legislative seats in the coming elections.

"Nigerians know that the APC has done well and they shall be rewarding them with higher votes in 2019. Being an APC member is a thing of pride and I urge you all to wear the badge of your membership with pride."

The governor stated this while speaking to some members of the APC State Working Committee, candidates of the Party in Imo State and few Party stakeholders. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their support for the Party.

The above is the strict opinion of the governor on the performance of the APC and the general public is therefore requested to please discountenance a fictitious report published on an online medium, Dailypost, where the governor was falsely quoted as saying that the "APC is Responsible For What Nigerians are Going Through". This report is not only false, but also mischievous, as the governor did not visit the State House in Abuja today, neither did he speak to any State House correspondent.

We urge the Dailypost to cross-check their facts properly before going public with same, especially, in this critical period in Nigeria's democratic journey. The editorial board should understand that they are equal partners in the task of steadying Nigeria's democratic ship and they can only do this by informing the people accurately through responsible journalism.

Onwuasoanya FCC Jones
